Of course, Christopher Lloyd played Doc in the trilogy - along the new Telltale Game, The Ride, and the live action scenes from The Animated Series.

In addition to that, though, Christopher Lloyd also reprised his role as Doc for smaller spots.

* In The Earth Day Special of 1990, Doc and his DeLorean make an appearance. The video are here and here.

* In the Universal Studios Florida promo, Doc is sent two years into the future to videotape and document how the future park will appear. The video is here.

* Then is the DirecTV commercial.

* And the Microsoft Tech-Ed skit.

* As well the Check Your Coat video by O'Neal McKnight.

* Then there is Doc's cameo in The Simpsons Ride. This one is animated only.

I can tell just how much Christopher Lloyd really cherishes his role as Doc Brown, considering how many times he stepped into the role of Doc the past few years. Some fans have accused him of selling out, though - especially in the case of Microsoft Tech-Ed skit - but I actually got a kick out of that skit, even if it wasn't completely stellar.

Still, I'm sure Christopher Lloyd must be real happy about finally being able to reprise his character in a more serious role. I mean, the Telltale Game is probably about the closest to seeing a BTTF4 as we'll get.

Possible story to the Garbarino series:

These can act as a sequel of sorts to Back to the Future: The Ride.

In the first episode, a man (with his female companion) is doing some filming - when Doc shows up in his DeLorean. The man and his companion are curious, and decide to find out the mystery of the DeLorean.

In the second episode, we see the same event happen - but from the POV of a security camera. There is no sound.

In the third episode, after letting the pair of companions and the people behind the security camera in on his secret - they show up at a conference, and start inquiring about Doc's time travel experiments.

In the fourth episode, he marvels at the wonders of the future. He then shows his entire crew at the Institute of Future Technology (including the new members he picked up from Argentina 2011) his garage, from before the amplifier was complete.

In the fifth episode, he travels back in time to when he was a kid. He shows the entire IFT crew his younger self and his mother.

In the sixth episode, during Christmas, he shows the entire IFT crew his latest time travel invention: a time sleigh!

What do you guys think? I think it would tie in neatly with The Ride Universe. We could probably also include TAS - since, in the conference episode, he was putting some device into his ear. I think it was a translation device, so that he could understand the questions that his new crew members were asking him - like what they had in TAS.
