To get a
running theme going here, I have a few more businesses with troublesome ownership to report (both of them old news, but worth reporting on in case anyone hadn't heard):
The first is
Caribou Coffee.
They are 87.8% owned by the First Islamic Investment Bank, which has management membership in common with the terrorist group, Muslim Brotherhood. They openly state their their goal is to ensure their companies are run by Shari'a, or Islamic law. Their religious adviser, Dr. Yusuf Abdullah Al-Qaradawi, openly calls for support of Palestinian terrorism against Israel.
The second is CITGO gasoline...
...which is not a company at all, but rather an apparatus of
Venezuela's state-owned oil company, Petroleos de Venezuela SA. Venezuela's communist dictator, Hugo Chavez, uses the proceeds from this company to support alliances with China, Iran, and Cuba, as well as to support international terrorism. He is hell-bent on doing everything in his power to harm the United States. Naturally, the oil equipment used by Petroloes was looted at gunpoint from western companies.
CITGO's ownership is not a secret, either: it's on their web site. Also,
Communists encourage you to buy CITGO gas.
I'd definitely say a boycott would be appropriate for both of these.
