Advanced Member Group: Members Posts: 102 Member No.: 355 Joined: 20-April 07	Okay, so I went out with some friends for wings tonight and the wings place we went too had T.V.s at the booth. We decided to watch the Captain Planet Marathon for Earth Day. I already knew this, but I got reminded of it again, that Captain Planet is the most anti-capitalist cartoon out there. It's not even for the pro-environmental stuff. I mean, there are so many suggestive themes going on there, like the solution to half the problems are publicly funded projects to help the poor and the enviroment and it's always these evil businessman that want it shut down. The damn commericals for the Marathon were copies of Al Gore's "An Inconvinient Truth" for crying out loud! I'm trying to find it on the Internet, but you can tune into Boomerang today to see it. If you ask my Geology professor from 2 semesters ago, he'd tell you that government intervention worked by forcing all coal burning operations either to use low sulfur coal or to use emissions equipment to remove the sulfur dioxide from their exhaust fumes (he even had pretty graphs to make his case). As for reality, I don't know.
