G E N E R A L ::
By joining this site, you agree to follow the rules issued by the administrators. The admins reserve the right to modify or interpret these rules as they see fit.
Each member may have up to 5 accounts. Permission from the admins is required if you would like to go over the character limit. At least one of those characters must be a male. If you find yourself unable to play one, let an admin know.
You need to be a member for at least two days, to get a third charrie. For a fourth, one of your accounts must have a total of 75 posts, for a fifth and so on, you have no limitations ans so on.
One character per account. No exceptions. Also, no celebrity or TV show character names either. If you can't come up with your own, what are you even doing here? PM me if you absolutely must use that name, give me a good reason, and we'll see.
R E G I S T E R I N G ::
When first registering here at MRBB, we require first, middle, and last names. Don't question our wants either. It's highly annoying when a screenname such as falloutgirl300 is seen. If you have trouble or mess up please contact an admin ASAP to change it for you. Otherwise, your account will be deleted as soon as we see it.
Variety is highly wanted, and expected. While in real life you might come across eight Sara's, we'd only expect a maximum of two. Unless related to another, we require that you DO NOT use the same last name as them. Put 'don't slow down you're gonna crash' in your application. It gets confusing if we see a whole bunch of Williams'. And if the last name is slightly unique, we shouldn't have a problem.
A P P L Y I N G ::
Please, before being accepted do not post anywhere except your application, or if you are reserving a canon/model. It's common courtesy; if you don't get accepted then we have to go and delete all your posts - not fun and it makes us rather angry.
Mary-Sues and Joe-Shmoes. They're not wanted, absolutely hated, and not realistice. So don't do it. Everyone has flaws, the more your character does, the sooner you'll be accepted, and the more people will want to roleplay with you. We will ask you to change something if we feel they do everything, because no one can.
P O S T I N G ::
Each of your posts must be at least two quality paragraphs. That ranges from five-nine sentences. Believe me people, it isn't very hard, and if you can't do that, how do you become a good RPer? If you're having a brain fart [as most do] I will allow a one paragraph minimum, but I don't want the site full of those posts. However, if your roleplaying partner puts forth three paragraphs or more of text, you will do your best to match that length, because if they can make the extra effort, so can you. NO ONE LINERS!
As with 99.9% of roleplaying sites, godmoding is not allowed. If you don't know what this means, ask us and we will define it for you. Though I'd really hope that isn't needed.
Sexual relationships are allowed. Just don't go into details if you decide to take your relationship into intercourse. It's against the IF Terms of Service. We will not be having our board shut down because of you. However, if your thread gets a little out of hand, make sure to edit in a R rating in the topic description.
Keep in mind, if you don't use protection you will end up pregnant, or with a nasty STD. Before writing up that your character is pregnant, you must get an admins permission. Meaning you also have to wait for a reply from a PM, or whatever way you contacted them in the first place.
Anyone found defacing property will be fined, jailed, or both. Any type of sexual harrassment or sexual intercourse that is not willing is against the law. Raping someone will automatically land you in jail and you will become someone's bitch. Don't say we didn't warn you.
O O C ::
You may advertise other sites. However, the only place you may advertise is on the Advertisement board. Not on the tagboard, in your signature, or anywhere else. That will automatically be deleted, and you will be warned.
If you are having problems with another member, please do not broadcast it on the tagboard. We don't all want to deal with it. PM the other person, or, if it gets out of hand, notify the admin. It's part of our job to make sure things run smoothly around here.
Cursing is allowed. However, do not let it get to the point where every other word is a cuss word. If someone asks you to stop, respect them enough to do so. This would actually go for both IC and OOC.
G R A P H I C S ::
Celebrity pictures ARE allowed but please, claim 'your' celebrity in the "Model Claim". Absolutely no anime or anything of the sort. Use real people.
Do not use Hilary Duff for your profile picture! We're allowing any other celebrity, but no Hilary Duff. Why? Because I personally can't stand her, and don't want to see her running around MRBB. Oh, and no Kiki Kannibal, cos that girl is just ridiculous and horrible to look at. (Sorry, just my opinion.)
When it comes to graphics, all avatars should not exceed 100x100. Signatures should not exceed 500x500. Anything that stretches out the page will be removed immediately by an admin. You may have two rows of icons, neither should go over a four icon mark. Seriously, then it would just look rediculous. Along with that, please choose either icons or a signature, not both.
