[Chase Adams]

Chase's eyes fluttered open as rays of sunshine started to come down from the window by their bed. He opened his eyes fully and saw Brooke lying beside him, still asleep. Chase smiled. He was the luckiest guy on the planet. He had never been so happy as when he is with Brooke. They had made it through everything and they were still together, after four years. The only difference now was that they were living together. Chase loved waking up every morning and seeing his beautiful girlfriend beside him. He wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. He wanted to wake up beside her every morning of his life. Chase wouldn't know what to do if he hadn't met Brooke. Hell, if he hadn't he would probably still be a virgin and would be the next star of The Fourty Year Old Virgin.

Chase wrapped his arms around Brooke and leaned over to kiss her on the cheek. He smiled as he watched her. The rays on sunshine were now on her face and she looked so peaceful. Today was going to be a good day. Chase could already tell.

Brooke loved waking up with Chase next to her moving in with him was probably the best thing that'd ever happened to her. She did find it a little creepy when he'd look at her while she slept but she figured e wouldn't give up on that no matter how much she bitched about it. Brooke smiled as she felt him kiss her on the cheek and opened her eyes. She knew Chase was the guy for her which was kind of scary because thats what she used to think of Lucas and look how well that turned out but it was different with Chase. For one Chase didn't want to kiss Peyton and Brooke felt she'd gotten so much more out of being with Chase than she ever had with anyone else, she wouldn't trade their relationship for the world.

It was true they had a hard time being together the first year but made it through all of the drama and now four years later they were still happy together which meant a lot to Brooke "Hey you" She said to him with a smile on her face. Brooke couldn't help but kiss him liightly on the lips everything was perfect and she could stay like this forever. She didn't have to look out the window to know that it looked perfect outside and she planned on taking advantage of the good weather.

Brooke moving in with him was one of the best things that had ever happened to him. He loved living with her and it got them ready for whatever happened next. If they got married, then the experience of living together would help them in the long run. Chase knew that it creeped Brooke out when he watched her sleeping, but he wouldn't give it up. She just looked so peaceful and calm. Chase knew that Brooke was the only girl for him. That's what he said about Sarah his junior year, but that was thrown out the window when he found her cheating on him with her best friend. That's one of the reasons why Chase and Brooke found each other. They were both bound together by heartbreak from their relationships before each other.

Chase watched as Brooke opened her eyes and he smiled at her. He turned so that he was looking at her and into her eyes. She kissed Brooke back softly on the lips and he interlaced their hands together. "Hey you," he said. "How'd you sleep?" he asked her with a smile. Chase felt perfect in this moment and could stay like this forever. He could tell this was going to be a beautiful day and he was going to spend it with the most beautiful girl in the world.

Living with Chase was sort of preparing then for the future in some way. If they'd ever wanted to pull a naley and get married or something then Brooke would know that he wasn't some type of a nasty pig or anything like that. Actually Chase was probably more organized than she was but then again so was the rest of Tree Hill. She looked at im and dshrugged her shoulders a bit "I slept alright until I had this weird dream where my boyfriend was watching me sleep in that creepy way that he does" Brooke said sarcastically. "But then I woke up and it wasn't a dream" She shook her head and lauged a little.

Today would have been the best day to call Peyton and work on the fashion line Brooke knew that but she was sort of stalling on that again plus she hadn't talked to her in a long time. Instead she'd just wanted to spend a little time with Chase, the summer had just started and they hadn't really spent anytime together. Well the whole purpose was to spend some time with her friends before 'the real world' but she figured they wouldn't miss her for a day right? She wanted to be with her boyfriend "So tell me, what are we doing today?" Brooke asked with a smirk on her face.

Living together was the best way to prepare them for the future. It let them know each others' habits and how the other lived. Brooke was a tiny bit messy, but Chase could live with that. He was not a clean freak or anything, but he was pretty organized. When he was growing up, his room would always be pretty clean. Now was no different. He liked everything to have it's own place. Chase's smile grew at Brooke's statement. He laughed. "Ha ha..very funny," he teased with a gentle laugh. He couldn't help it.

It was the beginning of summer and this was really the last summer that they had before they had to go into the 'real world' as they called it. He could remember the night four years ago when they all went to the Rivercourt and all wrote their names on the court and just had a good time with each other. There had been the girls against boys basketball game and of course, Lucas and Nathan's one-on-one rematch. He knew that Brooke was working with Peyton on her fashion line and she would want to spend time with her friends with summer. However, he wanted her to himself for the day. He just wanted to spend time with his girlfriend. Chase took a deep breath. "Ahhhh, I don't know. You tell me what we're doing today," he told Brooke. Chase wanted Brooke to be able to do whatever she wanted them to do today. It was her choice.

Brooke smiled at him, she knew that he wasn't trying to be weird or anything but it was just fun to tease him about it then she'd be the one getting annoyed whenever she'd wake up to see him awake and holding on to her. If you really thought about it what he did was kind of sweet and she secretly didn't want him to stop, she'd felt safe whenever he was with her. "Yeah I know it was" She leaned in and kissed him again to let him know that she'd only been joking around.

She thought about it for a while, this was actually the first time Brooke didn't care about what they did. Well she wasn't about to go do any weird guy stuff that Chase enjoyed but she'd do anything else as long as it was with him "Um lets just stay here a little longer" She said to him, Brooke loved that he was willing to do whatever she wanted but morning was er favorite part of the day and she didn't want it to be over yet. She sighed "Then Maybe later we can go out and fight or something." Se said hopefully kidding around. She didn't want to start fighting wit him but when they would fight it would be about something stupid and they'd make up in like a second, but they'd really really make up.

Chase knew that he probably creeped her out by watching her when she slept, however it all in good nature. All he wanted to do was protect her. Chase didn't have the body like a Lucas or Nathan who you could just curl up with and feel safe in their arms. Chase didn't exactly look like the guy who would get in a knock-out, drag-out fight to defend a girl's honor. But he did if he really loved a girl, and he did love Brooke. All he wanted to do was protect her from all the evil in the world. Chase smiled as Brooke kissed him back to show that she was just joking. "You are a funny girl..," he teased again as he kissed her hand.

Chase didn't care what they did, he just wanted to be with his girlfriend. He would enjoy just laying here in bed with her and cuddling. This was his favorite part of day, anyway. He had always been a morning person and he loved just waking up with Brooke. Chase nodded as she said that they should just stay here a while longer. "Sounds awesome to me...," he said softly. He chuckled. "Hmm, but then we could make up," he said. Chase and Brooke didn't fight very often, but when they did, it was usually about something stupid and they made up just immediately after. Then, the making up was really, really fun.

Brooke smiled as Chase kissed her hand. He was really different from any other guy she'd dated but in a good way. It wasn't about how he looked because if he weren't hot Brooke wouldn't have noticed him in the first place but it was more about how he made her feel. With all the other guys she'd either get tired easily or she'd get jealous easily but with Chase there was hardly any drama like that she did feel safer and protected with him around "I love you, you know that?" She smiled remembering the first time they'd said that to each other in high school who would have thought it would last so long?

She laughed a little, sometimes Brooke thought Chase would like to fight just to make up but he knew that they wouldn't have to go through all of that just for sex. "Or we could just forget the whole fighting part and skip to the making up part" She said with a smile on her face. It was actually nice to know she was the only girl he'd slept with just because he'd have nothing to compare her to and she wouldn't ave to worry about him talking about other girls or anything.

Chase didn't really have anybody to compare Brooke to. He dated Sarah a few years back in high school, but he liked to try to keep that out of his mind because he got hurt so badly. He knew that Brooke had went through the same exact thing, but she still remained friends with both Lucas and Peyton. Chase, on the other hand, wasn't so lucky. He hardly talked to Sarah and Craig after that fateful day. However, it was like it was a wake-up call for him. He would have never joined Clean Teens if he hadn't caught them. Then, he would have never met Brooke. Chase was glad that she was the only girl he had ever slept with. It made it all the more special. Chase smiled when she said that she loved him. "Yeah....I know," he said. "I love you too," he told her. He remembered back to when they had said those words to each other in high school. It wasn't the most conventional of ways, but it still worked out.

Chase knew that they didn't have to fight if they wanted to have sex. They could just skip the fighting and get to the making up. "I like the way your mind works," he said with a smile. Chase leaned over and kissed Brooke on the lips. Now, Chase really didn't to fight, he just wanted to get to the making up.

The fact that Chase and Brooke had both been hurt before was probably what brought them together in the first place. Chase never talked much about that Sarah chick that slept around with his best friend but Brooke would probably be the same way about Lucas and Peyton if they hadn't turned out friends in the end. She just tried not to ask any weird questions about it, why live in the past? They should really be thinking about the future, if Brookes fashion line went well she was planning on getting the hell out of Tree Hill as soon as possible but what would happen to them? It was like graduating from high school all over again, but that turned out alright. "Chase, I was sort of wondering what happens after this summer? I mean we're done with school now and we haven't talked about anything like what happens if one of us have to move because of a job or something, I mean do you really plan on living in Tree Hill forever?" Brooke stopped herself, she knew that when she was nervous or serious about something she'd start to talk a lot and she wanted to let him say something.

Brooke laughed a little "Oh yeah?, I though you would" She said putting her arm around him and kissing him back. Chase was always the best kisser it probably had to do with the fact that he'd only been kissing girls until Brooke came along. Se didn't really have to have sex to be happy with Chase, although it really helped, but she could just kiss him and everything would be perfect.

Chase didn't like to think about his past, especially with Sarah. He tried to live his life as regret-free as possible and he didn't like to live in the past. That's why he had never really asked Brooke and Lucas and Peyton. He could tell that it would hurt her to bring it up, so he never has. He knew that he would be hurt if Brooke just started asking him questions about Sarah out of the blue. Chase listened to Brooke and he had to think about it. He hadn't really thought about that. He knew that if Brooke had something to do with her fashion line, then she would want to move. "Honestly? I haven't really thought about it all that much. But whatever your career leads you, then I can follow you," he said. "Whatever happens, I just want to be with you...but we don't have to worry about until summer is over. Let's make this the best summer ever..okay?" he said softly.

Chase laughed. "Yeah..," he said as he wrapped his arms tightly around Brooke's waist. He kissed her back with every ounce of passion in him. Chase loved kissing Brooke. She was such a good kisser and obviously he had had alot of experience, only kissing girls before Brooke came along.

Brooke sighed as she heard Chase talk about following her no matter what. She smirked a little, although she did feel better knowing that he wanted to be with her Brooke didn't want him to follow if he didn't want to. "I can't ask you to do something like that, not if you don't want to" Brooke said honestly. She nodded when Chase mentioned making the summer memerable "Yeah, I don't know it's just...I feel like if we wait for the last minute somethings going to happen and I don't know things will turn out bad" She knew that Chase would do anything to make sure they stayed together and Brooke felt the same way.

As much as she was loving the feeling of Chase kissing her she broke the kiss for a second and looked at him "You remember when you said we could do anything I wanted?" Chase should have seen what was coming next "Well you're taking me shopping later" She said quickle before kissing him again. She knew how he felt about having to be dragged around the mall with her but still she was kind of addicted to wasting money. It wasn't her money anyways, her parents still sent checks from time to time and she planned on wasting it. She wrapped her arms around his neck and kept kissing him.

Chase glanced at Brooke. He knew that she didn't want him to have to follow her, but he wanted to. "Who said I didn't want to?" he asked with a small smirk, moving his hand to rest on her stomach. He listened to her and nodded. "Look, whatever happens, we'll figure it out...together," he told her softly. "No matter what happens, I just want to be with you." Chase would do anything to be with Brooke and if that meant following her around the world, then he would do that. He would sacrifice anything for her. He just hoped that Brooke felt the same way about the situation and would do the same for him.

Chase felt as Brooke broke the kiss. He nodded as she talked and as she continued, he knew what was coming. It was inevitable. There was only one thing in the world that Chase could think of that Brooke would want to do today. He laughed as his thoughts were answered. "I did say it was your choice, didn't I?" he asked with a small chuckle. Chase kissed her back as he draped his arms around her waist. Brooke knew how much he hated being dragged around the mall by her, but he would do it if it was what she wanted to do.

Brooke smiled at him, it meant a lot that he wanted to be with her. She'd do anything for him and didn't care about what anyone thought as long as they were happy "Well I was just saying" She told him with a small smirk on her face. Her smirk soon turned into a smile she loved him for what he'd said, although it didn't solve their little problem it still made her feel a lot better about things "I just wanna be with you too" She said nodding her head. "And if you ever wanna do something crazy like move to las vegas randomly then I'll go with you" Brooke said then thinking about it "But um Vegas wouldn't be a good idea so don't do that" She shook her head and laughed going there would be like asking Chase to leave her and become some alcoholic gambler who sleeps around all the time. It wasn't going to happen.

"Yes you did" Brooke said to him with a smile "You shouldn't have done that" She laughed a little. At least she gave him the choice of doing whatever he wanted to do so it wasn't like seh was forcing him to go. Brooke kissed im and moved a little closer to him as he wrapped his arms around her waist.

Chase smiled as he closed his eyes for a moment. He opened them back up and looked at her. God, he had the most beautiful girlfriend in the world. Although they hadn't solved their problem, he was just trying to make things sound a little better. Sometimes, words could make things seem a little better. Chase was just so in love with Brooke, he never wanted to be apart from her. "I never want to lose you..," he whispered as he propped his head up on the pillow and looked at her. He listened to what Brooke said and chuckled. He shook his head some. "You don't have to worry about that," he told her. Chase would never just up and move to Las Vegas and become some drunken gambler who screwed girls every night.

Chase smiled against Brooke's lips. "I guess I shouldn't have," he said with a nod. "So, this making up is pretty fun," he said in between kisses as his hands remained on her waist. Chase pried his lips off of Brooke's for a moment as he placed soft kisses on her neck.
