A Toast

It was more beautiful at night, this island paradise. A fire burned near him, fueled by the magnificant trees he had cut to fuel them, a bottle of rum in his right hand, balancing his weight on his left hand as he laid back in the sand and watched the sun set, and the moon rise. Out at sea was the Kayla Tonic, for the most part still fully operational with the crew left there, the people that were seadogs and refused to visit land except when absoluetely necassary, but for the most part the crew was on land, somewhere on the island having festivities, and only Romane seemed to stay on the shore line, thinking of Kashuno. This is the last place they had even chatted. He sighed, taking another chug of the rum in his hand as he looked up to the stars as the fire burned slowly.

She sat silently on the railing of the Kayla Tonic, swinging her legs. She hadn't been in quite the mood for festivities, yet. Besides, she had just left land earlier today, why the hell would she get back on? She looked down at her captain and sighed lightly. "What's wrong with you? I never pictured the famous Romane Dasmary a somber guy," she yelled out.

Truth be told, she hadn't really learned anything of the Captain in her short time with him, so she really didn't know what to expect. He had just caused hell in Britain, any other pirate would be having a drunken party with the rest of his crew, boasting about how they dominated the Brits. She was somewhat worried about why Captain Dasmary wasn't.

Of course, weither he wanted to or not, he had no capability of hearing her at this distance. He took another chug of rum, sighing again as he looked to the stars.

"We'll build a settlement here and call it Kirane city, after Kashuno." he mumbled to himself.

She sighed, noticing that even when she shouted he couldn't hear her. Still curious what exactly bothered her captain, she pulled off the robe-like dress that she wore most of the time and rested it, along with her blades, against the mast of the Kayla Tonic.

The arriving starlight meshed with the departing sunlight carved itself around her body, which was solely covered now in a black bra and pair of black panties as well. She hated getting her clothing wet. She sighed as her gorgeous frame strolled over to the side of the Tonic. She knotted her hair into a tight bun and swung herself over the rail, diving into the deep water. As she swam through the water, she blew a rush of bubbles.

Resurfacing a few yards from her captain, but still deep enough that Lyn could still be covered up to her chest in water, like a mermaid, she asked her question yet again.

"You didn't know I was a somber guy?" he questioned silently, then chuckled. "And tell me, what do you even know about me? Nothing?"

He sighed, taking yet another swig from the drink as he stared up to the full moon, which was surprisingly untouched by clouds, despite the parcipitation which he assumed would be coming the next day.

She shrugged as her long, smooth legs continued to tread water. "I suppose not too much, only that you're one of the most famous pirates out there these days."

"Am not." he replied simply, throwing the now empty bottle, to the last drop, into the ocean. He laid all the way down now, continuing to plan in his head about Kirane City.

[Lyndis Sacae]

"Are too," she said simply, and somewhat childishly. "I take it you ain't in port too often, they always been talkin about you and your adventures."

"I've had no adventures. I'm just a simple pirate trying to make my way in the world." he said, only thinking halfy towards what he even spoke to her, more of his thoughts on Kashuno and how much he missed the dear man.

[Lyndis Sacae]

She sighed. "The hell is your problem tonight? You seem so much different than earlier," she muttered as she swam to the shore and lied, face down, on the sand.

"Nothing you would understand." he said abruptly, now standing and dragging his dingy from the trees towards shore, yelling something into the distance. He couldn't stand the land anymore, he needed to get back to the Kayla Tonic, the only love he had of his life that he knew wouldn't turn him down to a little time together.

[Lyndis Sacae]

She sighed deeply as she shook her head. "Idiot," she said softly before she crawled back into the water and swam back to the Tonic, crawling up the anchor chain.

By the time she was there, he had all ready rowed there, and she would be greeted on the rail by a boot, which was aimed for her chest to send her back into the water, in a playful sense. He needed to lighten up, and surely kicking her back into the water as the rest of his crew stowed away that dressed in a hidden location would be an enlightment.

She cursed as she was kicked, losing her grip on the chain. Luckily, he knew little of the woman's past life, so she had a few tricks in store. She tightened her legs around the chain and, though they were slippery, she was able to slow her decent greatly. She latched her hands onto the chain yet again and loosened her legs, letting them drape below her back into position as she crawled back upwards. She was gonna give him a hell of a time when she got back up on the god forsaken deck.

He chuckled as the men brought up a bit of gunpowder and put it on the dress as Romane took a torch and held it above the dress as he brought it over the rail, a few yards to the left of Lyn. "Hey there." he said with another chuckle.
