Wow, that looks awesome G9 ^_^ You've done a great job with the pose and the anatomy. And as for the bad guy thing, it looks like an Aussie critter is in WDP to create some Anarchy in the U.K. to get revenge for the Ashes XD :rofl:

OK I've popped over to the rents' house to steal my Dad's computer and scanner so I can upload my entry!

I apologise for cther crapness and lack of originality, but hey it's the taking part that counts. I did this at work on saturday, in about 15 minutes, using only materials we had at the reception desk.

Fashionably just late, I blame my scanner being annoying for most of the day and the fact that I had to go out for a concert 10 minutes after I got it working, but I'm still within the submission deadline so it's all good :rolleyes:.

Anyway here is my entry,

He is a pine marten ^_^. For a name I was just thinking of calling him something very basic and unoriginal (and Farthing-Woodish) like Marten, or just Ten. Actually I'm leaning more towards 'Ten' just because I like the sound of it. Personality wise he's sort of a mix between Owl - very aloof and with a similar sense of lofty self importance - but with a bit more of the sort of cutting and slightly sarcastic traits of Weasel from the books (not the show).

I had all kinds of grandiose plans when I started this to properly texture the fur and add a proper background and such or at least colour it but as usual I managed to run out of time X D so very basic sketchy sketch will have to do:

I had originally intended to draw him more cartoony and 'farthing-wood-like', my drawing is so inconsistent though that I can never be sure what something is going to end up looking like when I start. So I'm glad that it at least looks vaguely like a something.

I'd quite like to finish this sketch off properly how I had originally planned, since I've never really created any characters before and I quite enjoyed the process so I would like to at least finish this one. Good luck to all the other entrants already in and still to come if any, and thanks to Tsuki for organising all this, it's been a lot of fun :).

I don't half write a lot in my posts :unsure:.

Liking the animal choice, and I think Ten sounds like a cool name too. Looks far too pretty to be aloof and sarcastic! :lol:
