The Races There are many different races accepted into Arizan Academy. There have been none that have been denied, atleast... not denied from their race. Below are the last of the different races found at the Academy.HumansThe most basic of races found in the school. Humans are possibly the most delecate roaming the buildings. They are usually the first spotted as a food source from vampires. They are prone to being dragged into doing whatever a were wants from their strong aura. It's easy to say, being in a school full of different races they are the weakest.WeresWerewolves are possibly the most common of the weres, but that doesn't mean they are the only of this species. Weres can be of any animal from a wolf, to a cat to even a fox. The only problem with weres are their 'morals' are extremely low. If given a choice, they'd choose running around butt naked without fear of what others would think. During the full moon phase[the week leading up to the full moon], weres are excused from class whenever they please. It is during this week most are more likely to cause trouble. Many believe that this time is when the beast takes over, but its more along the lines that they're sex drives move into high speed. Weres are known for having an irresistible aura that many will cave into without any idea against. The week of the full moon, this aura grows stronger and sex becomes the basic need. The night of the full moon, each is forced into their beast form and to spend the whole night in that way. Weres are able to change between forms whenever they please any time before or after a full moon. This is usually the way they heal wounds. During the shifting it heals most wounds. Some wounds take more than one change to heal completely. Silver is a weakness they are to stay away from or else is it possible to do serious damage against them. A were’s pack is its highest priority. The pack always comes before themselves and weres would do nearly anything for their pack.. unless, for course, they have been treated poorly. There are very few weres known for having high psyche powers, able to invade one's mind and find out what they wish or taking control of another's actions.ShapeshiftersNext to humans, they are the most common around the school. The only difference in humans and shapeshifters is, the obvious fact, they can change their form. Just like a were, a shapeshifter can change from being human to their beast form. Shifters can be anything from a hawk, horse or even just squirrel. The major differences between a shapeshifter and a were is they do not have a strong aura that could make many do as they wish, though they do have a strong one. They also have higher morals, much like humans. Clothing is something they preffer to have. They also are not forced to change during a full moon or even effect by it.VampiresLuckily the classes are in doors or else vampires would not beable to roam the halls or go to class. The legends that a vampire will turn to ash in sunlight is true, but many vampires grow immune to it from years of being a vampire. This, of course, takes centuries to beable to be outside fully. Even the oldest vampires[some ranging up to being 6 centuries old] are unable to be out in the light. They do feed on blood, but what few know is getting bit will not turn you. It's only if you share blood with a vampire three times, meaning you drink his or her blood three times and the vampire does the same to you. Many vampires are known for having high psyche powers... that's if the other person does not have their sheilds full up and blocking such a thing from happening. There are ways around this, however. Vampires are unable to reproduce besides the first week of being turned. It's extremely rare for one to be born a vampire or part.Half-breed/HybridsA mixture of two races. Hybrids have characteristics of both races they have in them. There are extremely few that make it to being old enough to make it into their teenage years. Hybrids are extremely frowned upon. Were hybrids are normally killed at birth by their packmates. It's dishonorable to have a halfbreed living within their pack. Hybrids lives are extremely difficult. Even in a school meant to protect them.
