Also what do you mean by Drifting? IS that some sort of bug because when I used to play it online all the rooms say "No Drifting".
I thought drifting was staying behind a car to get less wind resistance???
Or is that drafting??? Drifting = powersliding???

Well CRX's have been proven to be the fastest D and C class cars (after they have been tuned) so I used them :P As we moved up to the higher classes I used a bit of variety, including my Monaro's (Which I might add are REALLY slow in Forza!). Anyway out of 12 races I came first in all but 4 and 2 of those I didn't win because this NOOB guy rammed me every corner he could get the chance because of some hype in the Kai arena :P

Oh yeh and Drift is where you like slide around the corners on an angle. It's what rally cars do and if you have play NFS Underground 1 or 2 you will know what drifting is...

Drafting = Tailgating cars
Drifting = Powersliding around corners

I have NFS:U 1 and 2. Finished number 1 - pretty average game and hated number 2!!! I only played the first few missions and got bored!

We gotta play Forza again some day!! Gotta get more ANZ members to play too!!!

Nah, for me, the best racing game out there is... MARIOKART!!!!!!!! lol

But for Xbox... nothing beats the Burnout series, especially Revenge!

Super MArio Kart is still an all time classic.
All the other version doesn't do the name justice.

well, ive played em all forza, burnout, nfs, pgr, but it still remains that none of the racing games come close to the master Grand Turismo series, 4 is by far the bes imo.. :lol:

ps2 still owns in the racing and rpg genres all the way

And that is easily the Burnout series...

You CAN'T compare Burnout and Forza/GT4. Burnout is 100% fun and 0% realism, while Forza/GT4 is 1010% fun and about 90% realism. You can even turn in mid air on Burnout FFS! LOL.

Burnout is SOOO much more fun BECAUSE its unrealistic. Who CARES if it's unrealistic???

I reckon absolute carnage and mayhem far more fun the freaking driving without being allowed to crash once hahaha

Save the realism for ACTUAL drving... :P

I think i can get/build a Daytona USA 2 for about $1700. Need to bit of research.

i think racing games are sposed to be about realism and simulation at this point in the gaming lifespan, back in the mid 90s it was all about the speed, but now we have all this tech, i think the pyshics and motion engines making the cars do ALMOST exactly what they would in a real life situation is what should be..... think about it,. if u can master the laguna seca track in gt4 in a idunno, factory standard skyline, then if u were to get in one and actually race that track, u can safely say that ud know what to expect, (with in reason) :P

now thats racing.

yeh, the unrealistic games are all good still, but theres just no way that id classify them as 'racing' games anymore, just car games.
