_____________the character

name : “Rhea Vega.”
nickname(s) : “There’s no other name I prefer, Rhea is perfectly fine... unless you convince me so..”
gender : “Female.”

age : “Sixteen.”
birthdate : “August sixth, nineteen ninety-one.”

major power : Change into Metal
description of power:
If anyone could imagine such a fragile looking girl to have powers or any unnatural ability that would make her inhumane, it certainly wouldn’t be slipping into a thick layer of indestructible metal. But, she in fact can. If it could be any person – someone would probably predict it would be somebody large, and certainly not a girl unless she had a fierce way of looking convincing enough to have power. But, sadly Rhea doesn’t look striking enough for such a power, although her fierce attitude seems fine for it. If she could pick a power of her own, it wouldn’t have to do with anything metal. Maybe perhaps, being extremely intelligent or able to walk threw walls or something along those lines. She’s not entirely ashamed of her uncanny ability to turn herself into metal, but it bores her. And though there is a lot more to shape-shifting, Rhea it’s that surprised at what she does. Sure, she can crash into walls without feeling it afterwards, but that’s nothing like phasing threw them. People might think she’s ridiculous for not realizing what a unique power she has obtained, but she isn’t a person to take the spotlight at all. So, she would like to restrain from believing she’s something special. Even though, she obviously is.

How exactly does she make this phenomenal transformation you ask? Well, although it seems like a simple task among that part, it’s actually the most difficult part of her power. It took her awhile to understand that it took a lot of concentration on her part, because she had to communicate with her body somehow. After all, it is a very peculiar and bizarre power, and it’s not easily achieved so quickly. Not many people understand that unless they have similar difficulties themselves. So, after picking up relaxation which in her words is able to sedate yourself into a composed state, which can be quite hard to master. Regardless, if a person is always calm or not; and although hard to comprehend at first, everyone eventually learns. Later, ensuring that you have conquered tranquillity, does the metamorphosis takes place. A slick metal surface coasts the body, sliding on at the limbs of the body first, and slowly advancing to the rest. At first, it looks almost liquid like, as the metal melts onto the user.

And after the silver liquid finishes crawling over every part of the body, it hardens to it’s unperishable position. You can still see every eyelash on her eyes, for the exception that they aren’t tinted brown anymore. Everything on her is a light polished silver. And all this might be shocking to some people considering she’s gray, it still doesn’t impress or more like shock herself. To hit at least anybody with a mighty swipe of her arms can send people falling backwards. She doesn’t really need to know a lot of battle moves, considering she can just knock people out like that; but moves are still useful. Though, she’s sort of struck by how she doesn’t have to imply much strength to do much stuff, but after awhile she can tier herself out.

The thick layer of metal that forms over her skin, is once again, unextinguishable, meaning she’s can’t be hurt at all. Nothing, absolutely nothing can stop her, because she can’t really feel anything. Maybe a blow could strike her off her feet, but it wouldn’t harm her. It’s hard to imagine a person indestructible, but she is. The smooth coating over her body makes it so even a nuclear bomb couldn’t even put her in such danger. Indestructible seems like an understatement. It takes a while before the metal is actually tough enough to withstand some levels, but after all, metal is pretty tough in the first place.

She can’t really feel anything, even the own warmth of her body, because she’s as cold as stone. Even if her own body isn’t completely metal, she still is quite icy to the touch. As people remember metal has never retained warmth, and since she can’t really feel anything anyways it doesn’t matter. After she returns to her original state she’s quite numb afterwards. She’s not exactly exhausted, but it can be tiring afterwards if she does run around. She’s weak like before, with no shield to protect her anymore; just a regular person. And although she appears that way, Rhea is most certainly not. Such a very powerful soul she is, and she doesn’t care.

_____________the personality

five words to describe your character :
    • fierce.
    • sweet.
    • intelligent.
    • passionate.
    • organized.
likes :
    • vanilla chocolate.
    • fruity scents.
    • romantic stories.

    • panic.
    • yellow.
    • dirty places.
    • rudeness.
    • lies.
    • guilt.
    • betrayal.
biggest fear :
Although Rhea hates being vulnerable, she fears the worst of being absolutely alone. After paranoia kicks in, Rhea is pretty crazy while she’s by herself. Although she’d probably never do anything that would result in something bad it’s just best not to. It’s not like every alone in general, mostly a scary woods would drive her mad, or anything the same.
worst memory :
It had began with such an innocent game of tag that didn’t result in how Rhea pictured it. She imagined herself succeeding because she had ventured into the forest that she knew like the back of her hand; but oh how she was wrong. She didn’t know the forest at all, especially since she journeyed so far into the forest she had no clue where it began, and where it ended. The foliage was too frightening making odd shapes as the arranged their shadows on the ground and strange voices came from them too. Rhea hyperventilated the whole time, as paranoid as she was in a forest all alone. She finally closed her eyes tight and screamed at the top of her lungs, for that was the better resort than trying to find her way back. She waited only a few minutes before finally Jose saved her. In all reality, she had been alone for only five or so minutes, but that seemed so much longer to the six-year-old. Plus, that fear, that panic that it had instilled in her, she knew she would never shake. From then on, it was only Jose that could instantly calm her down, no matter the situation.
fears :
    • being vulnerable.
    • torture.
    • spiders or bugs in general.
    • being lonely
habits :
    • biting down on her lip.
    • twirling her hair, or sniffing it.
    • drumming her fingers.
    • daydreaming.
goals :
    • making her “parents” proud.
    • to improve on her power.
    • to not bore herself, and impress herself instead.
    • not to lash out with that temper of hers.
    • find somebody.
personality :
Fierce is hardly a need to describe this one. Rhea Vega is known overall for her fiery temper, which has both attracted people to her and driven them away. Her display of anger was never so common in her childhood and even today, and she refuses to act at all immature around her adopted parents. It was in school, in fact, that her temper really began to develop fully, leaving her as feared and respected at the same time. Though it may sound confusing, it's both difficult and easy to get Rhea angry. Sometimes, it simply depends on who you are and other times, it depends on what you've done. There are times where she can hold out for hours against arguing, yet some people seemed to take only seconds to get her infuriated. She doesn't prefer yelling much, but at the same time, she'd rather scream at someone then be forced to physically harm them which probably would be too affective, since she can be cold as a rock sometimes, literally. Rhea has matured a lot after a few years though, but she still remains the same old Rhea who won't take shit from people when it comes to criticizing her loved ones or people who don't deserve it. Even though her temper has lessened, when it's been snapped once, it won't be easy to calm her down.

Rhea is somewhat a passionate fellow. Half the reason why Rhea is such a goody-two-shoes in her academic days is mostly because of the fact her determination and passion to make her adoptive parents proud of her always; to do the right thing and also, to finish all her essays and study all her tests. The moment her “parents” had kindly asked her to do her best in school, Rhea had made their wishes her top priority and once her mind is set, she would stop at nothing to achieve what she wanted. The passion she had for her “parents” honor was only one of the examples and she shows her determination in many other points in her life, such as the love she expresses to her dearest. Rhea, when she makes up her mind to do something, will always put one hundred and ten percent into whatever that something is. She despises not giving her all because most of the time, it's all or nothing and her ego could probably never take the nothing side of it. Her strong will is enforced in nearly all her goals and to say without hesitation, she is on her way to fulfilling most of what she has desired to accomplish. Except maybe a few little things such as a good marriage life, if she ever gets to that.

Despite Rhea's terrifying temper and sometimes craziness in disorder, Rhea is truly a kind person at heart. More then half of her live is based on making others happier and Rhea usually never puts herself before others if the person deserves it. She has never been the one to ever reject a hand in need and will voluntarily aid someone if they are truly not able to accomplish whatever it is they wish to by themselves. With half a heart of gold, Rhea would rather give up her own life if it meant to give a loved one the chance to live, simply because her passion and love have always taken the best of all her other traits. Ruling most of her actions and words. Though she may not always speak the kindest things in her moments of anger, Rhea can truly be the sweetest and nicest person you will ever meet. As long as you return the favor and don't treat her as shit, basically. She cares about those who are hurt, injured or suffering in any way and can't go on her way without at least trying to take a part in help. She shows respect to people before judging them on their looks or even what she's heard, but it's only after a few conversations will she make her final judgment, losing her kindness if she feels the other person is not the kind who deserves it. She's generally nice upon first meetings, but Rhea does not convince herself that she must and always be nice. After all, you can't always be little miss sunshine around the clock seven days a week.

If Rhea Vega was ever assigned a virtue she'd best stick to, justice would be her partner. It wouldn't have been a surprise if she had ever become a lawyer later on in her life because to put it simply, Rhea has never been able to withstand false accusations or unnecessary blaming or mockery. Her ability to defend not only her loved ones, but everyone in general has lead people to love and respect her even despite the fact her temper is pretty nasty when provoked. When anyone or anything is accused for doing something she finds absolutely ridiculous to be punished for, Rhea won't hesitate at all to step in and defend that person in any way possible. She believes entirely in justice and fairness, going with only the fact that if you're going to do something wrong, you're going to pay the exact amount of consequences for it - neither less or more. Her passion is specifically powerful in this area and if you're going to mess someone up just for the hell of it, don't do it around Rhea.

Ever since birth, Rhea has always had this need to be organized. Ever since she began speaking, walking and all that other good stuff toddlers do, Rhea Vega always had this knack of keeping things in order. Of course, at that time, she didn't exactly clean up all her messes, but even as a child, Rhea never left her things sprawled across the floor. Either they were all in a straight line or a neat pile, preferably in a corner of the room. These organization habits never died down as she grew older and in fact, they even grew with her. Her room was never a mess, her papers were always filed neatly and even when she's stressed. She'll get up on her feet and do unnecessary cleaning, sometimes even repeating what she's already done. She absolutely hates it when things are out of order, though there are somethings she can stand. Some kind of motherly sense within her has always caused her to be a bit more touchy about how things are in place or where they stand and though some find it annoying, it's best to just let her go her way, it won't take too long before she's finished.

_____________the history

nationality : english
parents : Jose & Isabella Vega
siblings :
    • Bernardino Vega
    • Illiana Vega

(Rhea is actually adopted, making Jose & Isabella more like her parents, and their children her siblings.)
history :
The mother breathed in and out harshly as she went through labor. This was her first time going through this painful torture and it was going to be her last of the madness. It was too dreadful to endure. If her husband even thought of laying a hand on her again, he'd be sleeping on the couch for the rest of his life. Though it would all be worth it when her child came out.... Right? Well she really hated going through this, she just hoped it would get better. Honestly, how could pushing a baby out be so damn hard? It was painful. But, she knew having unprotected sex was going to led this to anyways. What was she thinking? That was just it. She wasn’t thinking at all. The girl steadily heaved a long breath, and then continuous little ones as she stared out , warily, into the windows on the bright sunny day of August. She extremely stressed, and felt the mood swings kick in as she began lashing out at people, for no reason at all. Although the girl was at a young age of eighteen, she looked incredibly old with the bags that remained under her eye lids. She winced in discomfort and agony and the doctors quickly rolled her off to the delivering room...

“I..... I... I can’t keep her..... I just can’t.” The new mother cradled the wailing baby in her arms, as she frantically swayed her baby back in forth in continuous jumpy movements. It wasn’t helping a bit, the baby just continued to cry and cry. Her eyes watered like the baby, you could see the fear in her puffy red face. There was nothing she could do. “Why? You just can’t.... anything but that.” Her husband tried reasoning with her, but it didn’t seem to help either. “I’m sorry...” her voice trailed off looking out the window, and she sniffed. “I...I...Just can’t. I have a whole future ahead of me... I can’t do this now. I’m not ready. Can’t you see that?” She tried seemed calm but, her murmur got more anxious by the minute. “You can’t just take her back, not after only a month.....” A tear rolled down the girl’s soft, delicate cheek as she spoke for the last time, “I’m sorry...” For the girl would didn’t want a baby, didn’t deserve a baby at a young age...But, she still was mournful that she had to let it go. She wasn’t ready for a life she couldn’t commit to fully, she didn’t deserve a baby she couldn’t handle. That’s why she had to let her go.

It was then on that Rhea began a new life, although she never really began one before. She was quickly adopted out to a bunch of eager mutant parents, like herself – minus the parents, that already had too young children of their own. There was Bernardino, and a girl by the name of Illiana that was only four or so months ahead of Rhea. It seemed like the two girls had been destined to be twins, they only seemed so alike with there childish behavior and their shimmering, dusky brown hair. And for awhile growing up, that’s what Rhea believed. Only for the exception that they were very different mutants all together. Her new parents had never bothered to talk about the details around her, some of what she was too young for her tiny, innocent ears to understand, and others was just to difficult for anybody. So, Rhea’s parents kept it a secret, and Rhea continued on her days playing with her siblings like a normal child until she stumbled upon something one day. She was nine, and loved to explore her dad’s office at the time. Rhea, just playing along at that moment and then was shocked later at what she had actually found.

There is bold letters stated that she was indeed someone else’s child, someone by the names of a ‘Bianca Gjerlaug’ and a ‘Charles Vallevik’. She was absolutely appalled that someone had given her up, by what seemed like no reason at all. After only two days of thoughts of her real parents absorbing her mind, did she finally ask her parents about her real parents. They told her nothing more and nothing less that she didn’t already know by reading the adoption papers. It sickened her that she had no clue what her real parents were even like, only giving her up when she was only a month old. Were they human or possibly mutants like herself? She was so puzzled by it all. Rhea began trying getting closer to her siblings for more comfort, and also trying to feel some connection that could make her feel like she belonged. It didn’t take awhile until she finally found her place in her home, and her new school as well, Autumn Institution. It was for children like herself, a mutant. And it was only a matter of time before she found how to use her interesting powers that she found herself bored with...

_____________the end

special word : admin checked
power roleplay sample:
Radiate sunshine seeped through the window, illumining the room with it’s crystal like gaze. Rhea was sprawled out of her bed, and would appear fast asleep if she hadn’t groaned slightly and flopped over to the other side of her bed. She began tossing and turning a bit, trying to avoid the light of the sun, which seemed impossible. ”I wanna to sleeep,” she slurred her words obviously not fully awake. ”Leave sunshine, you have no business here.” She then mindlessly picked up her arm and began swatting at the sunlight like an idiot. She rotated once more until finally let out a frustrated sigh. She wasn’t going to get a where, especially with the sun being there. She quickly rolled out of bed, seeing as being an idiot was her biggest pet peeve of all time, but sometimes you just can’t but help to be a hypocrite. She wiped her eyes sheepishly, and made it top priority to get blinds for her room. Oddly, they didn’t supply them already, or perhaps someone stole it for a joke or something. She had absolutely clue. She staggered out of her room towards the bathroom. She began with her shower to quickly wake herself up from her trance. First was the frigid cold, then the blistering hot; not that she enjoyed taking them that way, it simply woke her up. Finally when she was done, she tugged a towel around her naked body and ringed out her wet hair, then finally went to approach the sink after she changed in some dry clothes.

Admiring herself in the mirror, she rapidly saw the bags under her eyes and gave another frustrated sigh. Why couldn’t her face be perfect she wondered. She either always had blemishes or something along the lines of that. She picked up her tooth brush still concentrating on herself in the mirror. After rinsing her mouth out. She stared in the and tried to remember what she had learned in class about focusing her energy. She took a deep breath, and breathed out slowly trying to calm herself. She had always paid attention in class, but this part she couldn’t stand listening to. They made the transformation sounds so easy Rhea thought to herself. And it wasn’t. She snorted in disgust. ”Com’on.... I can do this,” Rhea said in a reassuring matter. She clapped the edge of the sink firmly in her grasp, not thinking why that would help. She took a deep breath again, and deliberately closed her eyes. She couldn’t remember if she had to think of something peaceful like a pond or not, but that sounded positively stupid – so she wasn’t even going to think of that. She struggled to keep a emotionless face, without giggling at how stupid it seemed. It always seems hard in the morning she thought once more. Mostly because she had no patients at that time, during the day she would regain it.

She opened her eyes again, and brushed back her damp hair from her face. This time she would fight back Rhea thought. She tried it again, still resting her hands tightly to the sink. Rhea breathed in more thinking of the sunshine outside, and then. It began. She felt the cold seeping over her body, and the silver metal graced over her skin. It slid over her fingers, her toes, then began advancing towards her stomach. It wasn’t always a slow process, she just couldn’t control herself like always in the mornings. They always made it so difficult. The liquid had finally spread everywhere like the plague, and then hardened to it’s original form like always. Then, she breathed out. Normally, she didn’t hold her breath, she was just curious at that point if she could do it. And, apparently she could even though it made her slightly dazed.

Examining her body from head to toe like she always did, she unlocked her firm grip from the sink. She looked down at the sink again, noticed it was remotely bent compared to it’s earliest state. A whoops seeped from her lips. Gently, to make sure she hadn’t broken the sink completely, she picked it up by the sides again. Despite how strong she was – or if you could call it strong, she was able to delicately put it back in place, but still sort of a bit above the height it used to be. She sighed. ”It wasn’t always perfect,” she shrugged. It was the beginning of a new day, who cared about the sink. It was a sink she told herself, I did no harm. She patted the sink lightly and smiled,”No harm done.”

After walking away from the sink did she begin slapping herself in the forehead again and again. She had been talking to a sink, she really hoped no one had seen her. She’d probably hear about one of those invisible kids talking about insane she was for breaking the sink then fixing it, and the talking to it. Rhea was not insane..... No.. She was just a bit stupid in the mornings. And who could actually help that? Nobody. She’d seen people do some crazy things in the past, and talking to a sink wasn’t so bad.... Was it? Who was she kidding herself, Rhea thought. She was insane! That was the last time she’d do that again. She would remind herself hands off the sink, they have feels too. HA! Well, she’d just have to find someway to not touch it or something along those lines.
