Okay first of all, we need a plot or two that will require 1) The X-Men to split into two groups to deal with. and 2) something bad enough the kind of force the X-Men will normally not use is required.


Now for the good part. The reserve list for X-Force. Who can be temporarily be independents or in another faction until the plot is finished. Put your X-Force reserves here and I will make sure they are counted. If you want to move an existing character to the team, we need to work out how, but this shouldn't be an issue within reason. Once your app is approved, you'll be added to the roster. Any questions, as always, PM me or DA.

Unless somebody else shows up who's better for the job, Cannonball will be the leader to start.

Well, Jamar (Kid Omega) and I were thinking up ways we could get X-Force kicked off, and this is what we’ve gotten thus far.

Mystique, we’ve noticed, has been screwing with her lovely son Graydon Creed in at least one thread I know of for sure. So we thought, what if we used that to our advantage as the force that pushes the first domino. The idea is that Graydon is tired of being hassled, and that combined with his inherent hate for mutants inspires a sort of Friend of Humanity rough draft. Ok, so that is the preliminary motivation and junk. The actual event is still undecided…however the outcome is that few students (Aero being one of them) are captured in a stunt meant to lure out the X-Men. The stunt is publicly televised…or one of the students manages to contact the mansion, either way Sam finds out and he isn’t happy about it.

I think this plot should end with Graydon managing to escape, and we could revisit FoH later in a wider, deeper plot.

After that (and Genosha) X-Force, I’d imagine, is splitting from the Mansion…and to do so they need a backer. Some mysterious entity witnesses the FoH shenanigans and sees an opportunity to help mutantkind, and they get in touch with Sam. They make him an offer; he leads a team of his choosing with their money to rid the world of the more serious threats. So there it is…everything is very general at the moment, but this should be enough so everyone has the gist and can pitch in their own ideas.
