What would you guys say about a RPG using the rules of G.U.R.P.S.?
It has one of the most advanced if not THE most advanced char generation system, allowing for basicly any race to be played.

Well i think thats a bit too complicated for my simple mind. ( all my gamer friends call me Kroxi now tongue.gif, its official cause they needed to tell me from a skink based lizardman in the area-hes called skinky laugh.gif )

BUT, i do agree we are in need of a newer RPG. the other rpg thingie just sorta stoped. sad.gif

Well, it's not THAT complicated.
Everyone makes a char with a set number of points. (for example: 100 points)
With these points you have to buy everything: Stats, advantages, skills, spells, etc.
There are also a few ways to get more points, by means of disadvantages and quirks.
Also, all skills and spells are based on your stats. (usually dex and iq)
So raising your IQ might accually make your char cheaper! Provided ofcourse that you got lots of mental skills/spells. (which seems to me the majority)
After you're done with that, think up a name, a background, an appearance, a job and his goals. (the latter is usually not needed)
Among the advantages there are also "racial advantages" such a scaly skin and cold blooded.
And if you got the right books, then the GM can even send your char through time&space if he so wishes.
So you could have your saurus suddenly walking in necromunda for example.
Where he, ofcourse, needs to find a way back home.
The possibilities are basicly limitless.
