overall; Though Anthony Goldstein would be the first to tell you there’s nothing special about his appearance, several would beg to differ. Lighter brown orbs sit just below his thick, dark eyebrows, and are noted by many girls to be the focal point of his appearance – his most attractive attribute. He does, like many of his fellow classmates, have several blemishes throughout his face. The boy has a thin, cleft chin, though it doesn’t detract much from his overall appearance. Anthony’s nose is an average size, though it is slightly crooked from breaking it during his childhood. The boy’s thin lips are a light, rosy pink shade, and are usually chapped from long hours spent on the windy grounds. His thin, oval shaped face is a naturally darker tone, despite his preference to spend time indoors. The boy is quite tall, but his weight is proportioned nicely and he doesn't look stringy or awkward at all. He's in fairly good shape, what with all the training he does for work, and while he doesn't always eat the healthiest of foods, his weight isn't affected much.
Much like many of his fellow Ministry workers, Anthony’s attire is a professional one. He can usually be seen in a crisp white button down shirt paired with one of his various ties and black slacks, and will wear his black work robes if the weather calls for it. On his off days, however, Anthony goes for a more casual approach. The young man owns a multitude of polo shirts in various colors, and often pairs them with a pair of jeans and trainers. Regardless of what he’s wearing, however, Goldstein is never seen without a gold pendant with the Goldstein family crest on a matching chain, an heirloom passed down to him by his mother from his late grandfather.

overall; It was shortly after Rachel Goldstein revealed to her longtime boyfriend, Charles Fredericks that she was expecting a child that the then eighteen-year-old woman knew he was as good as gone. It had been less than forty-eight hours after their talk that she came home to their one-bedroom apartment from work to find him vehemently packing his bags, hardly saying a word to her as he crammed his few belongings into his small duffel bag. It wasn’t as though she expected much from him, anyway. Rachel had always had a gut feeling that when it came down to it, she and Charles would never be together forever, and she would have to face this world alone.
Nine months later, a very tired Rachel held in her arms her pride and joy, a precious bundle she named Anthony Goldstein, after her late father. The boy grew up well, despite Rachel having to take on two full-time jobs and the occasional odd job to pay for rent, food, and all other necessities. Anthony looked up to his mother more than anyone in the world, and vowed that he would someday take care of her the way she cared for him throughout his life.
Even before he received his letter from Hogwarts, Anthony was studying. The boy wanted to be as far ahead as he could possibly be while still comprehending the subject matter, and his method worked well. He continued his absolute hardest at Hogwarts – after being into Ravenclaw, obviously – being declared one of the absolute brightest in his year, and passing everything with flying colors. He was never the kind of person to ever really know where his true calling lie, and instead jumped headfirst into an internship with the Ministry shortly after graduation, and from there began slowly working his way up the ranks. It wasn’t long before Anthony was regarded as one of the most talented members of the Accidental Magical Reversal Squad.
After packing his bags and promising his mother he would come visit her every holiday and as often as he could, Anthony left home and moved into the heart of London, where he remains today, more successful than even he had ever expected himself to be.

personality; To be frank, Anthony Goldstein is hardly the type of young man parents long for their daughters to marry. Even upon first impression, the boy seems to be anything but a gentleman. Very mysterious and more often than not with a detached look in his eye and an ever-present frown upon his thin features, Anthony is the poster boy for angst - whether intentional or not.
Unlike many of his classmates during his Hogwarts years, you would most likely find Anthony in a far corner of the library or in a secluded section of the Great Hall, reading a book or writing incessantly in a notebook that he carries with him everywhere. Things haven’t changed much since then. The boy sees no importance in sports, and while he has since acquired the taste for firewhiskey, Anthony wouldn’t dream of setting foot in any environment resembling a party. In addition to his fixation with learning new spells and jinxes, Anthony has a passion for world history. He loves reading about ancient civilizations of the world, and secretly dreams of traveling someday to research them all. He’s an intellect at heart, and it’s blatantly obvious. Anthony speaks with sharp wit and uses a vocabulary that even some of his former teachers didn’t understand at times. He can be sarcastic at times, and almost always seems standoffish and antisocial, but overall, Anthony’s simply trying to maintain a mysterious air. Being a double agent definitely has its downsides.
Anthony is classified as a “loner”, though he does have a small circle of close friends, even if they’re not the most prominent group of people in the wizarding society. It takes quite a while to get to know Anthony, due to his reserved nature (but not shy or quiet – the boy will be the first to speak his mind if he feels the need), and he remains cautious of some people, regardless of how well he knows them. He is a bit paranoid, but not by any means afraid. Anthony will never back down from a fight, and he always stands his ground, defending himself and his allies with all he’s got.
In his line of work, the ability to blend in to any environment is crucial, as is the ability to act well. The young man tries his hardest to stay out of the spotlight, even going so far as to not speak to many people of a social status higher than himself. As a result, Anthony fails to show his emotions to anyone and has very few opportunities to share his feelings with other people, instead turning to a battered old acoustic guitar and an equally tattered old green notebook that he is hardly ever seen without.
The boy has yet to have a girlfriend. Due to the way his mother was treated, Anthony treats all women with respect, and would never dare to hurt them; it would take quite a lot for him to even feel comfortable flirting with a girl. Anthony is ridiculously shy around girls he likes. He hates it, but it’s completely obvious when he likes someone. The young man’s face turns red, he stutters, and he has a tendency to trip over his own two feet. It’s incredibly cliché and Anthony hates it, but he can’t help it. He’s afraid to get too close to anyone, for fear that he will end up becoming like his father – though he promised himself long ago that he would never become that man.
