Welcome to Dreaming in Gold, a literate and up roleplaying community based on the Winter Olympics.
Every four years, the pinnacle of winter sports occurs, inviting in athletes from all over the world. The best of the best compete in these games, setting records and making firsts every day. But outside of the competition is drama. Friendships, relationships, and enemies and rivals galore. Some people let this get to them, but some prefer to be dreaming in gold.

names, though. just landon. he's twenty, an ice dancer from norway, an
d the total reincarnation of cary grant. he has skated with his partner, p
enelope, since he was five years old, and couldn't imagine going to the
olympics with any else. and though he's also a bit head over heels for h
er, he doesn't have any reservations about charming the pants off of an
yone he comes across. his parents raised him with the sort of manners
that, these days, are only seen in black and white movies. he doesn't b
elieve that chivalry is dead, not in the slightest, and if it is, then he'll be
the one to resurrect it. now, despite being a gentleman, landon isn't a s
aint. he is incredibly temperamental, and what sets him off differs from d
ay to day. and he tends to skip over talking or rationalizing and goes str
aight to using his fists - because landon loves to fight. loves it. he's lik
e a one man "fight club." for friends - like i said, landon is a friendly pers
on. i wouldn't call him outgoing, per say, but if he gets into conversation
with someone, then he's more than nice to them. enemies are pretty co
mmon. he's temperamental and possessive - though he will deny the lat
ter to his death, since he doesn't think it apropos at all - and quick to us
e his fists to solve his problem, so he'll for sure have some people that d
islike him. and then lovers. in the past, girls have felt third best, behind p
enelope and skating, so relationships have never really worked out. and o
ne night stands and friends with benefits were never really his thing, so i
don't know how many pasts he'll have, but i'm up for hearing anything, so
if you have got any ideas, throw them out! ANYWAY, plot him up, bbys!
