matchmaker, matchmaker look through your book and make me a perfect match!

Hello, hello, good citizens of Antigua! (: So, being your ever-working admin, I've been putzing about the site for the better half of two hours, now, doing a little advertising, a little organizing, and starting up on some posts that I owe.

And then! it occurred to me how many wonderful characters there are on this site, and how many are without an RPing partner! At first I thought I would try and respond to as many open topics as humanly possible, but when I began to associate the work load with such a daunting task, I decided to look for a different solution... and, just like that, one came to me!

A matchmaking service. Not the traditional sort where I try and arrange marriages amongst socially equal families, of course, but an RP/plot matchmaking service. I know many of you have open want ads for specific characters, canon or otherwise, but why not play around with what we already have available?!

SO! IF you are interested, here's the lowdown:

Based on the characters which are signed up for the service, I will randomly select pairs. Each participant of the couple will be PM'd with notification of their new partner, and it is both of their duty to begin working out a plot. It can be as small or as grand as you both should like, of course, and the possibilities are endless! AND, if you both decide to do so, you may employ me for a bit of third party creativity... provided I have any ideas, of course! haha.

So, what say you? Would you use a service like this if it were available? If it worked and was popular, we could always expand to setting up plots between three or four or five people at a time!

I'm going to open up sign-ups for this now and see what kind of response I get. But if anyone has any comments or questions or ideas or suggestions, just toss them in there as well!
