    Ollie Oliver,

So how about this season's lineup? You're
up against the Bats in August, right? It
should be an interesting match. I doubt
they've improved much since last year.
I peeked in on one of their training
sessions a few weeks ago, and... well...
    it wasn't pretty.

And it's a good thing. From what I hear,
Puddlemere can use all the help they can
    get, this season. ;]

    Mel Demelza,

Hmm. Our team seems up to task this year.
I've got a few veterans this season and you
know what they say, practice makes perfect.
Unless of course, you're a natural - like myself -
and don't need practice to be perfect.

I could say that for some other people as well
however, but not on the topic of Quidditch.

But how about your team, how are practices
for you this season? I've heard you've got a
    game in August as well.

Ah, I should be offended, and I would be if
that came from anyone else. However, I have
a right mind to set you straight and get even.
But ah, what kind of gentlemen would I be
    then?

    Mister Wood,

Ah. So you're a natural, huh? We'll see
about that. I might just have to make it out
to your game to test that theory myself.

...I'm not going to justify that statement
    with a response.

That I do - and I'm proud to say my team
is doing rather well. If only I could stop
causing accidental injuries to my fellow
    teammates.
I have a really good feeling
    about our next match.

A gentleman, hm? One would assume that
with a temper like yours, anything remotely
"gentlemanly" wouldn't be possible. You are
being rather civil, though, despite my previous
remark. Not many would stand for their team
being mocked. I must say - I'm impressed.

And as I said earlier, I may come to your match
to see how you fare. And perhaps, if I find you
a worthy opponent, a one-on-one match in the
    future? We'll see.

    Miss Robins,

Aye, indeed I am. And I like to pride myself
on it. But you know how that goes, your
ego gets too big for any room you're in, so
I only reveal such classified information to
important and worthy people. Not unlike
    yourself.

Ah, and why ever not? Don't you like a little
bit of honest to goodness innocent flattery?
Alright, I can stop if it bothers you.

Thats wonderful. Good for you and your team.
Didn't I see you at St. Mungo's a little while back,
after our accidents on the field?

Impressed - not quite what I was going for.
But I suppose impressing you will have to do,
at least for now. Ah, if I weren't so foul tempered,
however I probably wouldn't be where I was
today in Quidditch, to be completely honest
    with you, Demelza.

That'd be lovely. And I look forward to a
one-on-one. Me on top, of course, and
whose place, yours, mine, or somewhere else?

    Oliver,

Important and worthy? You sure know how to
flatter a girl, Wood. You must be quite the
    heartbreaker amongst your female colleagues.

    Innocent flattery. Hm. That's debatable. But no;
it takes quite a bit to bother me.

You most certainly did see me there. As much
as I'd rather not say it, I've become a bit of a
regular at St. Mungo's. I'd say it all comes
with the territory, but I have a feeling that
even if my Quidditch wasn't my forte, I'd still
be a frequent visitor. Trouble seems to find me,
    no matter what I do.

I look forward to it, myself. Wherever you'd
    like; I'm not picky.

    Demelza,

Oh, I should hope so! Or else how would
I have gotten so many girls? Not that I don't
have my own charm, I'm just better at flattery.
    That is my forte.
    I've had my share of
practice, waiting for you. over the years.

Too bad! I wanted you hot and bothered...
    That's good then, I suppose. I wouldn't want to
get on your bad side. Not that you have a
bad side. You're nice to look at all the way
    around.

A regular at St. Mungo's? Now, am I to believe
you're a klutz or simply accident prone? And
should I pity or humiliate you? Hmm. I suppose
I'll stick to my gentlemanly routine. For now.

Ah, I'm glad. Finally a girl with a little bit of
spontaneous inclination! Those are hard to find.
You're one of a remarkable dying race, gorgeous.

    Oliver,

You know, flattery is quite the useful weapon
tool when attempting to get what you desire. I'd
say I've had my share of practice, as well, but it's
clear I'm nowhere near as talented as you.

Again, with the flattery. You just don't know when
to stop, do you? Though it is working...

Ah, yes. And I'd prefer to think I'm a nice fair
medium between the two. I don't need your pity,
and if you were to resort to attempting to
humiliate me, I might have to reconsider my
    attraction to fondness of you.

Spontaneous inclination. Is that what you'd call it?
Well, regardless, I'm glad to hear that I'm part of
a dying race. And even more pleased to her you
    refer to me as "gorgeous".

    Demelza,

Ah, touché. I almost forgot this kitten had
claws. However, I have to agree, to a point.
Sometimes it doesn't get me everything
    I desire. Unless... ah, nevermind.

Not really, I have an idea that there's no such
thing as too many compliments, however. And
the art of flattery doesn't lie too far behind the
    art of compliments.

Aha, I see. A sense of humor as well. Are you
aware that many men would be very attracted
to a girl like yourself? Not unlike myself.
    Not unlike myself.

And fondness? Do my ears decieve me? I've
always heard your affections lay in the game
of Quidditch, not to a single man.

I am smirking at this point. Yoiu have to admit
you set yourself up for that one.

Ah, you're part of many things, Mel. I've
decided to be brave and come out and
    call you that.
A part of many things, indeed. Much like
    my preverse imagination and fantasies.

    Ollie,

You're beginning to sound quite suggestive,
Mr. Wood. Careful, or I'll get the wrong idea.

Ah. Again, you are right. At least the basis
of both lie somewhere within the realm of
truth. Otherwise, flattery would simply be
a clever form of conniving deception, and
it wouldn't be nearly as complimentary and
wouldn't get you quite as far as you were
    aiming for.

I appreciate that. And would that mean that
the Oliver Wood finds himself ever-so-slightly
attracted to me? The attraction is mutual.
    How lucky I must be.

Yes, Oliver; fondness. Quidditch does take
up a rather large majority of my affections,
but there's always room for someone who
    meets my standards.

In your very words; touché. I should have
    worded my statement more carefully.

Mm. I'm not quite sure whether I should
take that as a compliment or an insult. I
suppose it depends on what "things" I'm
    a "part" of.

    Mel,

Oh? How wrong is this idea of yours, Miss
Robins? Would someone like me find this
'wrong idea' very gratifying? If so... I
suppose I should keep on being quite
    suggestive.

Hmm. Good point. So it's a very good
thing that they lie in the same category,
is it not? Otherwise, I wouldn't be so much
of a suggestively flirty gentleman, but rather
a preverse ladies man. And that would not
do well for either my reputation or my bed,
for I'd probably ahve women coming back
    at... bad intervals.

    Ever-so-slightly attracted; possibly. Very
    attracted; probably. Flirting; certainly.
Hmm, I suppose so. Unless of course you
yourself are attracted to me at least ever-so-
slightly, than we are both very lucky.

Ah, I see. And do I meet these standards of
yours? I can honestly say you bypass
    meet mine.

    Agreed.

I suppose it would. But they are complimentary
things unless you are dead set against pleasing
a man. Then perhaps... you might be insulted.

    Ollie,

You are absolutely awful, Mister Wood; I hope
you know that. It's a good thing I find your
flirtatious behavior quite cute and endearing.

You mean to tell me you are not a perverse
    ladies' man?
No, I assume it wouldn't fare well
for your reputation or your bed.

Well, then. I suppose that does make the pair of
    us rather lucky, doesn't it?

Naturally, you exceed meet my standards, love.
I wouldn't have spent all this valuable time
corresponding with you if I felt otherwise.

... And again with the suggestive behavior.
What am I going to do with you, Oliver?

    Mel,

Oh, I know. You have to have the technique
just right, or it becomes annoying, not just
    ceasless flattery.
    But I've mastered it, haven't I, Demelza?

Hmm, which is exactly why I stay away from
people like that. I don't want to be influence.
Otherwise, when pretty and talnted girls like
you come along, all I'd get was one shot, then
I'd have to work up to another girl, all over
again. It sounds like dreary work to me.
    I like committment in bed.

I'm so glad. I even wore my lucky horse-shoe
pendant for good luck. Apparently, it works.
I wonder if I rub it hard enough if I can
    score...

    Oh, same here, same here.

Love me, feed me, and never leave me. That is,
of course, if you'll be mine. Other wise, what
in Merlin's name would be the point of 'never
    leave me'?

    Ollie,

You most certainly have, Oliver, love.

    You're absolutely right.

Lucky horseshoe pendant? My, I didn't think
you were the superstitious type. I certainly
hope you don't have a lucky niffler foot.

Charming, Oliver. Simply charming. Do you
treat all potential girlfriends like this? In any
case, saying I'm "yours" sounds awfully
possessive, and while I rather like the idea
of the situation, my more independent, feminist
side is being rather scornful. Saying we're
"together" just sounds nicer, all-around, doesn't
    it?
