RESIDENCES
Could you ask for a better town to settle down in? If that isn't quite within your price range, there are a few apartment buildings scattered around town and fortunately, no matter how little you're able to spring for on rent, you won't get stuck in too "bad" a part of town, not compared to the city anyway. This is North Harris we're talking about after all.

SNOWED INN
A cleverly titled little inn located in the less than thriving downtown area. It was opened by an elderly couple a few years back and, apparently, no one has really bothered to update the decor since. Still, it's clean, the owners are friendly and it's a place to sleep when you need one.

MIRELL'S BAKE SHOP & CAFÉ
A charming little coffee shop located downtown, it's warm, old-fashioned flair gives patrons the feeling of stepping back in time when they step through its little, red door. As long as you buy something, they don't mind you loitering for a while. Why not bring a book along and stay for a bit?

APPLE BARREL DINER
Not the fanciest place, but what were you expecting in North Harris? The Apple Barrel radiates the same welcoming warmth as the rest of the town and it's open twenty-four hours a day. Business isn't bad at all either, it's the best place to grab a burger in town!

THE CEDAR CLUB
Hardly comparable to any clubs in the city, this club is more of a bar, with a relaxed atmosphere to drink and listen to live bands. Anyone under 21 will be swiftly booted out on their bottom, so don't even try sneaking in.

THE REC CENTER
Keeping people busy keeps them out of trouble and since there's little to occupy the residents of North Harris, a rec center was opened up. Inside you can find a swimming pool, a gymnasium and a few spare rooms that occasionally hold various classes and group meetings.

NORTH HARRIS SHOPPING CENTER
Don't count on finding the hottest designer labels in here, or much of anything at all. The shopping center is fairly small, with a few staple stores carrying clothes, a department store, a miniature foodcourt, an arcade and a few other things. People seem to enjoy hanging out here regardless.

ORCHARD PARK
Located in town, Orchard Park is a beautiful shock of green during the summer, with a beautiful field, well-maintained garden, duck pond and a playground. However, even in the winter it's beautiful, the white blanket sprawling across it makes it a breathtaking place to go for a stroll.

NORTH HARRIS WALK IN CLINIC
Though extremely serious injuries require being airlifted, the clinic is good for patching up less major accidents and taking care of you when you're rather severely under the weather. The staff is friendly and competent, always a plus.

NORTH HARRIS POLICE DEPARTMENT
It's a lot less daunting than it sounds, the little building is quite brightly painted with a nice shade of off white. Inside there's little more than a reception area, a little office, two cells and far too many filing cabinets, accented with the occasional fake potted plant.

ILLUMINATED CATHOLIC CHURCH
and you thought your grandma was too religious. well you ain't see nothing yet. the illuminated catholic church once named for it's beautiful stained glass windows is now named for it's fang hating members. each sunday is filled with fire, brimstone, and wooden stakes. don't forget to get your 'god hates fangs' memorabilia at the gift shop.

the lovely new-age store owned by noel canto. most people think she's crazy but if you need oils and incense this is the place to go. feng shui or palm reading guides? come on in. she'll read your palm, tea leaves, or toe nails for a mere 5 bucks.

FOREST
Vague as it may sound, there isn't just one, secluded forest in the area, in fact, most of the land that isn't lived on is taken up by forest. The trees, thick, ancient and covered in a remarkable amount of moss, stretch up to the sky. Be careful to stick to the trails though, it'd be a terrible thing to get lost.

MOTHER'S HILL
North Harris shares its backyard with a small mountain. It's quite the attraction for hikers and locals will occasionally take little day trips back to them, not to do any serious hiking though, just to explore a little and maybe picnic at the summit.

CRYSTAL LAKE
Just a ten minute climb up one of the many trails of Mother's Hill will bring you to a perfectly round lake and a modest waterfall. It's worth admiring all year round, but in the summer heat, people will usually go swimming or sliding down the natural waterslide off the side of the falls.
