I was wondering if this sounds like a good RP. (If it gets enough support, I will start it.)

The Lost Island

You don't know how you got here, but you are here.
You don't know how they are here, but there they are.
You look out, and see the ever twisting fog of fate, only to see that you are lost, forever in the river of time.

You wake up on a big island that is surrounded by a dense, high wall of fog, yet the sun shines brightly every day. The island has everything from lush forests, a lake, to a few mountains (I may draw a map soon.). The island supports a huge amount of wildlife, some of it calm, a lot of it dangerous. Every night The fog rolls in at knee high level, and rolls out every morning, growing vegetation insanely fast on any bare soil. Beneath the soil, the rocks contain a abundance of minerals and many kinds of ores, crystals, and rare stones.
There are many people here, many races of many species. But because of the fast growing vegetation, nothing can be farmed or built before it is quickly choked out by the plants.
The Island has no time, while the sun falls and the moon rises, this is not time. Nothing ages past maturity, creatures here have been around for 50 years, others for thousands.

You may choose to play as any race or creature, as long as you fallow the basic selection rules.
1. You must be able to talk (That means now, no "but I can grew up to talk.", and no telepathy.)
2. Size Restriction (We are on a big island, not a continent. No huge creatures aka. Giants.)
3. No Magic. (as much as I regret that, it is insanely hard to balance magic and tech well, I had to go with tech on this one.)
4. No Energy life forms. (Sorry, just wouldn't balance well, as I said before.)

Because humanoids lack both numbers and physical power, they can use any technology up to the modern era. At least to what extent they can on the Island without proper facilities.

Humanoids can start with 3 items, as long as you fallow the basic item rules.
1. It must be a carry able item.(No 1000 year supplies of food.)
2. A container and its contents are two different items. (The only exception is a water bottle/water skin.)
3. It must be a normal item, something you would normally be carrying on you. (aka. a camera, a pocket knife, and a watch. No Rocket Launchers, big weapons. Small arms like a pistol is acceptable, but remember that each clip counts as 1 object, and the gun is a object too.)

I hope you all will enjoy surviving the Island, the Inhabitants, and surviving the other new arrivals.

I would really enjoy peoples opinions on this.
I also would like to hear any more rules needed for the Items/Char Selection for balancing.

Ooo this sounds realy interesting. I would defently join this rp. I think Nereus would take rather well to being stranded on a island. XD

I honestly think it needs a bit of work. I want a interesting RP but giving people free rein means free rein to exploit anything to make them stronger. (huh, just like real life ) Maybe I should put this somewhere where more people will give me some balancing tips. Don't worry, this will still be the first forum that I will start this on.
