overall personality:

Nicholas is a pretty usual boy, or at least he never thought himself to be anything out of the ordinary. A bit odd for a Slytherin as well. Perhaps just because he was a Malfoy it was that he had been sorted into the house. Despite his considerably mean tendencies which appear at times (if you get on his bad side and that is quite possible and sometimes easy). Well, really, they are quite usual tendencies. But, since he tends to conceal himself from others, not many people get to know this side of Nick. Most often, however, Nicholas will be pretty nice to the innocent bystander who he sincerely has no intention of greeting. Those people will never know him for his meaner and sarcastic side. If you did know him, however, you might get to know some of his mean side. But if Nick likes you, he will be much nicer in many cases.

When Nicholas was smaller, he was growing up with a. Draco Malfoy who didn’t exactly always do things that would make his little Nicky very sweet (or not to other people), and b. a mean older brother (despite the very small age difference) who also set such influences on him. And of course, being small, he was heavy influenced by those around him. At least he wasn’t as bad as that older brother of his. He also can stand up for himself.

Unfortunately, Nicholas is quite shy and not the better of the two boys, to say the least. His father most likely preferred his older brother to him. But his father still treated him in the way any father would. Nick, being as he is shy, often tries to stay away from trouble (though he’s always getting caught in messes). He had always had this thing about coming off as totally innocent, but never quite achieved these goals (much to his dismay)…and often was pecked at by higher authorities such as adults, professors, and other people such as because he was always the one pulling off silly little tricks. Nicholas is quite the trouble-maker at heart.

Nicholas has also always had a love of learning and literature. He was always, and still is, the really smart one in school and because of such often gets praise from his parents.

Overall, Nicholas thinks he’s incredibly plain personality wise. Though other people may think differently than he does about the matter.

boggart:

a humongous group of bugs. Nicholas has an immense fear of bugs, and his boggart would probably a large swarm of assorted bugs coming towards him. Or it could have been just one large—humongous bug coming at him as well.

to be famous. Who doesn’t want to be? And since he probably could and will never achieve such goals (most likely), this would be the closest he could get to it.

a tiger (quite small and timid seeming, though. Perhaps it will mature).

This was the date of Nicholas Adrien Malfoy’s birth.
It wasn’t the most special of days, just another day when a particular Daphne Malfoy gave birth to hers and Draco Malfoy’s second son. Sure, it may have been special to Daphne and Draco, but to everyone else…it was just another day.

When little Nicky was growing up, he was treated just like any adorable little boy would have been by Draco and Daphne. He grew up taking on many examples of personalities which were shown through out the house, though he still was just a little boy. Perhaps he was a bit more privileged than other little kids, but hey, he just thought he was pampered like any other little boy would have been. Psh, cute little kids who are well pampered don’t need to know that they’re just a bit more pampered and loved—well, not really loved, but at least it was shown in a big kind of way. Nicholas was a normal little boy, too, he played with the things that little boys played with and he asked lots of silly little questions.

However, Nicholas may have been a bit smarter than some other little kids—he was always interested in things that little kids could have not been interested in normally, and tried to delve deeper into his questions and thoughts. This, although, did not mean he was some kind of child genius. No, he had a pretty regular IQ and such. Nick just kept on growing up. Nicholas had always been fascinated with the stories his mother read to him, and took a liking to books at an early age. He liked all of the regular stories which were told to small children his age, and he sometimes decided to read a story book made of often mainly pictures and big lettering over and over again.

Nicholas was around ten when he started to be more into reading actual chapter books and poetry books (not that the poetry was all that nice seeing as it was probably written as something a ten year old could write) and taking to school and learning very nicely. Another upside to his liking in learning was that his father and mother loved it that one of their sons had nice learning skills and reading skills and math skills and…so forth. So he got a little extra attention from them for it, too. It felt good.

But alas, he wasn’t liked all too well by the other kids when he was growing up. Eventually this resulted in Nicholas being very shy and reserved from other people.

When Nicholas was first making his appearance at Hogwarts, he was sorted into the Slytherin house like any good little Malfoy boy would. It was a good thing for him, as he had feared he would be a…Hufflepuff or something and end up getting scolded by his father. But no, Nicholas was a proud little Slytherin boy and no one could change that. It was all good. Unfortunately, his shyness still prevented him from making any strong ties at first, but eventually Nick warmed up to a few people and made some friends.

Five more years and he ended up as a sixth year, sixteen year old Slytherin. That’s all he was at Hogwarts, really, just a shy sixth year, sixteen year old Slytherin. The shyness had failed to go away. But hey, Nick is totally contented so what does it matter?
