Wan-Fu is a monk from Kara-Tur. He's a big strong guy, cheerful and filled with wisdom...and food. He does love to eat. Luckily he's quite good at fighting as well, so he can prove some use to the Bhaalspawn. Don't expect lots of dark and seriously grim and painful moments with this guy.

I like the idea. He sounds quite entertaining :) I can imagine some interesting banters with Yoshimo - perhaps on the high points of Kara-Turan cuisine :)

Wan-Fu: You should eat more, scrawny one. There is barely any meat on your bones!
Yoshimo: I have enough meat where it counts, thank you. My profession does not allow for any extra weight. It is hard to sneak up to one's target when they can hear footsteps quake the ground, and a belly slap against thighs.
Wan-Fu: You ronin are funny folk. Why not simply jump and land on your opponent? It has worked for me so far! Huyhuyhuy! (he laughs)
Yoshimo: I am afraid you are far more skilled in such practices than I. We are all glad to have you on our side.

Wan-Fu: What are you cooking? I could eat an ogre!
Yoshimo: I hope you jest, my large friend. As for my cooking, does this not remind you of home?
Wan-Fu: Yes it does. Daiteriyaki?
Yoshimo: An improvised version, but yes.
Wan-Fu: Are those grubs?
Yoshimo: Yes. I said it was improvised. I have not managed to catch a rabbit what with your...loud presence.
Wan-Fu: (laughs) It does not matter! Save four bowls for me!
Yoshimo: Then I suppose the rest of us will be chewing twigs tonight. (sigh)

Its especially hilarious because he looks so much like one of my uncles! :D

I think his dialogue with Jaheira or Anomen would be really entertaining since they're both all about discipline and neither one is as tolerant as say, Keldorn or Cernd.

I like the thought of having a huge, good-natured, big brother type of character. I always wished that Minsc had more of that kind of relationship with the PC, as opposed to baby-sitting Aerie or Nalia... It discrimination, damn it! I RP mages too! :angry:

Aww. Yeah, I agree. Well there's always the option of modding Minsc to give him a different relationship with the PC. And there's Wan-Fu up for the job as well. Two of them together... let's hope they don't hug your PC...too hard.
