Do you need a sibling for your character? Maybe a boy/girl friend? Then come on over here and make a board to request one. People can come here to reply and find characters they could play if they are having a hard time thinking of one.
Also, you can come here to request a roleplay. Maybe you have a thread open and you'd like someone to reply. You could have thought of a brilliant sub-plot, but don't have people to roleplay it out with. This is the place to search.

the dungeons & sub-levels.
Under Hogwarts, like all castles, lie the dungeons & sub-levels. To get to the dungeons, take the narrow stone staircase form the Entrance Hall. There you'll find the corridor that leads to the Potion Master's office, classroom, & private store room are located, as well as the dormitories & common room of the Slytherin House. Now there's another staircase to the right of the Entrance Hall. Follow that you'll find yourself headed towards the kitchens or the dormitories & common room of the Hufflepuff House.

the ground floor.
Enter the castle through the double oak front doors where two suits of armor are ready to greet you. Straight ahead would be the marble staircase leading to the first floor. On either sides of that staircase are doors that lead down to either the dungeons or basement, depending on which you go through. To the right wall, there is another set of doors leading to the Great Hall. To the corner of that wall is a smaller door which is the broom closet. On the other side of the Entrance Hall, of course, is yet another door that leads to an antechamber or perhaps more classrooms(including classroom eleven) and a door to the courtyard.

the first floor.
Perhaps the most frequently visited floor of those constantly injured, the first floor is the location of the infamous Hospital Wing. Then again, who needs a place like that with all the beds when you can sleep in one of your classes here where Professor Binns just drones on & on about the History of Magic. Or maybe you need to know about the muggle world? The Muggle Studies classroom is here as well. And when you get in trouble with the Deputy Headmistress? I bet you just adore this floor, seeing as this is where her office is. As for the one subject most seem to love, here is the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom.

There really isn't much to see on this particular floor. There's a stone Gargoyle, of course. Oh, there's the Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor's office is here as well. Maybe the only other place would be an out of order bathroom, home to one of Hogwarts lingering ghosts. Yes, kiddies, you guessed it: Moaning Myrtle's bathroom. So, really, don't linger around this floor too much or that suit of armor near the DADA professor's office just may come alive & he doesn't seem too friendly.

the third floor.
Classes are spread through the castle on different sections or floors. Here, on the third floor, is the Charms classroom where it is taught by Professor Flitwick. If classes aren't your intention on this floor, then perhaps it's the trophy room to look for familiar names. Adjacent to that room is the Armor Gallery. Quite an interesting place, really. Other than those and the statue of a humpbacked witch, there really isn't much else to see on the third floor.

Ah. . .the floor that mostly remains quiet. And for good reason, too. Madam Pince is quite a scary lady when she's trying to get everyone to simply shut their traps so those good students can study. It is, after all, the floor that contains the library, which she considers her turf. If not that, then perhaps, if you're a prefect, you want a nice long bath away from the annoying & crazy students of your house? Well, then, you're on the wrong floor, kid. The bathrooms are for everyone on this floor.

Okay, so, you know how we said that the prefects' bathroom wasn't on the fourth floor? Well, we weren't lying. Instead, they're located on the fifth floor. It's probably the only used room up here & rather gloomy as well. There isn't much, but this year, a new addition to the floor is the Dursmtrang Quarters. Follow the corridor with the statue of Boris the Bewildered one way, you may end up on the shortest route to the Gryffindor tower. Now, go the opposite way & you're headed for the fourth floor again.

the sixth floor.
This floor is basically empty. No classes or anything much here. The walls are dimly lit by torches on either sides of corridors, though there are quite a few random paintings & statues scattered about. Well, there are more bathrooms up here as well as a staircase leading up to the seventh floor.

Now here's the top floor of the castle. There isn't much up here as well. Sure, there's the entrance to the Gryffindor & North towers. Oh, and there's Professor's Flitwick's office and the Divination classroom. As for the Room of Requirement? Well, it's hidden up here as well.

Every castle has towers, right? Right. Hogwarts is really no different. The tallest of its towers would have to be the Astronomy Tower, where -obviously- Astronomy classes are held. The headmaster's office & residence is located in yet another tower of the castle. The North tower? That's where the Divination professor resides. &the West tower, of course, contains the hundreds of owls belonging to the students & staff in the owlery. Let's not forget the Gryffindor & Ravenclaw dormitories& common rooms located in their respective towers.

We're pretty sure everyone is quite familiar with the Hogwarts grounds, correct? The Forbidden Forest is, of course, forbidden to everyone. Hagrid's hut lies at the edge of the forest so don't even try sneaking through. The half-giant might find you & you really won't like the consequences. Other than that, there's the greenhouses where Herbology takes place. The whomping willow won't hesitate to 'whomp' you so do watch out for that. Everyone knows about the lake where the giant squid & a colony of merpeople live. Don't swim in the water, kids. You don't know what else is down there. And, last, the ever popular Quidditch pitch.

hogsmeade.
Hogsmeade is the only entirely wizarding village in Britain. It's a picturesque village of little thatched cottages and shops. During the holiday season, enchanted candles hang in the trees. Hogwarts is located quite near the village; a road runs around the school grounds to Hogsmeade Station, where the Hogwarts Express stops to disembark the students at the start of term. According to tradition, Hogsmeade was founded about the same time as Hogwarts by Hengist of Woodcroft, who was fleeing persecution by Muggles.

diagon alley.
Behind the Leaky Cauldron, as all wizards & witches should know, is a brick wall. Tap the right combination and an archway will open, leading straight to Diagon Alley, a long cobbled street where is to be found a strange & exciting assortment of shops & restaurants, some of which have tables outside with brightly colored umbrellas. Diagon Alley is fairly large, accommodating an abundant number of shops of many varieties, including Olivanders, Gringotts Wizarding Bank, and Flourish & Blotts. Of course, with so many shops to visit, witches & wizards from all over Britain can spend the day shopping here. Given, of course, that they are on break.

knockturn alley.
Knockturn Alley is a dingy alleyway where the shops are devoted to Dark Arts items. The alley is connected to Diagon Alley near Gringotts. Leading off of the more savoury Diagon Alley, Knockturn Alley is a dark and seedy alleyway in London to which muggles have no access, and which is frequented largely by Dark Wizards. Many of the shops in Knockturn Alley are devoted to the Dark Arts; the most notable is Borgin & Burkes, which sells sinister and dangerous objects. There are stores selling shrunken heads, live gigantic black spiders, and poisonous candles. Street vendors include an old witch with a tray full of whole human fingernails.

ministry of magic.
What not too many may or may not know would be the fact that the headquarters for the Ministry of Magic is located right at the heart of London, perhaps a few blocks away from the Leaky Cauldron. The actual building or structure, whatever you wish to call it, is actually underground, away from muggle streets & buildings. Of course, that certainly doesn't mean that the walls are blank. Definitely not. Along some of the walls are windows that can be charmed to be the particular weather the Magical Maintenance has chosen for the day.

the riddle house.
The Riddle House is located in the village of Little Hangleton, and was at one time the finest house in the village. Amongst their neighbours was the "town tramp", Marvolo Gaunt, and his two children, Morfin and Merope.
Here is where the Death Eaters' headquarters could be found. The house is now empty of any people besides the Dark Lord and Death Eaters when there is a meeting being held. The house is large and grand, or well at least it once was. Now, it has been let go to waste. The house seems to slightly lean to the right when one looks at it. It is usually dark, though one might see a flickering of light somewhere inside from time to time. No one seems to get in or out of the house, or at least no one sees. Behind the house is a vast back yard with an old grave yard that holds the bodies of the Riddle family. The back yard is mostly hidden behind large evergreen shrubs. Dead trees serve as the outdoor decor of the yard. The center is empty, just grass. This is where the Death Eater circle can be found whenever meetings are held, the Dark Lord taking his place in the center.
