Height & Weight 5'8" and between 119-130 lbs depending on how much exercise and junk food she's had recently.

She has bright blue eyes often lined with Kohl and with long lashes which are themselves often covered with mascara.
Her face is a soft oval and her eyebrows have been plucked in to high arches.
The full lips form a perpetual pout which she thinks looks stupid, and her straight hair which when down flows to the middle of her back tends to be a different colour every fortnight; if you asked her, she'd say her hair was a dark brown under the hair dye, through it's been rather a while since she last saw that shade when she looked in the mirror. She tends to fiddle with her hair, with the result that she often has small braids in it which occasionally she decorates with beads or feathers.
Tall is a matter of perspective, and so Merlin, who is used to being towered over by her brothers, doesn't think that five foot eight is anything special.
With an curvy, almost perfectly hourglass figure, when she dresses up she goes all most all the way, wearing floor length dresses that show off her small waist. She can pull off elegant and sophisticated; after all, no one can see the knee high biker boots on her feet.
Most of the time, however, it's black jeans and a t-shirt; it's practical, it's comfortable, and anyone trying to tell her she should wear pastels because they're in fashion at the moment will either be sworn at or mocked.
And sometimes she's wearing leather armour as she attempts to hit people with a sword.

Born in the southern city of Dunedin in New Zealand, Merlin was named after a great aunt. She was a healthy infant, and halfway through her fourth year of life she began her formal education at Columbia College, the sort of private school where students learned to walk across a room with books on their heads.
When she was ten, her parents, both lawyers, received job offers in Auckland and the family packed up and moved to the warmer northern city, meaning new schools and new friends. Meeting a different social culture for the first time in her life, Merlin - despite being teased about her name - soon fit in and made new friends, learning to hold her own in scuffles at school and soon fit in with the other 'Westie' kids to her mothers' dismay. When she was twelve, her father shattered his pelvis in a horse riding accident while at her pony club, resulting in a series of long hospital stays for him. It was while visiting her father at the hospital that Merlin decided she wanted to be a doctor, and that was that. She started learning everything she could about biology, only realising in High School that chemistry would also be useful for her intended career.
At the age of 14 she fell in love for the first time, with an American exchange student called Greg
Set her heart on studying in New York.
