Plemmer, One man and his nothingness

"GoodMorning Mr.Nothingness," Said I, "How are you today?" I said whilst holding Mr.Nothingness up against my cheek. "That's good. Hey, do you want to hear a secret Mr.Nothingness?" The room went silent, a small rat quivered in one of the corners of the room and then passed away. "That's right Mr.Nothingness," continued I. "I am on my own, in a room with nothing else around me. Except for rat carcus of course."
"Of course," replied Mr.Nothingness.

i don't understand this? what is this all about?

"How curious," I said. "Look Mr.Nothingness, someone has come to visit us." I said as i stepped away from the far corner of the room. "Would you like some tea stranger?"

I paused momentarily as the stranger looked at me. My eyes gradually became bloodshot. "Earl grey of course," I said as I held Mr. Nothingness to my ear once more. "Ooh, your skin feels soft and squdgey Mr. Nothingness, like velveteen," I chuckled. "Mr. Nothingness thinks you shouldn't have Earl grey," I said bluntly to the stranger. "He said that you don't deserve tea and therefore should be taken to the culinary room."
