Pacifism

In reply to someone who thought pacifists were merely confused, I said this "'Don't give them too much credit. Pacifists desire injustice - for the benefit of the criminal and to the detriment of the innocent."

This person couldn't understand why pacifists want to sacrifice victims and be lenient to thugs (and she could find several actual instances of this in law), instead of simply not distinguishing between initiatory and defensive force.

Now to the point: I remember reading a thread/post about this somewhere. I think it was on this forum but I don't know what to search for to find it. It was about this precise issue: the fact that they go beyond merely regarding violence as such to be wrong.
