After the party had ended, Jack had left Alexei with his parents and asked to borrow their car. They asked why, but the blond just said please and told them that he would explain later. Trusting their middle child, his mother gave him the keys to her sedan. The road he was taking was a familiar one. He’d driven it many times before his move to Russia, which had started out as temporary and turned into a fairly permanent one. The figure skater was glad to be back in the United States, though. Russia was all right, but it was not his home. He only hoped that his protégé-turned-son could handle it well enough. He’d only been in the States for a few hours, so it was only natural that he was a bit withdrawn. That would improve in time, especially with Sergei and Maskim coming next month, and Tatiana following when school ended.
After leaving the more middle-class area of town, Jack came into the richer area. Derek had inherited the house from is Uncle. After the twins and their sisters moved out, the five-bedroom house was no longer needed. With Derek inheriting the twins, his Aunt and Uncle gave him the house. Yes, gave it to him. Both being doctors, they were very well off and their new house was cheap. They knew that their nephew would need to redecorate among other things, so he’d end up spending a good amount of money re-doing the house. Besides, he would inherit it anyway when they passed. That, and he was going through school and trying to raise two kids, so they felt bad for him. It truly was a nice house, but then again, all of the houses in this part of town were. It was unavoidable.
His house growing had not been as nice though his parents were by or means poor. They had made a lot of sacrifices and had not counted on having five kids. Jack finally saw the house, and pulled into the driveway. It was later at night, so Kevin and Kayla would be home and dinner would be done. Derek was an excellent cook. The blond, on the other hand, was not. His lover – ex-lover, hopefully only temporarily now – had even go so far as to ban Jack from cooking. He was only to be in the kitchen to clean. Taking a deep breath, he got out of the car and walked up to the front door. Feeling nerves run through his body, he knocked on the door. Once Derek answered the door, he lifted up a pale hand to stop the gorgeous man from shutting the door in his face, as he knew he would for not wanting to see him.
“Look, please, Derek, just hear me out okay?” Jack pleaded with the man. “I know I hurt you, and for what it’s worth, I’m sorry, I…” Could he really explain his reasons. “I had to stay in Russia to train this kid, and I’m sorry that I hurt you to do it, I really am. It wasn’t for lacking of loving you, and I hope you never thought that for a second. I loved you then, I love you now, and I’ll love you until they day I die. I can’t expect you to forgive me, but I can only ask you to take me back and let me try. I will spend the rest of my life making this up to you, I promise.” His blue eyes shined with love, adoration, and pleading as he hoped that Derek would agree and slam the door on his fingers. He really didn’t know what else to do.

Derek heard the knock on the door, he was going to let one of the kids answer the door but he could not stop himself from going to the door first. They had just finished having dinner and the kids were doing the dishes, it was a fair chore for them to do because he did all of the cooking. When he opened the door he was in a shock of his life, there was the man that he had been in love with. The very blond that had left him to remain in Russia to train young figure skaters to compete. All he had gotten was a phone call to tell him the news, not even the guts to come all the way home to tell him face to face. He was about to slam the door closed right in his ex-lovers face, but a part of him was weak at the sight of him it felt that no time had passed between them to the dark haired man. A part of him wanted to just crush his body against the other part of him, while the other part of him just wanted to slam the door shut and go into his room to cry because the sight of him hurt that much.
Just thinking about the pain that Jack had put him through just made him want to slam his fist into the man standing before him. How dare he think that he could come over and not expect to at the very least get yelled at, it really did piss him off. It had been years that someone had been able to affect him this deeply. Ah he thought that he had known the depths of pain before but what he was feeling now nothing else could compare to it. To be so deeply torn between love and hate, passion and repulsion, it all felt the same to him. At that moment he did not know what to do besides just to stand there while a war of conflicting emotions erupted inside of him. He just did not know what course of action to take, but while he was trying to decide what to do it was a big mistake because it had given the blond time to talk.
Just hearing his voice was a gentle torture to him, he was asking to be taken back. Without a second thought he opened the door all of the way and just grabbed the front of Jack’s shirt and pressed his lips against the lovable blond in front of him. It was a hard firm kiss, nothing gentle about it because gentleness could wait. Right now was telling him who he belonged with. The dark haired man moved his lips back just a fraction so that he could talk.
“I have missed you, Jack. I swear if you do anything like that to me again I am coming after you if I have to drag your ass back home with me. Damn I still love you.” Derek told him right before he relaxed the grip on his future lover’s shirt so that he could put his arms around him to draw him closer to him. He pressed his lips against the blonds yet again this time in a gentle loving kiss.
Kayla had heard her Uncle Jack’s voice pleading with her dad. Wow the blond really did love her dad a lot, even after all that had happened. She remembered how heartbroken her dad was after his lover had left him and gave him a phone call that had sent him to bed where he had cried. But both of them had been hurt by Jack’s choice to stay in Russia to train that boy. A part of her wanted to just let her dad yell at his ex-lover, but the other part of her did not want to see her father be heartbroken again. But she did remember how happy they were together. And she liked to see Derek happy, because when he was angry well it was time to get the Hell out of his way. Jack could calm him down in almost no time flat, and that is one of the reasons why they worked so well together.
She had tried to give them both some privacy but the door was open so of course she could not help but to overhear what was being said. She was about to tell her dad to take him back when she walked up behind him and saw her father lay one on Jack. It was like a go Dad, because it seemed like her father was taking control of the situation for once. Because her dad did like it when his other half was in charge of situations, but this is a special case.
“Wow I guess that settles that. Um Dad, stop giving the neighbors a show. They know that you are gay already, they don’t need a reminder.” Kayla told them in her usual manner, she was like her dad in that way. “It’s been a while, Uncle Jack.”
Rachel - May 21, 2011 11:39 PM (GMT)
For a moment there, Jack thought that Derek was going to turn him down. That would have broken his heart. It would have been too painful to know that they were living in the same town, but that the gorgeous bad boy didn’t want anything to do with him. Of course, he was wrong, thankfully. Without warning, Derek grabbed the front of his shirt and kissed him roughly. The blond was pleasantly shocked; it was not the reaction he had expected, but then again, the dark-haired man had always been a more… physical being. He heard the threat loud and clear, but didn’t plan on leaving again anytime soon. “I love you, too,” he said, before returning the passionate kiss his lover was giving him. Wrapping his arms around Derek’s waist, he deepened the kiss. He heard Kayla’s voice in the background, but wasn’t registering what she was saying. He was more concerned about having the man he loved back.
It was then that Jack remembered that he’d left Alexei at his parent’s house. Derek saying that he would drag him back “home” clearly meant that he was moving back in, but the blond had forgotten about his charge. Breaking the kiss, he said, “I’m sorry, but I left Alexei back at my parent’s house. I need to go back, get my stuff, and get him.” The skater knew that he probably should mentioned earlier that he’d adopted a sixteen-year-old (or near sixteen), but he had forgotten about him momentarily. “I kind of was forced to adopt him. His mother died a couple of days ago. His father left when he was little, and he has no one else. His uncle had no interest in taking him, so when she died, she gave him to me in her will.” The ex-champion had a look on his face that said he hoped Derek wouldn’t chew him out when he got back.
“I’m sorry I didn’t tell you sooner, but I was kind of… distracted.” At the last word, he smiled at him and ran a finger down his cheek. Kissing him again briefly, he said, “I’ll be back soon.” With that, he said by to Kevin and Kayla who were behind Derek. The blond drove him, got Alexei and both of their stuff, explaining everything to his parents. “Look, I love him and he loves me, end of story. And Dad, I know you don’t approve, so shut up, because I didn’t care when we first got together, and I sure as hell don’t care when I’m 32 years old and old enough to do whatever I damn well please. Love you both.” He was tired of his father telling him how to live. What was it of his business anyway? None, that’s how much. Truth be told, his father was better than he used to be, but he knew he’d be happier if he was with a woman.
When they got back to Derek’s house and back inside, Jack introduce everyone to Alexei after kissing Derek. “Everyone, this is Alexei. Alexei, this is Derek, Kevin, and Kayla. He does speak English, and understand it, just so you know.”
Kevin heard the door open, and went to see what was going on. His sister was already standing there. At the door was his Uncle Jack, pleading with his dad to take him back – four years later. He wondered if his father would agree, because he could be very proud sometimes. Derek deserved to be happy, and even though he’d dated Brian and Mark – both ex-boyfriends that he still liked on some level – he loved Jack. No one made him happy like that, and luckily for Jack, Derek saw that and kissed him. His sister said everything that was on his mind, so the other twin stayed silent for now.
Jack left soon after to get Alexei, one of his students. Kevin knew that he should remembered who the teenager was, but his mind was going blank at the moment. He was just glad that his Uncle Jack was back together with his dad and all was well again. Soon, the older figure skater was back with a tall, blond Russian in tow, who was introduce to all in the room. It was then that Kevin knew where he should have remembered him. Obviously, the dark-haired boy kept up with the Junior ranks of figure skating just like the Senior. Jack’s oldest student was Michael’s rival, and the current Junior World Champion, along with Aura. Very skilled, he was passionate and technical, but not as artistic as Michael who was not as technicial.
“Hey, I know you,” Kevin said. “You’re Alexei Yevteushenko, you just won the Junior World title.” The young boy turned to the taller of the two blonds. “You’ve done good with him, Uncle Jack.” Walking up to him, the dark-haired preteen held out his hand. “Hey, nice to meet you. I’m a figure skater, too, although since I’m twelve, my sister and I wait until the next season to start competing.” He was coached by Jack’s old coach, Jonathan Adassner. Kayla was taught by Jack’s old training partner, Ashley Rodridguez. “We turn thirteen in June.” Alexei briefly said hi, but he was clearly uncomfortable with everything right now. Understandable, what with coming to a new country and all that. At least he spoke and understood English, right? "I'm glad you're in the Senior Grand Prix, cause I don't want to compete against you next year."
Aura Nosdod - June 9, 2011 03:28 AM (GMT)
Derek wanted nothing better to do then to snap at his daughter to mind her own business, he was having a moment. One that he wished would have lasted longer. He had heard that Jack had said, it was nice to know that he still loved. Time and distance did not change the most important thing in their relationship, and nothing could make him happier. What he heard next cooled him down a bit like pouring ice water on him. His past and now future lover broke the kiss to inform him about what had happened in his life.
Like most things it turned out that the blond took off before explaining everything. Well there was nothing to do but to go inside and wait on him to return. The dark haired man went to the couch in the living room and sat down. It was a gesture of his to run his right hand though his hair while he was thinking. So just to get things straight the blond figure skater had been left without a choice to adopt a teenager. The name Alexei dimly rang a bell in his mind; it was the boy that Jack had gone to Russia in the first place to train. That was the whole reason why he had stayed there and had broken things off between them. It was a bit to ask for, first he had forgiven the jerk for leaving him and letting him back into his heart. And now he had to deal with a teenager that was dealing with the loss of his main parent. Wow things were going to be fun from now on.
Derek could not help but to laugh a little bit, maybe he was close to snapping one could never tell. But this was a little too much so soon. Well now it meant that taking back his lover was now accepting a teenager into the house, and his twins were going to become teenagers this summer. Oh what fun having three moody teens in one house. And to think that he had never planned on having kids in the first place, but things happen for some twisted reason and the world kept on spinning. Taking a deep breath and holding it for a minute helped to center his thoughts. Well there was nothing to be done about this kid, only to hope that he could adjust to living with him and the twins. Well it would be a real pain in the ass if this Alexei was one to bump heads, he was sure that Kayla would not stand for that in the house. And it was not surprising that the dark haired girl took after him, she did have his temper unlike her more easy going brother.
Well what would be, would be as the saying went. Bottom line was that he wanted Jack back into his life and the kid was part of the deal. Hell the blond had to accept the twins as part of the deal if he wanted to be in his life. By the time that he had come to the realization the man that had torn his heart in two had returned with his adopted son. It was nice to know that he had not suffered from a daydream about what had happened, because that would have just a mean joke to play on himself. He could not help but to smile after Jack had kissed him, it made him feel complete. Of course he had to stand up so that it would not seem rude when they entered the house.
“Hello Alexei, I hope that you like living here. Of course you will not have to put up with Jack’s cooking; I doubt that it has improved any from the last time that I have seen him.” Derek could not help but to tell the young blond. As the typical sign of greeting he held out his hand to him.
Kayla had noticed how spaced out Derek was after Uncle Jack had left, it was just weird. She was so happy when he came back. The young girl could not help but to give Jack a big hug after he kissed her dad, it felt good to have him back. The best thing about the older blond was that he made her dad happy. Sure he could burn toast and has been kicked out of the kitchen for life, unless it was just to do dishes or take out the trash. But having her dad happy was number one, with a big smile on her face she let go of him and stepped back. She had laughed at what her dad had said, because it was true. Of course she could not help but to notice the hottie that was with him. She heard what Kevin had said about him, which just made her give him an impish smile. Thoughts of how Michael would react with having his rival living here, and training at the rink as well were too delicious.
“It’s great to have you back, Uncle Jack.” The short haired girl told him with a look of affection on her face. Because it was wonderful to know that there would be someone else here to take care of her dad and to love him in ways that her and her brother could not. She turned to the younger blond giving him a smile that was warm. “Wow Alexei, I’m sorry about my brother Kevin. He could talk your ear off if you let him. I know that our fellow rink mates will make you feel welcome. I guess on a technicality you are like an older adopted brother.”
The dark haired girl could not help but to be her blunt self, besides there was no use in hiding who you were. In the end it would all come out and people would have to decide whether or not to deal with you, it worked out better if you just faced things straight forward. It was a shame that her friend Aura could not get that. Of course that girl had always made her laugh, because sometimes she could cry so easily.
Rachel - June 20, 2011 04:58 AM (GMT)
Jack gave a warm and loving smile at Derek. The blond knew that this couldn’t be easy for him, after all, Alexei was the reason why he stayed in Russia. Sure, it was Evgeni that got him to go, but the teenager was the reason why he didn’t leave. The dark-haired man seemed to be making an effort as far as the young blond was concerned and that made the figure skater-turned-coach happy. It wasn’t as if he had expected him not to. After all, if the guitarist wanted him back, then the kid was part of the deal. That was how these things worked. Besides, it wasn’t as if there was anything that that either of them could about it. What was he supposed to have done, turn the kid away so he can be put in an orphanage? The blond had no idea what orphanages in Russia were like, but he wasn’t about to send his student there.
Jack turned his mind away from those thoughts and onto much better things. He could hardly believe that this was actually happening, that he was back in the States and back with the man he loved. It almost felt as if this was all some wonderful dream. Maybe he would wake up back on the plane coming back to the States, or even back to Russia. No, this had happened. He was home and now, Derek had taken him back with open arms. He was damn lucky that the gorgeous musician was still in love him, or he would have been up a creek without a paddle. The blond knew he was very lucky, but it was realistic that the dark-haired man would no longer feel the same about him after everything that had happened.
When Kayla came up and hugged him, Jack could not help but hug the preteen back. “My god, girl, when did you get so tall,” he told her. She had to be about five six or five seven, of course, both her parents had been tall. Height ran in Derek’s family, always had. His grandfather was six foot seven, after all. Peter, Kevin and Kayla’s dad, had been the same height as him, so it was a fair bet that Kevin would be just as tall, although the chances of his sister growing anymore were unlikely. She was almost thirteen, after all. “It’s good to be back, too, kiddo.” Unwrapping his arms from her, he went over to hug her twin brother. He knew boys were not as affectionate, but Kevin was very patient as far as that was concerned. Growing up in a house with two gay guys had made him more sensitive than most guys, even though he was straight.
That made Jack wonder how Derek was gay in a family full of straight guys. It had been proven that as far as men were concerned, being gay was genetic. His father and grandfather were both straight, and his only uncle James, was, too. James was his cousin Peter’s father, and Kevin and Kayla’s grandfather. Derek’s twin brother, Jason, was straight, too, was unusual as they were identical twins in every other way, and identical twins were supposed to have the same genes. Of course, that had happened before. He’d seen an atrial online about some show on 60 minutes about a set of twins, Greg who was gay and Steve who was straight. Hell, he knew two set of them – Derek and Jason, followed by Michael and Max. Eh, none of this was important right now. There were far better things to think about right now.
Walking over to Derek again, Jack gave him a deep, passionate kiss, just for the hell of it.
Alexei smiled at Kevin. It was nice that he knew who he was, but that was only common sense. He knew that the dark-haired kid was just trying to make him feel welcome, and he honestly did appreciate it. “Hello,” he told everyone. “Thank you.” He was still uncomfortable, and being around so many people who knew no Russian made him feel like an outsider. Of course, he was – he was a foreigner. Derek made a crack about Jack’s cooking which caused the blond to chuckle a little. “I would not know; he never cooked for me. My mother did.” Thoughts of his mother made a wave of sadness wash over him. He quickly pushed it out of his mind as Kayla began to speak, mentioning their rink mates. She also mentioned how he was like an older adopted brother to them. Well, that was true, wasn’t it? His mind kept going to back to rink mates, though, one in particular, his on-ice rival, Michael Anderson.
Alexei had never failed to notice the way his heart raced whenever he thought about him, or how he was always on his mind. It kind of hard for him not to be thinking about Michael, since they were rivals on the ice. The way he felt about him didn’t help matters, either. The blond remembered when they first, it was at a Junior Grand Prix event in Great Britain, a first for both of them. It had been innocent. Michael had been leaving his warm up, and Alexei had been beginning his. He’d caught the brunet’s eye, and he’d immediately come up to him and began to talk to him. At the time, the blond just thought the American boy was being friendly; later, he know that he was flirting, although at the time, he wasn’t sure either of them realized it. Unfortunately, Alexei’s knowledge of English was limited. Jack had been his coach for about a year, and his English was limited to basic words and phrases along with skating terms.
The conversation was over quickly once Michael realized Alexei couldn’t really talk to him. That night, Alexei had asked him to help him learn more English. His coach told him to enroll in English in school, but he was already going with another language, and if he cut off and switched to a different language, his mother might think that was odd. Every time they saw each other that year, the American would wave and say hi. The blond had to say hi back. He was aware that he was infatuated with the cute American, so he went out and got himself a girlfriend, Sofia. She was nice, and sweet. They did a lot of kissing, and some touching, but he wasn’t really interested, so they broke up after about three months. The next year, Alexei’s English was a little better, but he and Michael still could only do basic communication. He knew his infatuation was growing, so he got himself another girlfriend. This time, her name was Ekaterina. It lasted about three months, as well, before they broke up.
This year, his English was pretty decent, though reading was not all that great. He enrolled in English after finishing a few years of German. Now, he had no idea why he took German and didn’t remember any of it. He was wrapped up in English now. He was more than aware that his feelings for the American were a full blown crush, so he went out and got himself another girlfriend. With his English, he and Michael were able to talk more. He was well aware now that they were flirting with each other. The two exchanged phone numbers, though calling was out of the question as it was too expensive, and e-mail addresses. He e-mailed Michael whenever possible, though he was sure they were not that easy to understand. His girlfriend’s name was Lidiya. She was pretty, though somewhat annoying at times.
Lidiya and Alexei dated for about five months. It went well… very well. In fact, the two of them slept together a few times. The blond couldn’t lie to her anymore, making her think that it was going somewhere when it wasn’t. He couldn’t commit to her because he had a huge crush on Michael. Not telling her that, the figure skater just broke up with her. Eventually, Lidiya figured out that something else had to be wrong, because they had gotten along so great. So, he told her to the truth, and begged for her to understand, because he himself didn’t. She didn’t, at first, but she came around. They had just recently begun talking again. It was nice to be friends with her; he was not friends with Sofia and Ekaterina. It was innocent, because she knew how he felt about Michael. Every time he thought about him or was around him he heard his mother’s voice telling him that she didn’t care if people were gay, but she didn’t want to know anything about it. He also heard his uncle’s voice saying that it was wrong and immoral.
Sighing, Alexei tried to get it out of his mind, so he concentrated on the house. It was much larger than what he was used to. Houses in Russia were not this large unless you were very, very rich. This whole town seemed to be made up of very nice houses, although from what Jack had told him that was just how things were. He was used to smaller houses and apartments in Russia, but here in America, things were bigger. It was just things went. He would have to take a look around, but from what he had heard from Jack before, there was technology here that he wouldn’t be used to. Luckily, he wouldn’t have to worry about cooking anyway, so that wasn’t a big deal there. What else was there to talk about? He wasn’t sure, because his mind was still on Michael. “This is a very nice house,” he said, hoping that he wasn’t seeming rude or anything.
Aura Nosdod - December 6, 2011 12:41 AM (GMT)
Derek was just floating on a cloud of happiness; there was no way that things could get any better. Sure there would be a teenage boy in the house and for the fact that he had a daughter made him just a little worried, besides he was younger then she is when he first started to get interested in people for certain reasons. But he would have to talk to Jack about that later after they became fully ‘acquainted’ with each other again. But for now he was willing just to enjoy the moment for what it was, when he set eyes on the younger blond he knew that there would be no problem of him getting a date with anyone. He was glad that his twins were happy to have Jack back in their lives as well, and as Kayla put it they now had an older adopted brother. He was glad to hear those words because that meant that there would be less of a chance that he had to worry about his daughter.
When Jack kissed him deeply he could not help but to respond, oh he wanted to blond so much that just for a moment he almost forgot about the kids. But of course he had to make sure that they got a room ready for his former lover’s or was it soon to be future lover’s adopted son. It just did not matter because in his heart the way he felt about the blond had never changed despite their time apart. The dark haired man smiled down at the young blond, to a point he had an idea of how he felt about the situation and in the young man’s shoes he would want a bit of time to himself. He would do what most parents have done throughout history get their kids to help out so that they could have things together in short order. Luckily it was just a guestroom and all that needed to be done was to get the kids’ stuff in the room and let him unpack. When he heard the accented words out of the newest addition to the family he was a little surprised because he did not know that the young blond knew English.
“Thank you, Alexi. I hope that you will be able to think of this house as your home, do you need any help with your things?” The dark haired man asked, because he was sure that it would be a lot quicker to get his and Jack’s stuff in if everyone went outside and got it. Besides there was school tomorrow for the kids, and he had to make sure that Jack filled out everything right. “I am sure that you would like to get settled into your new room. Did you two eat dinner yet? Knowing Jack he probably has only been giving you junk food to eat.”
Derek could not help but to make a small joke at the lovable blonds expense, because he knew that he would be forgiven for that small jab. Besides if he was fixing food then he could use that time to tame his thoughts before the kids went to bed.

OOC: Will post as Jack tomorrow.
Derek seemed nice enough, but this situation would take some getting used to – a lot of getting used to. His mom used to work two jobs to support his skating, so she was never home. The teen had pretty much all of his time to himself, which he spent between schoolwork to skating. He did all right for himself, and as long as his grades didn’t slip and his skating was going well, his mom didn’t say anything other than words of encouragement. Sadness gripped his heart as he thought of his mother, but then remembered that Derek had spoken to him. “No, thank you.” With that, he turned and went to get his stuff, taking in as much as he could. He really didn’t have all that much, not as much as one would think for being almost sixteen, but, hey, he had more than enough for what he needed.
Alexei was honestly sorry if he was acting too withdrawn, but he didn’t care right now. This was a lot to happen so quickly. He went from such a high to lower than he ever thought it was possible to feel. First, he won the Junior World title, and then he found out that his mother had died and had to go back before the Exhibitions. It was a lot to take in at once, and of course, it didn’t help that his uncle didn’t want him, but then again, he couldn’t blame him. He had been married once, but he didn’t really want children. He didn’t like them, and he didn’t want to have to raise one – even for two years. Jack was willing to take him, but if he didn’t want to, he didn’t want to feel like a burden.
Alexei just laid on the bed, not caring if his stuff was unpacked or not. It seemed weird to unpack the suitcases, but then again, he didn’t need them anymore until next season, right? That was true, but a part of him didn’t want to unpack. Why would that be, did it seem too final? It didn’t matter right now, and the blond just decided to lie down on the bed on his side, facing the wall. He was in a country whose language he wasn’t too familiar with, with a coach who may or may not want him, with people who may or may not want him around. He didn’t cry, in fact, he hadn’t once since he found out his mother died. He wasn’t sure why, and he didn’t care right now.
It was then that Jack came in, asking him if he was okay, in Russian, which was comforting, actually. Alexei knew that his coach saw that nothing had been unpacked yet, but he didn’t say anything. “Kharahshow,” he responded, saying that he was fine. Jack prodded, and Alexei looked up at him. “Really,” he said in English. Jack told him how things were going to be – complicated, with Jack being both his guardian and coach. If he wanted to do a tryout with Jonathan, he would understand. “No, you are right coach for career. I want to sleep.” With that, Jack told him goodnight in Russian and then left him alone. He wasn’t sure what he was going to do, but there was nothing to be done right now.

OOC: Godmoding done with permission, and did I say tomorrow? o.O
Jack had never been so glad for early bed times. A figure skater had to go to bed early, because training was early in the morning. The blond was well aware that that applied to him, too, but he was also not a teenager anymore. He also had just gotten back together with the love his life, and planned to take full advantage of that situation. After the kids were in bed, it was time for both of them to go to bed as well. His dark-haired lover didn’t have to get up early, but it didn’t take a genius to realize that the kids were in bed, you two haven’t seen each other for four years… Yeah, they were ready to catch up for lost time. He had four years away to make for, and he planned to do just that.
They were only now, and Jack couldn’t contain himself. He remembered this bed all too well, and everything that had transpired in it. Turning towards Derek, the blond pressed his lips firmly against his lover’s, and began kissing him with four years of pent up passion and sexual tension. The skater had missed the guitarist more than he could ever put into words, and if the dark-haired man doubted him, he wouldn’t for long. Pushing him back against the bed, the shorter man – as Derek was two inches taller, not much, but it was something – and straddled his hips. He knew he should take it slow, he was almost thirty-two years not, not a hormone-enraged teenager. Then again, it had been four years since he’d kissed him, felt his body underneath is. It was too much.
Jack ran one of his hands down Derek’s chest, noting the difference in color. Derek was tan from head to foot. Jack was a natural blond, and therefore a lot paler. The difference was striking almost when you realized how different they were looks wise, other than the similarity in height. It’s what he loved about him so much. The man was drop-dead gorgeous, and always took the skater’s breath way. Moving his lips down to the singer’s neck, he moved his hand to the other man’s hips. He was getting more aroused by the second, and wasn’t sure he much longer he could drag this out. Running his hands along every inch of his lover’s body he could get his hands, running kiss down his chest.
The rest of the night was a flash of limbs and lips, two lover’s bodies entwined in a dance as old as time itself. Jack would remember every moment of it, though it didn’t last as long as he wanted it to. He would have stayed up all night making love to Derek, but he had a life – he had to be at the rink early in the morning, and it won’t due to be awake all night making love to your partner. Damn, life sucks sometimes. He did stay up a little later than he should have. He just couldn’t help himself. The feel of his the guitarist’s body, in even better shape now than when they first met, who gave a damn if he was turning thirty in a few weeks. Jack loved him even more than he used to, and would until the day he did.

Derek had enjoyed every moment from the time that the kids went to bed and he was behind the closed bedroom door with the man that he loved. The feeling of his hands and lips on his body was pure bliss, and the level of their passion had not diminished during the past four years that they have been apart. The feeling of his old lovers lips brought back so many memories and the feeling of those lips on his neck made his breath come out in a gasp. There is nothing that he would not do to feel those lips on his again and those hands running though his hair. Sure his lover was a little shorter than himself, but that did not matter to him. The only thing that mattered to him was that his lover wanted him as badly as he wanted him.
The dark haired man wished that the night could have lasted forever, but like all good things it had to end. The only thing that made him smile as he drifted off to sleep was the comforting thought that this would happen again tomorrow night. It was a shame that the attractive light skinned man had to get up early to go to work. But at least he could lie next to him and feel his warmth to reassure himself that this was not some wonderful dream. He just hoped that he would not wake up to the house burning down because his lover had decided to cook on the stove, or burn some toast. With that thought the dark haired man fell asleep next to the person that he has been in love with for years.
