To get things rolling we are trying to organise a solar scope type day at Dean Castle this summer possibly on our own or better still when some other event is running.
We need volunteers and we also need solar observing related display equipment eg posters scopes spectometers and the like to make it an interesting stand. We also need some volunteers to man the stand. Let me know if you have any kit and or would be willing to turn up and help. The date is not yet fixed so we are looking for expressions of interest at the minute so as to relieve the usual suspects of all the effort |

I don't have any solar viewing equipment or much knowledge of solar viewing etc however if your looking for bodies it shouldn't be a problem for me to get to the event.
