“Special Powers && What They Do™”
    If you haven't noticed by now, Enigmatic Espionage is a school that was created for those who were gifted with special powers that were rare in the human world. Within this topic, you will find a list of powers that have been recorded as official powers within the mutant community. Each power has been separated into two different categories which are Mental Powers and Physical Powers,. Within each category, you will find all the special powers that fall under that category. You will find the name of the power and a little description of what the power is. This will hopefully let you make a wise decision on what your character's powers will be. Keep in mind that you will be able to choose two powers. One major and one minor power. Your minor power cannot be 'stronger' than your major power so choose correctly.

    ** POWERS THAT ARE IN RED MEAN YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PICK A MINOR POWER WHEN REGISTERING BECAUSE THE POWER IS ALREADY TOO STRONG.**

  • Aerokinesis ;; The ability to create extra air molecules with the mind.
  • Air Control ;; The ability to the air around oneself. Take not that you may control the air around you but you do not have the ability to actually create the air itself
  • Amp Factor ;; The ability to get out of any difficult situation using mathematical equations.
  • Animal Control ;; The ability to summon and control various animal life-forms. Often this ability is limited to one species of animal
  • Astral Projection ;; The ability to transport ones mental image to another place.
  • Aura Detection ;; The ability to tell someone's true nature their their aura
  • Book Learning ;; The ability to read information, understand it, and keep it memorized for long periods of time. Also the ability to quickly read and grasp the information.
  • Charm ;; The ability to talk smoothly towards others.
  • Creature Shift ;; The ability to absorb energy from another to physically change into another creature. Normally limited to some kind of anthromorphic look and it may only be one kind of animal.
  • Combat Skill ;; The ability to quickly learn fighting skills without any hesitation. Can be learned by reading about it or watching someone else do it.
  • Containment Field ;; The ability to project a barrier around oneself and everything/everybody around them. This at times can be an automatic defense meaning it will automatically happen when the body senses it is in danger.
  • Cyberpathy ;; The ability to psychically interact with computers and/or electronic equipment. Gives the user total control of equipment.
  • Darkness Manipulation ;; The ability to control and manipulate darkness/shadows. This gives the user the ability to get rid of light or make more light appear by making shadow/dark disappear. But, it does not give them the ability to create light.
  • Earth Control ;; The ability to control rock/stone around oneself. But, it does not give the person the ability to create rock or stone.
  • Electricity Control ;; The ability to control electricity around oneself. But it does not give the person the ability to create electricity.
  • Electrokinesis ;; The ability to mentally cause a spark with other molecules.
  • Elemental Control ;; The ability to control the four elements in the world. Fire, Wind, Water, and Earth. But it does not give the person the ability to create any of the elements.
  • Empathy ;; the ability for one to feel and sense another's emotions. At times, the user's emotion will refelct the emotion of the person he/she is at the moment sensing from the other.
  • Fire Control ;; The ability to control fire around oneself. But it does not give the person the ability to create fire.
  • Flight ;; The ability to become weightless giving them the ability to rise from the air and float above the ground being able to move at their own will.
  • Genius ;; The ability to understand anything and everything without complication and retain that knowledge. This can be in one field only or in many different ones.  This power is only including information.
  • Geokinesis ;; The ability to harden molecules until they become some type of rock-like substance.
  • Hydrokinesis ;; The ability to create water by mentally adding extra water molecules to other atoms.
  • Hyper-Keen Senses ;; Someone  who has had their human senses enhanced beyond a normal human. The ability to hear, see, touch, smell, and taste millions of times better than an average human.
  • Hypnotic Voice ;; The ability to make someone do what you want them to do by just talking to them.
  • Hypnotize ;; The ability to control someone through eye contact and make them do anything you wish them to do. Usually, only for a limited about of time.
  • Instant Charm ;; Giving off an instant feeling of comfort to others.  Most children have this effect.
  • Illusionism ;; The ability to create illusions in front of one's eyes or inside their mind.
  • Language Skill ;; The ability to learn and understand even the most complex languages in a short period of time.
  • Luck ;; The ability to have things in your favor.
  • Magnetism ;; The ability to manipulate the magnetic polarity around oneself and control any metal substance. But it does not mean the person may create metal.
  • Matter Control ;; The ability to will things to do as you want.  Does not include living tissue.
  • Maxi Sense ;; One of the five senses at an ultimate max. This gives the person the ability to see, hear, smell, touch, and taste things that might be from the past [life] or spirits.
  • Mediumship ;; The ability to communicate with those who have passed away.
  • Memory Manipulation ;; The ability to erase one's memory along with being able to bring back memories that have been lost within one's mind. This also gives one the ability to create memories that never existed.
  • Mental Healing ;; The ability to use ones mind to give a diagnosis and to do surgery on another.
  • Mental Time Bombs ;; The ability to form small balls of energy that after a set amount of time explode. The size of the explosion may vary by the size of the ball.
  • Mind Reading ;; The ability to read ones thoughts and at times their feelings or moods.
  • Momentium Build ;; The ability to make an object's speed increase without touching it. This cannot be used on another human or living thing.
  • Multiply Self ;; The ability to multiply oneself by a million with each copy exact as the original. The more copies, the weaker oneself is.
  • Nature Control ;; The ability to control nature around oneself. But it does not give the person the ability to create nature.
  • Naturkinesis ;; The ability to create plant life/nature.
  • Perfect Aim ;; An acute ability to understand mathematical equations and use them to aim perfectly from any angle.  Still if an object is blocked in.. it can't be hit.
  • Phase ;; Causing ones molecules to shift out.  Electronic devices tend to have a problem is phased through them.
  • Pipedream ;; The ability to put someone in a dreamy like state by singing any soft tune or by touch.
  • Power Sensing ;; The ability to sense those who are mutants. Also the ability to tell what power they consume and what level mutant they are.
  • Psi ;; A main psionic power that gives a person limited use of ALL mental abilities
  • Psi Vampire ;; A person that feeds from psionic energy.  The energy makes them stronger or often they need it to survive.
  • Psi Weapons ;; The ability to create weapons that cause harm mentally and not physically.  These weapons are normally limited to blunt objects or objects such as swords.
  • Psionic Channeling ;; The ability to transfer psi energy into a physical weapon causing it to do mental harm.
  • Psionic Detection ;; The ability to sense other psionics.
  • Pyrokinesis ;; The ability to create fire by overheating molecules in the air.
  • Rewind ;; The ability to make a certain item go back in time a few seconds.  Normally only a few seconds.
  • Shadow Shift ;; The ability to blend with shadows.
  • Speak to Animals ;; The ability to speak to and understand any living animal on the planet. On rare occasions, there will be someone who may only communicate with one species of animal.
  • Spider-Sense ;; A sixth sense that warns of danger.
  • Telepathy ;; The ability to communicate with someone mentally.
  • Telekinetic ;; The ability to move objects using ones mind.  Also able to form solid mental energy (walls, in the form of a blast, etc).
  • Teleport ;; The ability to transfer oneself to a different area.  Some can go by memory and others only by sight.  People can be taken with, but no more then twice the teleporters body mass.
  • Time Stop ;; The ability to stop a selected group of molecules, seeming to freeze in time.  Normally limited to a small area and for a short amount of time.
  • Vertigo ;; Waves of pure confusion which conclude in making the other confused and having a bit of loss of memory.  Often makes the person using the power sick too.
  • Water Control ;; The ability to control water around oneself. But it does not let the person create water.
  • Weapon Skill ;; The ability to learn how to use weapons by watching others use it or reading about it.
  • Weather Control ;; The ability to control or mentally affect the weather.

  • Enhanced Hearing ;; Ears have an extra membrane that coats the ear drum, this membrane is so sensitive it may even be able to pick up on sonar.
  • Enhanced Sight ;; Eyes are more sensitive to everything giving a type of eagle sight.
  • Enhanced Smell ;; Nose is extra sensitive to every smell.
  • Enhanced Stamina ;; Adrenaline levels are well above normal, letting the person do things for a longer amount of time.
  • Enhanced Strength ;; All muscles seem to have maximum tension to them, making the person seem stronger to everyone else.
  • Force Fields ;; Able to produce an unseen shield.  Often and auto-defense.
  • Healing Factor ;; The ability to heal minor cuts quickly, immune system is higher.
  • Hyper Reflexes ;; Every muscle in the body has an extra tendon that seems to make their movements faster and flow more fluently.
  • Intangability ;; Able to separate the molecules in ones body or to an object, giving the ability to pass through.
  • Invisibility ;; The ability to refract light from ones body appearing invisible.  Able to turn other people invisible, no more then doubles ones mass.
  • Invulnerability ;; Nerve endings can withstand more pressure causing the person to feel less physically and be able to withstand more physical impact.[/b]
  • Life Force Absorbation ;; The ability to absorb someones essence through physical touch.
  • Monstrous Metamorphasis ;; Physical features seem frightening for people to look at.  Sometimes a person is stuck in this form all the time.
  • Night Vision ;; Eyes refract light to that more of a normal human.
  • Poison Quills ;; Able to project a poisonous quill from ones body.
  • Poison Touch ;; Fingertips secrete a type of toxin.
  • Shape-Shift ;; The ability to change features to look like other people.  Often limited to mass.
  • Size Change ;; Able to send an intense wave through the body causing it to grow in size.
  • Sonic Scream ;; The ability to generate one's vocal sounds of a higher amplitude than a normal human. Can cause damage to another's hearing.
  • Speed ;; The muscles in the legs are able to take more pressure and withstand more force per square inch.
  • Underwater Breathing ;; The ability to breathe underwater for long periods of time.
  • Wings ;; Objects protruding out of the back, giving the ability to fly.  Wings can look like anything, leathery like a bats or feathers like a bird.
  • X-ray Vision ;; Able to see through objects.  Unable to see through lead or other alloys with those properties.
