Thank you for your interest in CHIMERA, but we're unable to accept this application. There are significant aspects of it that deviate from what we know of Walburga in canon; the characterization is also anachronistic in some respects.
Walburga was shown to be a zealous believer in bloody purity, so much so that she verbally abused any muggle-borns or even half-bloods that trespassed her home. Your application, however, states the direct opposite, contending that she actively befriends them and even dismisses the ideology altogether:

walburga doesn’t mingle with muggleborns and halfbloods in public but after starting at hogwarts it became clearer and clearer to her that she isn’t better than any of them at all and so she started befriending them. friends with muggleborn howard fenwick though she would never admit it to anybody. however the two of them have been caught sneaking around together more than once. she doesn’t believe in the purebloods are better than muggleborns bullshit anymore. |
I understand her later racism may develop into something stronger than what it originally was - but the inherent beliefs must have been acknowledged to begin with, to allow for such an extremist final worldview. If she really did dismiss it as "bullshit" - nevermind the jarring use of the word - reasonable psychology cannot account for her subsequent extremism.
Furthermore, if she had indulged in such mingling, and had gone so far to have been caught doing so, there is no justifiable way that she could have maintained her status in the traditionalist Black household. As the hp wiki mentions, "any who disagreed with the notion of blood purity or married Muggles or people of different blood statuses were disowned and blasted off the family tree." Had Walburga consorted with muggleborns actively, she would have been berated or disowned. There is also no discussion of how she developed such progressive views to begin with; for someone who was born and raised in a household that actively preached pureblood ideology, she seems to have made the adjustment with next to no struggle.

sixteen and shagging on the of the best looking, richest pureblood socialites in the broom closet. she loves being scandalous, love people talking about it, loves having everybody stare at her. walburga is kind of easy to get into bed with, or at least to get into the broom closet with because that is in fact where she mostly has sex – or like the only place she has sex. swear walburga has been together with half the school already and she barely turned sixteen. |
To put it bluntly, this is also impossible. First of all, the time period is the conservative 1940s, which already makes such behavior rare and at least secretive. Secondly, she is a pureblood, a caste that condones rigid behavior all the more. And lastly, she is a Black, a family known to be absurdly traditionalist and exceptionally conservative - they still operate on arranged marriages and interbreeding. That said, the idea that Walburga engages in rampant sexual exploits is inherently ridiculous. Her family would not have tolerated the behavior in the least, and she would have been completely ostracized by pureblood society. That her behavior is not even secretive - in fact, apparently loudly speculated - makes her indecency that much less sufferable.
That she terms her partners as "fuckbuddys" is also humorous, but only because it is at such odds with her upbringing and time period.

she’s rumoured to have quite the temper problems but i’ve only seen that once when she and elsie got into a fight with one of the other girls. that was that one time. i don’t think i’ve ever seen anybody go crazy like that as walburga fought the best she could, biting and scratching and kicking and screaming. |
A loud temper tantrum and vicious attack is also by no means a small event. As a pureblood lady - part of a family that considers themselves proper and aristocratic - leaping at someone and physically clawing at them would constitute lunacy. Yet, the repercussions within pureblood society are not acknowledged.

| cygnus would be leaving for hogwarts for the first time in a very short time so he was spending more time with his family than he usually did because his mother had told him to stay at home. he was normally rarely at home, mostly running about the neighbourhood doing mischief, pranking the older muggle ladies, playing ball with the other boys. their father didn’t care much about his sons’ behaviour as long as he didn’t step on any influential toes or disgrace the family in any way possible. |
You also narrate other characters specifically. As mentioned in the application guide, we discourage references of other players' characters unless you have established a relationship with them beforehand; in this case, our current Cygnus has not been characterized as someone who would prank muggle ladies.
Holistically, we felt Walburga herself was underdeveloped. While the application was long, almost the entirety focused on anecdotes or her relationships with others - we did not get a sense of why she is what she is. For example, why she desired power, why is she private, how she developed her alternative worldview, etc.
Lastly, there were some grammatical issues throughout the application, most commonly with comma placement and run-on sentences.
Again, thank you for your interest in the forum, and for taking the time to apply.
