how can you be sure you're really safe?
Valvianne Island, an uncharted island somewhere out in the south coast of the Mediterranean. The island itself is unknown by those who are normal but greatly praised by those who are, different. Those who are thought to be different in the 'normal' world are accepted on the island. Somewhere they're allowed to and should feel 'normal'. An island that was created from scratch by four different families who were determined to keep the mutant population alive.
Before the year 1939, mutants were not known to exist. No one even knew what a mutant was. That day was soon to arrive and it did on June 3rd, 1939 where a group of teens were found in a dark alley using their 'paranormal powers'. It only took a short time for the rest of the world to find out about these 'things' called mutants. Apart from the world being in a war against each other, now they had to worry about mutants roaming their land. Amazing how it didn't take much time for mutants to be isolated. The killings had begun and they weren't going to stop until every mutant in the world had been gotten rid of. From the findings, it seemed as though the mutants knew each other and they knew of their powers. This came with a lot of backstabbing within their community which resulted in many killings. The rest of the mutants around the world seemed to be doing nothing to stop this but the mutants in Europe were not going down without a fight.
Mutants in Europe where known to be fighting back, using their powers against the humans which angered and frightened alot of the human population. But, through out this whole battle, during the WWII and the MW (Mutant War), there were 4 families that stood out and that consisted of The Bradys family, Mercy family, Wilde family, and the Romano family. These four families all were mutants along with their children. They were destined to survive and survive they did. Fleeing their country, they hid in the Mediterranean where they were known to have disappeared and no one in the world knew where they were.
For fifty years, they had stayed in the hiding, where no one knew where they were. WWII had ended along with the MW but the government in every country was still trying to get rid of them. What they didn't know, was that these families had hid in the Mediterranean for fifty years living on an uncharted island that no one knew about. Yeah, no one knew about it because it was built during the world ward and no one but the families knew about it. But the island wasn't a place for the families to keep in hiding. The reason the island was built, was so that the mutants had a place to be safe and worry-free from the government trying to get rid of them; and for the next 10 years, they roamed the world finding every mutant out there and bringing them back to the island. These four families, founders of the island, were considered the rulers and no one ever dared betray them.
The island was divided into four sections where each family had their part and ruled it. The Brady family ruled the south, the Mercy family ruled the east, the Wilde family ruled the west, and the Romano family ruled the north part of the island. Now, although the island was divided, wars between the four sides and families never actually took place. But each family had their own problems within their part of the island. But, the one that consisted of the most problems was the North Side which the Romano family rand.
The North Side of the island was one of the most important parts of the entire island. The North Side was like the capital of a country; The North Side was the capital, and Valvianne Island was the country. One of the most important things in the north was the school that it contained. For many years, the school had educated it's students that came from all the parts of the island. Education consisted of teaching it's students how to control their powers and how to use them for the right reasons. For many years, this had been a great establishment of the island and it was run by the Romano family. The school would be handed down after every death of the headmaster or headmistress and the school would be handed down to the eldest of siblings.

The school has been running ever since the beginning of the island and it still stands now in the year of 2007. There were many traditions when it came to running the school but there was one tradition that was broken in the summer of 2006 where the headmaster of the school, Balthazar Julio Romano passed away leaving a will where he would announce Rosaline Mary Romano as the new headmistress of Autumn Institute for the Gifted, or so it was thought. When it came time for it to be announced that Rosaline would be given the school and would assume to be headmistress, a great shock was given as they announced Lilian Diane Romano as the new headmistress of Autumn Institute. A great silenced passed in the room as everyone stayed in shock of what had just happened. Instead of the eldest, Rosaline, keeping the school, the grandfather had left the school to the youngest instead. Rosaline was not going to stand for it.
Rosaline had left the room with great anger but no words. She could have gone of and just killed her sister but no. If she was going to get rid of her sister, she would take her time with it and make sure she had fun with it. It was her plan to get the school and she was going to do if; even if she had to kill her own sister. Plus, her sister Lilian wanted to teach students how to use their powers for good and how to control them. They obviously had different opinions seeing as Rosaline thought her powers should be used to kill all the stupid filthy humans that took their world and that they should have to know how to control their powers.
Ever since Lilian became Headmistress, Rosaline had been gathering followers that would help her take over the school so she could be the headmistress. That wasn't where she was going to stop. After getting the school, she would then try to take control of each part of the island one at a time. As you can see, she had big plans than just to get the school for her again. Headmistress was too little of a job for her, ruler of the entire island is where she might settle a little before trying to go for the human world. The war between Rosaline and Lilian can begin at any second. But will Rosaline have enough followers?
