Ra's Adventure

[The Winged Dragon of Ra]

Ra awoke from the darkness. After a long, mental struggle, he had finally escaped from his prison of darkness, the place to where he had been banished by...who, he couldn't remember. Ra was drained of his former powers, he knew that much, viewing the pathetic human form he had taken. The world...it had changed too, with many metal items and box-shaped items half the size of pyramids, built with a strange material Ra did not recognise, and many of them were glowing in places.Unsure of what to do, Ra set off down the street, for some sign of someone who could help him familiarise with this changed realm, and reclaim his stolen powers...and exact vengeance on the impudent ones who had dared rob him of his glory and lock him in mental oblivion for 1000 years.

Serenity had just went for a walk out of her home, and was wlking along the street, when she saw someone looking a little lost across the street, she gave a little gasp as she saw how lost he was, she noticed that he had stopped and she looked into his eyes, and couldn't belive at what she saw... pain, scaarifice, loss, loneliness... she walked across the street adn stopped about 18 feet down the lane.She looked at him for a while then she walked up to him...
"Hello, do yuo need some help...?" She asked him...

" Yes...I...this is going to be hard to believe, but.."
Ra told her everything he could remember: about his past, his isolation and mental struggle, and his current predicament. Ra did not comprehend why he told this girl...Serenity...everything, but he could sense she was a kindred spirit, an honest person who had maybe lost something as important to her as Ra had.
" I sense that there is more to you than meets the eye" He told her " and this is a strange place to me, the world has certainly changed in 1000 years. And I don't even know where to begin my quest for my former power...all the temples have disappeared..."

Serenity, now slighty confused, realised that he needed help, or he would never get anywhere...
"all the temples have disappeared..."
"hmm...I know, the museum, they might have a clue to your past!"
"It has lots of ancient artifact, and they might point to what your looking for..."
She smiled "Would you like me to show you the way?"

" Museum? Artifacts? It couldn't hurt...please show me the way"
Together, they set off down the street, Ra still marvelling inwardly at the..what had Serenity said it was called? Technology...of this new world.
" Tell me about yourself" Ra inquired suddenly " I sense that there is more to you than you would like others to believe."

"Me? well...My parents spilt up when i was younger, and my brother and I were seperater. I mover to america with my mother, but I could'nt stand being away from my brother, so I moved back here. Soon after I met Seto and we gor married. Now i live with him, but lost my cousin a couple of month back and I...I miss him like anything... i could always tel him anthing, and we got on so well... but there was an accident and my cousin was killed, i spent so long greiving for him, and even now I haven't recovered...I wish I was there to help him when he needed me most..." Serenity felf liek she was going to cry...
"but my friends and Seto have helped me through these times, adn I feel as though i can move on, but I know that my cousin wil always be watching over me..." Serenity wiped the tears from her eyes...
"oh look, theres the museum there..." She pointed to the tall building in frnt of them...
