If you enjoyed the tea party this past Banzai or didn't get the chance to join in and wanted too, then you'll be pleased to hear that my Studio will be hosting a Lolita Society Club Once (Or Twice) a month for those who are interested in seeing what the hub-bub is all about, mingling with seasoned lolita's and Dandys, OR just enjoying some fun Tea Parties and events.

We'll do everything from have outtings to tea parties and photoshoots to top them off!

You DO NOT have to have a Lolita Dress/Dandy outfit to want to join in, however, it would be nice if sometime !

I was wondering if anyone would be interested?

I would totally be up for this... too bad I live in Oregon. Though I'm moving to Utah soon-ish so if you get this going I'd love to join. ^^
Sounds like a Wonderful idea!

I don't cosplay or dress up, so this probably isn't something for me...

But if this proves successful, perhaps you could experiment with some other themes and maybe pull in a different audience.

@ Eric: Yea totally! Like a social of just cosplay-goodness where you're just in character. =)

@Sutie: I think we would have sooooooo much fun! I can't wait until you move down here!! =D

It'd feel almost like a highschool club, but more than just tea and educational movies...(I hated that in Drama club)

What do you mean by "educational movies"? Shimotsuma Story (US release: Kamikaze Girls)?

When I was in London on semester abroad, I hung out with the local Lolita community over there. They've created a "Tea Party Club," where they get together once or twice a month to have meetups--and tea doesn't always have to be involved!

Some of the most awesome meetups I've been to have involved going to movies in frilly wear or even going bowling. Is that what you have in mind? Just tea parties, month after month, can get a little bit dull. XD;

Actually, it isn't what I had in mind at all because I do know that repetitiveness can end things easily. That's why I said it would be more than just tea and educational films. :)
