Seriously, have a dictionary ready when you post. These words have been spelled either so extremely wrong or so many times that they cannot merely be typos:
Sertanty - this is spelled certainty.
Consistancy - this is spelled consistency.
Independance - is this similar to square dancing? Oh, you mean independence?

I will include any other "typos" here... unless those who committed the above evils are too angry over my pointing them out.

Personally I copy all my posts into MS word and spellcheck them, then copy them back, it’s faster and easier.

Anybody who spells certainty Sertanty, and is older than 10 should be told to come back in a few years.

Here are a few more:

then instead of than, and visa versa
there instead of their, and visa versa
and, this one is a pisser, of instead of have.
You should of done this. angry.gif Learn the king's English you infidel!!!!!! icon_badass.gif

Commies,
Keep up the poor grammar, spelling, and lack of proper punctuation. It is fitting, and shows your want of education.

Inquisitor80 did it.

English isn't even my native language and I speak / write more correctly than a lot of the native speakers on these forums! I intend to maintain this trend.

How about this: just use the edit feature to fix your own posts. If someone's spelling is really bad, just tell 'em here and give a link to the offense. I think inquisitor's error is in the "starting from scratch" thread and I'm sure he'll be happy to fix it.

It's really quite a terrible spelling error, but his post was quite brilliant IMO. I'm sure it was just a typo.

Inspector is actually right about the "Sertanty" example. Now that I look at my keyboard and the omission of only one letter and the proximity of s to c, that seems entirely possible. Sorry guy!

Sorry but you seem to think that being an objectivist equates with being good at spelling. I just HAD to point it out. tongue.gif

Hehe well I don't know, I personally thing 'S' is still too far from 'C' to be just a typo. And to someone bad at spelling, 'sertainty' could look correct.

Meh, it doesn't get to me that much. I could still read it.

If these were my forums, it might irritate me more.

Argh! I, the God of Spelling, must send my son to Earth some day so you might be saved from your sins! Here's the latest blasphemy:

- sentance

Obviously, the word is properly spelled sentEnce.
Actually, these mistakes are all made by Inspector. No offense my good sir, but they are. Repentance and resistance do spell with a's in the end. Now, let us dence in a danse area.

Until I send my son for your salvation, you should read any dictionary. Amen!

They can't find flaws elsewhere so they attack my spelling!

Seriously, I would spellcheck more, but I barely have the time to post as it is. It's a trade-off.
