The observing will be held at Bonnyton house starting at 8 pm if the sky is clear. If the sky is cloudy Friday and event will be held on Saturday evening. It is cloudy we will hold a photography and image processing workshop.
Bonnyton house can be found using Multimap and the postcode KA6 7EW. Use the ordinance survey map facility. The map goes to a nearby hamlet with that post code but follow south west along the road. There is a bridge over a stream then Bonnyton House is on the right of the road,

Friday night (28th) looks clouded out.
Saturday will go ahead. If cloudy with a photgraphic workshop with Roger Harman here at Bonnyton house starting at 8 pm. All are welcome.
Astrophotgraphy with the digital camera offers a fascinating opportunity to carry on with astronomy even when it is cloudy and it is very satisfying to get a nice picture.

Whatever the weather we'll be able to carry out some stacking, image editing and processing of previous captured images. It'll be good to run through the various processes to keep things fresh in our minds, and if any others wish to attend pass what we do know onto them.

Good stacking software: http://deepskystacker.free.fr/english/index.html

Tutorial for the above: http://flintstonestargazing.com/2009/06/26...acker-tutorial/

See you at 8pm Nick, Dave Tomkins will be coming along with me. cool.gif
