Rules are pretty common sense, so you probably already know most of these. Just use your heads, and you probably won't get into trouble, yeah? There are two basic rules that everyone should remember. The first one is respect. Don't just respect the admins, respect everyone here. Don't be rude to people. If you have a problem with someone, take it to Aim, not on here! We don't want to see you guys fighting, and if things get out of hand, don't be afraid to talk to an admin, kay? The other general rule on SM is have fun. What's the point of roleplaying if you don't have fun? This site is like, the fun place. If you don't have fun it ruins the whole thing. SO LIVE A LITTLE, RIGHT BABIES?

As for the rest: Don't steal people's graphics, don't stretch the board (avatars should be 150x200 at most, and sigs no wider than 500px thanks!), don't spam the cbox. It all falls into the respect business and havin' fun, yeah? You guys know all that stuff, right?

Please register with your characters LAST, then FIRST name in UPPERCASE letters (unless you're using a western name, then FIRST, LAST is just fine!). It's not a big deal if you make a mistake, it's fixable... but please don't make a habit out of it, because the staff are lazy mofos. XD

We are a short-app board, so before posting any threads and stuff, post an app up and make sure to reply in the face claim! Easy, right? Uhm, no perfect characters either. Barbie is a toy, not a real person. We have no bans on characters currently, but try to keep the ratios even. There's no limit on how many characters you can have. If you want to have fifteen characters, then we don't want to stop you. You have to keep 'em all active though, and if you're not posting once every two weeks with each character, then someone else might be more than happy to play around with that face claim?

There's nothing that is more annoying then when people take a celebrity, write an application, and make a beautiful plot with me and then quit. I admit, we're all busy people, right? If you're really that busy, then don't join, or if you get too busy then post a thread of absence. We'll be holding activity checks a lot, so if you're going on vacation or gone for the weekend, SAY SOMETHING! 'Cause we don't want you to get deleted because you went to Hawaii. Post at least once every two weeks- don't hog face claims if you're not going to use them.

When you're posting, keep good grammar and spelling in mind. I'm not in the spelling bee either, but keep it legitimate- spell check is your best friend. Don't use chatspeak unless it's an IM thread. No godmodding and powerplaying. That's totally not cool. Roleplay how you're supposed to. But you know all this stuff already, right? We've all been on a million sites and these rules probably aren't different than any other site.

As for word counts.... we don't have any. Post what you want, but make sure to keep RESPECT in mind. Don't post a one-liner to someone's 1000 word post. Give people stuff to work with, respect the effort they put into their work by putting some effort in too, okay?
