I played Diablo 1 and 2 quite extensively. I wish they'd put some more adventure elements in there though, since after the first playthrough the gameplay becomes a bit too repetitive without the anticipation of the storyline, boss fights etc.

Hard to say what they'll do in that regard. If they adventurize it, it would overlap more with WoW. And D1 and D2 were definitely characterized by the "kill! kill!" gameplay.

Either way, they'll make it addictive.

This one has a more cartoonish feel to it though, especially in the cutscene they showed with the Barb talking to Cain. I'll get over it if they keep it as dark 1 and 2 though. And I think the Witch Doctor replaced the Necromancer too. A tough cookie to swallow for me.
