High School is difficult as it is for teenagers. Teachers and parents riding on them about getting good grades, being the best athlete and just making their lives the best it can, while making their teenage years hell. Sure, there are some teenagers that get away with not having to worry because their parents don't care enough. But that's how life for the human teenagers is. A human's life is a million times easier to deal with. Especally as a teenager.

What do the nonhumans do then? Few schools actually allow them to attend from fear that they aren't incontrol of their instincts to be around more humans than they need to be. No one wants a vampire acciedently losing control and biting another and forcing an addition to the vampire race. Or, a werewolf going into bloodlust during the full moon phase. The nonhumans are looked down upon from their natural instincts, especally the teenagers for not being able to control them.

But how exactly is that fair? The law states equality for all, no matter the species, gender or race.

That's where Arizan Academy comes into the picture. The founder of the school, Daniel Arizan, decided to make the law begin to follow through with what it claimed. He made a school where humans and nonhumans were allowed to be together. In even better terms, live together aswell. It was meant in a way to teach vampires, weres, shape-shifters, humans and even hybrids to live together without society's view on each's ways of living.

I can't escape this hell

The founder's reason behind making the school wasn't only from how the law was unfair in doing what it said, but from the fact he was tired of how he was looked upon for being a hybrid. His mother was a werewolf, his father a vampire. Unfortuntely only a few years after the school was created and the first class to enter into the Academy made it to their graduating year, he was murdered by protestors who did not approve of the idea.

No students had been hurt during the graduation ceremony that took Daniel Arizan's life. If anything, it caused anger in those who'd grown to love the school. It was only natural they would want their children to beable to recieve the same eduction and experience they were given. So, instead of Arizan Academy dying as was hoped, it grew.

Now... it's became the largest school for any race. One of the most desired aswell. That doesn't stop those who don't believe that a school should be filled with inexperienced teenagers with different powers or instincts that can easily cause more trouble than anyone is willing to deal with. Who knows.. some people may also be planning on ruining the school with one little mistake.

So what if you can see the darkest side of me?
No one will ever change this animal I have become
Help me believe it's not the real me
Somebody help me tame this animal
