so. that's gretchen holiday, otherwise known as snowboarding's reigning ice que
en. that is, if you want to be able to call her by her nicknames on the air. otherwi
se, just go for anything you'd normally only hear from the mouths of drunken sail
ors. she's dark and vicious and pretty damn intolerable when everything boils do
wn. if there were ever a case for straightjacekts, this is the psychobitch that wou
ld prove it. of course, that would make it hard to snowboard, and, at the end of th
e day, she's really an amazing boarder. it might have something to do with the fa
ct that she may or may not be (hint: she is!) blackmailing shaun white into coac
hing her. obviously, she's not really in her right mind. gretchen is a clinically dia
gnosed sociopath, which means that she is pretty much the most untrustworthy
person you'll ever meet, and an unofficial psychopath. there's a lot about the wo
rld she will never understand, which can make her come off stupid, but she's not
an idiot. there's just something wrong with her mind that makes her incapable of
registering a lot of the world around her. like relationships, for instance. she doe
sn't understand how any human being can stand another one, so she likes to see
how far she can push and pull relationships until they break - she basically view
s people as her personal play things. she's manipulative and unreasonable. her
mind is constantly moving a hundred miles an hour in the wrong direction.

so, here's the dope, princesses/princes: gretchen does not do friends. she does
n’t. she doesn’t like people. not any people. the only reason she’d tolerate you w
as so that she could hurt you in some awful way. she’s an awful person, so i do n
ot see why you’d want to submit your character to that anyway. enemies is wher
e the action is at, and enemies with benefits. she’s manipulative and cruel. insan
e. completely off her rocker. she doesn’t understand why people like people. so.
lots of random fucks – SHE LIKES BALLS AND BOOBS, BY THE WAY! - lots of
enemies, no friends. at all.

she sounds precious. (: no, really.
basically, all i have to say is that leigh would be TERRIFIED of her. and that is
saying much since the girl doesn't get scared of people that often. but gretch is just
a bit to psycho, even for leigh's taste. i'm not sure if they would be enemies, though
i'm sure we could make SOMETHING happen (because drama is my middle name).
maybe gretchen will thrive off of the fact that she scares leigh. i dunno. x)

aw, haha. no, i actually think that our two would be fun in a sadistic, awful sort of
way. i could see them getting into a couple of fights? because, and correct me if
i'm wrong, but leigh seems like a total badass, and i think that - in the beginning
- she wouldn't take gretchen's shit. and i can't see them running into each other
all that often, just because their sports are so different. but, as i said, that could
just be towards the start of their "relationship"? before the fact that gretchen is
a total psycho would totally set in, hahaha. OHOH, AND. as just a fun little side
dish, i think that, as gretchen is going through a bit of a mental break right now,
she will at some point, become convinced that leigh is trying to kill her with one
of her speedskates. XD which means that gretchen is basically going to throw a
fit anytime leigh is in shouting distance, while leigh is just like, "...wtf?"

anything can be accomplished! : DD i like those ideas. though i still think gretchen
would scare leigh a bit. it would be a strange, strange relationship indeed but i think it
would be very fun. x) even though gretchen is a bit...frightening, leigh mos' def
wouldn't stand her. so that killing with the speed skate thing may not be too far
off...haha. kidding. but still.
i wish there was some catalyst i could think of that would create some animosity
between them but i'm not sure there is one. x) but hey, who knows?

yeah, totally. i could sort of see them always blaming each other when something
goes wrong? like, ever? in any aspect of their lives? and then when other people
ask why, they're just like, "because she exists!" hm. a catalyst would be nice. i
really think that it would be more realistic for leigh to be the one that was really
bothered by something, since gretchen sort of refuses to allow herself to be bot
hered by things - and yet she has no problems getting revenge... - but yeah. tha
t is also my passive way of leaving you with the responsibility. (; but no. i don't
know. i'll try and brainstorm something !?! 'cause i'm sure we could find someth
ing super cool.

oh haha no, it's not a big deal. (: i get what you mean. hmm...i can only think of men
being catalysts but i'm pretty sure nothing like that would effect gretchen. so i'm not
sure D: hmm. maybe something regarding a scandal? like...leigh gets in trouble for
something (maybe she gets disqualified; i don't she'd do anything really scandalous)
and she blames gretchen/knows that gretchen caused whatever happened, so she
tries to get back at gretchen? which would make gretchen even more angry.
