Welcome to New Orleans, a city full of color, tradition, and a vibrant night life, more vibrant than its inhabitants had ever imagined. First, Vampires came out of the coffin. Now, Weres and Shifters have revealed themselves and the reactions are as mixed as the 'supes' themselves.

In a city still trying to recover from the ravages of Katrina, how will the citizens react to these new changes? How will the Vampires, once the only known supernatural beings, deal with the publics renewed prejudice? How will the human population cope with the knowledge that yet another myth is, in fact, reality?

I've put together this guide to help you find out everything you need to know to get started. Remember, though, even if you've never read a book or seen the TV series, you can still easily get involved. We're all eager to meet you and write with you, and there's not too much to know. The biggest difference between the True Blood universe and other Vampire sites is that the Vampires have 'come out of the closet'. That is, they've revealed themselves to the general public. Other than that, read below if you want to get better acquainted with our 'verse. Warning: Spoilers from book series!! * We prefer this site to be OC (original character) driven, so Canons are not offered, though if you wish to play one for cameo appearances only, feel free to approach an Admin. Check the memberlist to see who is available. We are set AFTER the book series as it stands, and are in New Orleans, not Bon Temps, giving us a reasonably clean slate to begin our own story.
