To Me, My X-Men!

"Oh lovely...Apocalypse." Amanda muttered and crossed her arms. Apocalypse was not one to take lightly, it seemed every time the X-Men fought him something really bad happened. She looked at Drake and shook her head. "Let's hope that's not what you were seeing in your vision."

Keillia turned to Kalik and smirked. "Why must you always be the voice of reason?" She laughed. While Keillia was ready to always jump at the chance to go on a quest, Kalik always looked at the situation a little differently. He was a bit more cautious when it came to things.

Merrill chuckled. "And thank god for that, Kiki. Last time you went changing off against Kalik's warnings you ended up trapped in that spiky pit of death with that undead zombie thing." Merrill shook his head, recalling the memory.

"Drake, The X-Men will help you out in any ways we can. It's just if this does have anything to do with Apocalypse then we might need to wait and get a full team to go looking." Amanda knew that he probably wanted to start seeking out what he saw. "I'm willing to go with you though if you want to get a jump on things."

Drake crossed his arms and rubbed his chin taking in what Kalik had said as well as Amanda and Keillia. He nodded to Kalik, "I agree with Kalik, however what i felt was not Apocalypse it was definately something.. else, however we dont really know." Drake rubbed his chin some more then closed his eyes.

{What to do. What to do.. Kalik might be very right about waiting for a larger group, however we can not wait until this force is released upon the world or worse just pop up on our doorsteps for a nightcap.}

Drake opened his eyes and stared at Kalik, Merrill, Keillia then finally looked to Amanda. He had ran different scenarios through his mind, most turned out bad however he had stand by his convictions, the fated path that laid before him. He nodded to everyone. "Those who want to come pack your gear, we need information and we can not sit idly while a threat like this sturs. However, if I give the word to back out, there will be no if and or buts. I am not your leader, but I swear not to allow any one of you come to harms way."

"Well at least we know it's not Apocalypse. That's good." Amanda said as she looked at Keillia.

Keillia nodded. "Yes. I'm sure no one wants to deal with him at the moment." She looked back at Drake. "I would be more than happy to go with you, but I fear I might be needed here. At least until we find out what's going on with the mansion and the teams that left."

Amanda looked at Keillia and Kalik. She knew that they would probably be needed, since they were to of the senior members. She, however, didn't really have a place in the X-Men yet. "I can go with Drake. We can go and scope things out. If there is any sign of trouble we'll get out of there and wait until we can return with a team. How does that sound Drake?" Amanda asked.

Drake nodded in agreement, "I understand, it might be easier with just two. A group would probably have a higher chance of being noticed."

Drake shook everyone's hand again, "We will stay in touch with you to let you know what we find or most likely get your expertise on the surroundings."

He turned to Amanda, "Would you rather take the evening to rest with all thats happen, or shall we head out if you are prepared?"

Drake was anxious to head out but not anxious enough to head out unprepared or unrested with the events that occurred. He looked up toward the sky as if acquiring guidance from the gods. He could still feel the uneasiness and rage from the encounter. {What could be so evil and so pure of evil.. the world can not survive another destructive force as Apocalypse. May the Gods help us all if its far worse} He narrowed his eyes in thought then glanced back to Amanda and the group.

Amanda looked at Keillia and the others and then back to Drake. "No, I don't need any rest. Actually, it'll be nice getting of the grounds for awhile." She looked back at Keillia and Kalik hoping that they weren't going to to stop them.

Keillia nodded. "Alright, but at the first sign of trouble haul your asses back here. We don't need anyone else getting hurt."

"We will." Amanda nodded and then looked at Merrill. "Do you want to come with us?"

"Hell to the no." Merril shook his head. "I'm not much of an adventurer. The two of you be careful though."

"Okay." Amanda nodded and looked at Drake. "Shall we head off then?"

Drake nodded to Keillia and the others, "Agreed. Recon only no need to engage at this moment. We need to acquire information only."

He stepped up to Amanda then gave everyone else a big thumbs up, "Alrighty, We will keep in contact. See you all soon."

Drake scooped Amanda up into his large arms as his body began to give our a light green misty aura. He had a huge grinned growing across his face, as everyone around him could feel a build up of power and pressure. Before Amanda could get out another word, like you know we could teleport or take a jet.. Drake launched up into the air at full speed. The aura gradually engulfed Amanda to protect her from the pressure of high flight speeds. In seconds they were gone from sight, a green mist slowly disappearing the form was like a dragon's tail.
