My pick...........
Mario Puzo.....the great novelist who became famous wid the GodFather.......which attempts 2 potray the scenario of Mafia network in Newyork......... i m sure many ppl mis interprets the word mafia.......it was actullay the hiding place 4 italian families during the outrage of civil war............Not 2 mention his other works like OMERTA another fav of mine.........OMERATE is actually a code followed by these Mafias who pledge not 2 open their mouth against their rival's f they r caught bythe cops...................if u start reading GODFATHER u ll really feel like the DON. John Grisham...............i just his technical flawless ness......but my latesr pick the Street Lawyer needs a special bit of appericiation..................it has given u the insight of the US goverment policy 4 the homeless..................it has shown why the Homeless r evauated from the streets of Newyork during the OLYMPICS just 2 hide frm the international media..............but the backdrop is throughly emotional & interesting as well........just try out |

yes mario puzo one of the great novelist of
all time who immortalize the character Don Vito Corleoe.......will be always remembered as one of the greats........the novel stayed on the new york times's best seller list for sixty seven weeks shows what magnitude that novel had achieved............................................ and yes kaushik grishy is the modern great........ the author who had the most no. of bestsellers in the nineties..........has written several masterpieces...... |

yeah....i wasn't an avid reader....but i suppose "godfather" was the first book that i ever read.
but i feel the movie overshadowed the book...what with actors "marlon brando", "robert de niro" and "al pacino" enacting the major characters that of the older corleone, younger corleone and micheal corleone respectively.... n my best pick would b "the da vinci code". the murder mystery...super. the revelations of the paintings done by leonardo vinci...amazing.... what with tom hanks enacting the lead role in the movie based on the book. waiting eagerly for it!!! |

What??? No one is of my age? Ooopsie... I am an avid reader of Harry Potter and I love it too much. The other books I read are books by Sidney Sheldon, my mum says its not for children but still I love the way he writes and recently I'm reading a book called 'Double Blinded'. I also read books by Carolyn Keene, Agatha Christie, Arthur Conan Doyle. Etc etc... cause I'm a bookworm and my list's ever gonna end...
