The second season of Otogi Zoshi R0xx0rz!! It feels strange seeing Hikaru and the gang lipsynch to the tune of the theme in the opening credits, but I think they pulled it off real nicely; the song fits the overall mood and having the usual fluid animation doesn't hurt one bit.

It's a real bold turn to have a title switch into a radically different genre in the middle of the series--from medieval action to modern thriller/mystery--and what a great move it was. I'm just hoping that they'd tie up both halves of the story so it wouldn't come out as a cheap gimmick.

meaning, no anime for two frikin long weeks, since i've no dsl, and naruto sucks ass.

but i have heared of the second season of otogi zoshi. some peeps hate it because manzairaku(sp?) didn't have as much part as he had in the first. he's just all mysterious and stuff.

though i'm currently digging up my links archive for anime sites that offer direct downloads of episodes on realmedia.. 40-60mb per episode, it's fine for me as long as i can pause/resume it -__-

Whatever happened to Naruto anyways? I heard it got replayed again, like what they did to Gundam Seed: Replayed the whole frickin' series just when it got to the final episode.

Mansairaku playing the mysterious guy popping in and out of the scene? Phooey. It's okay though...At least the all-new look to Otogi Zoshi still snags my utmost attention.

i don't give a fuckin damn to naruto. let it be murdered by abscbn; it's already seeping in filler episodes and lame characters anyway.

but on all the anime aired on the local channels, i'd say the biggest letdown was fullmetal alchemist. why did they have to remove it?? it's one of the most amazing anime in history, and they take it out after five episodes?? what is the problem with them?!

anyways, about otogi zoshi.. yeah, the stuff looks cool.. but upon seeing some screenies, i kinda miss the first season's artwork. i also noticed some badly proportioned bodies in some shots.

and i doubt i'll be seeing hikaru in a school uniform O.o

I thought what she wore in the start of the second season was her school uniform o_o;. But true, it's not in the traditional sailor fuku style.

Bad proportions? It's incredible you guys have the Vulture's Eye when it comes to the nitty-gritty. I just...watch.

i'm just nitpicking about the animation quality. i mean, the first season was amazing. Production IG is one of my favorite when it comes to anime, so it kinda is a letdown for me to see those screenies.

and i can't talk about the 2nd season's story, since i don't know it.

two things I don't like about otogi zoshi:
I hate the eyes!! Very gross. XD
and its first impression on me was a typical forest-and-orc quest/rp. XDD

Me... I have a strange attraction to Twin Spica and Megami Kohousei (Candidate for Goddess) XD
So shoot me. :P

I've been meaning to watch Candidate for Goddess, but my odd sched won't permit me :( As for Twin Spica, I do think it's a promising series from the few episodes I manage to catch. There's one thing I noticed though: sometimes the episodes alternate between the flashbacks and the present. Isn't that a tad too confusing?

The glowing hair was what attracted me to Candidate for Goddess. ^^;; :P
Twin Spica... I liked the idea of a really naive little girl wishing to become a space pilot and taking her father and Mr. Lion to other planets... like some kinda taxi. :P I thinks its an anime with a deep storyline. Either that or I'm wacko. :wacko:

Twin Spica *is* a drama with a deep storyline. How I wish I could watch all of the episodes.

about twin spica, it's kind of heart touching. ive seen the episode last sunday when Mr. Lion's girlfriend married another man and he was crying... it almost made me cry... almost.

as for initial d <_< what a waste!! i don't recommend watching it... the dubbing sucks. really...

wee i just recently watched initial d fourth stage and i think it's really cool :lol: :lol: (i didn't watch the dubbed version i watched it in subtitiled hehehe) it's a mix of cars, speed, and a little romance ^_^ ^_^

early halloween treat... watch animax every sunday at 9:00pm... you'll get goosebumps /heh :lol:

well.. i watch astro and at channel 15... there is animax...

but... ughh!! it suxx... because practically 3/4 of the screen is dedicated to people who sms and then post it over there, and they talk and talk... /e1

PLUS, there is NO subtitles... which means u can either watch them talk in japanese and for me, (I don't know japanese) I cant understand it!! Unless you hear them talk in english... which is... really.... really really weird.... >_< for me anywayz...

But, I'm in Malaysia... so maybe your animax is different... XD
