__RULES;
o1. The first and foremost rule on our board is to be mature. The admins here will not tolerate immature behavior from any of our members, end of story.
o2. If you're signing up as a canon character, you are required to be active. Without active canons, our board will not be able to flourish. Three canon characters per role-player unless given the permission by an Admin directly--any others you'd like to play will be original characters. The character limit is FOUR, but that's pushing it. And if we have an abundance of preppy 17 year old girls, I'll punch someone in the face. If you can no longer play your character, PLEASE contact me. Your character ratio must be equal, such as if you had a female character, you would have to make a male character before making another female.
o2B. Please make your characters original. Everyone loves a rebel, but having everyone rebelling against everything or loves absolutely everyone. We want to see some creativity here! There are no perfect characters, contrary to popular belief. So I don't want to see them.
o3. When registering, please register with your character's first and last name. Examples: "Lucas Scott" or "Haley James - Scott", and not "iluvluke4eva". Nope. Not gonna cut it. If you spell the name wrong, I will be more than happy to correct it for you, but other than that.. If you are applying for a canon and someone already has registered with that name, just place an underscore after the last letter.
o4. Posts should be made in third person, and should be of substance of at LEAST a paragraph (6-9 sentences). This is really not that hard, and makes it easier on everyone else. Lengthy posts make a role-play move along easier. Use your senses to explain what's going on. Writer's block is no excuse, so I don't want to hear it. It happens, but posting shouldn't be THAT hard for you.
o5. No chatspeak. No spamming. No isms.
o6. To apply, you must be over 14. This site is mature, and there will be mature situations. We don't want to see these situations all over the place, but it will happen. Please place a little "[M]" warning somewhere in your topic to warn everyone.
o7. Graphics are allowed on the board. Signatures MUST be under 500x300. Avatars are 100x100. I will allow 2 rows of three icons or one row of four, but if it stretches the page, I will scream. Please link your character profile and plotting page in your signature. If you need graphic help, I will be more than happy to oblige. Please make them pretty to look at.
o8. Keep OOC drama out of the role-play, or I'll beat you, simple as that.
o9. You must have an entrance post for your character at least one week within being accepted. If not, we'll move your character to Inactive, and you don't want that.
10. Try and use proper grammar. Really. Its not that hard. Also, spelling. I will allow a few misspelled words, but if is happening in every other post, three strikes and your out. If you have a hard time spelling, run EVERY post through a spell-checking program. There are hundreds online and Microsoft word has one.
Admin reserve the right to alter these rules at anytime.
I am an easy going admin, I allow a great deal of leeway with my rules and such. This doesn't mean that I allow you to stomp all over me. There are certain things that I take very seriously, such as signature sizes and being a god in your role-play. As long as you don't break either of those rules i'll be happy and as nice as can be. I hope that you enjoy your time here with everyone and have a great time.
