In fact previously my play experience was out of 3 matches , 2 of the matches opponent will "Painful Choice" then throw Chaos Soldier out, Monster Reincarnation take back Chaos Soldier , after that Living Dead Psycho Shocker LOL! I am not kidding lor u can ask around in this forum if you want ... (Yes this person is in this forum LOL)

Not really with confiscation and aggresive guard gone , I am afraid chances of Chaos Soldier coming out is quite high.... and a first turn twin demon may spell a win for u .

Even fiber pod got ban so i think that it is pretty hard to recover from twin d.~~~

Expect to see decks running 2-3 saint mags again now that twin-d and graceful charity are back. I guess Mystic swordsman Lv2 will be used more often...

After re-looking at the ban list, seems like this ban list saint magician abuse won't be as gd, compare to the first ban list ( I am comparing the first ban list to this ban list because they are quite similar .

Reason why saint magician won't be that popular
- Mystic Swordsman is still userable since u will only be getting 2 Mistakes (Critter,Killer Snake)
- Reinforcement is still restricted to 2~
- Still there isn't much nice stuff to take back (Magic) since Black Hole is restricted so you can't really abuse Saint Magician to take back Black Hole x N and repeat and rinse to "Clear Field" , Vortex have a cost u know ^^ so it isn't tat effective.

Can't really see current metagame, all i can said is that there really isn't much reason not to play Chaos , WHY?
Simply both confiscation and aggresive guard was ban so there is no way to discard him from the hand, once U DRAW THAT IT, hes gonna hit the field soon.

I guess we will be seeing more of DDV now , 1 of the few cards that enable to look at your opponent hand ... and critter is unban now.

A bit sad to say that Twin Demon is gonna be abused real badly now with saint mags and MOBC(1 for 2 is realli advantageous to yr side though). I was expecting to Konami to leave either Confiscation or Forceful Sentry as the only hand-d card and ban Pot Of Greed oso. But o well :blink: , everythin seems quite fine as sixth sense is banned.

The new restrict to ones and twos are oso a great job done by konami. The onli thin which puzzles me this time is why Executioner Makyura is in the ban list????

well, at least scientist is gone. seems like they decide to get rid of the root instead of just weakening it (by restricting reasoning & last will). maybe it's because of that scientist deck as said by kyo, though he refused to disclose the content of the deck. i'm still curious about that deck..

Frankly speaking, Konami has, imo, screwed up the ban list this time round. We'll just end up with more cookie cutter decks with this ban list.

New Metagame Breakdown...
Phoniex God
Phoniex is pretty much not playable anymore , ppl can just use assilant or dwg to remove phoniex from the game and there goes your whole deck...

Undead
Pretty obvious Undead got a major beef with critter out of the ban list,and the only userable "Hand Sight Seeing" card is DDV which can be combo with Critter and Soul banisher spirit, + the restricting of Vampire Lord to 2 , it will be pretty obvious that Undead deck will be very popular for this current ban list .

Chaos
As i had previously said there is no reason not to play Chaos Soldier anymore just splash it into any of your theme deck and u got a power house , the best warrior in the game! Or perharp the best monster in yugioh.

Quad Emperor + Monster Gate
All i can said that with triple brain wash this might be quite playable and monster gate can combo with it too , which is pretty bad, bug of the current ban list?

Ever since hearing about the rumours quickly went to form undead as it has a least affacted by the ban list.

Yeah, my prediction is that Chaos and Undead will be the new cookie cutter decks. Konami is obviously trying too hard to promote undead. Undead is the only playable deck that can include both Viruses, unparalleled recursion abilities...damn Konami to hell for creating the next cookie cutter, and for not thinking twice before making the new list.

That being said, time to add in all the broken cards.

at least pple can choose between chaos and undead deck now... Btw, wats the use of having card of insanity and brain control when Jar of greed and COH is not ban. Haha... I thought that they are going to replace the cards.
