As some of you may have noticed, the forums have been a tad revamped. The layout has been tweaked ever so slightly (made less wide...better for people with smaller screen resolutions and also looks a little better I think). Also, some new forums and categories have been added. There is also now an admin area, which you can't really see if you're not an admin...but still, it's there. I hope that the new boards will add more diversity into the things that you can talk about here at WC.

Well, I have made some more changes to the forums. Some more important main threads have been added, also I'm going to try to get one of my crazy friends (yes, I actually have friends that are not my computer, as hard as it may be for you to believe) to do some advertizing and all-around running around randomly on the forums and posting stuff. It would be good if we could start getting Wolf Cavern into action mode... It's sad, when I first started this site, we were lucky to get one hit per day and there wasn't very much content. Now we have over thirty good-sized pages, a nicer layout, forums layout...well, we've just made some good progress overall. And we're ranked quite high on the topsites lists that we're on. Now, we just need to start role-playing and chatting. If you think that role-playing here might sound like fun, start posting! Don't worry about people thinking you're weird because there's nobody else here, because eventually, there might be. And I'm going to keep trying to get some people here to make these forums go 'round.

In other news, I'm sorry that I haven't been updating the main site lately, but I've had some busy streaks with school and other things, also I've been working on coding WC it's own RPG. Yes, an actual one. Where you have a character and can move around and do stuff....and stuff. Yeah, it's quite primitive so far, but I'm hoping to launch it sometime in the near future, maybe sometime next year. I'm also trying to get a PayPal account somehow (maybe I'll just use one of my relative's, since I'm technically not old enough yet to have my own...), that way I can start collecting donations and people can start adopting real animals and literally save them. And that's all for now, I'll try to update the main site within the next few days or so.

*takes place on the soapbox* AHEM!! ...Yes. Well then, now that I've got your attention, I suppose it's time for the next newsflash that periodically appears. First of all, I'd like to give a big thank-you to our newest members, Zetsumei Ookami and mayonka, for being so very active on this forum. It's a pleasure to have the two of you role-playing here.

On another note, it appears as though the topsite lists we're on are currently down (I guess bvdesigns.net decided to crash again...or something), so we won' be drawing too much attention for the next little while.

As per usual, I'll make a statement as to what I will be doing with the forums (on a technical perspective) within the next few days. First of all, I'm going to code a style-switcher just in case some people are growing bored with this skin which we've basically had since the beginning of time. This one will still be on it, of course.

Also, I'm going to start thinking about plot details for an entire WC-wide role-play that will include everybody. If anyone has any ideas to contribute to what will be a massive role-play, which will occur....um, I haven't decided on what board(s) it will take place on. Or when it will happen, for that matter. Yes, what a very organized webmistress I am. ^.^' Sarcasm, of course. Anyhoo, feel free to send me any ideas, they'll be greatly appreciated.

Yep, we finally got ourselves a podium. Makes this seem more important than our old soapbox. And besides, I needed that for, y'know, holding soap. <.<' *truck'd*

Anyhoo, now for a quick update on WC's main site. For those of you who have actually been paying attention, you've probably noticed that our "short hiatus" isn't so short anymore. Well, now that exams are over (AND I'M STILL ALIVE!! WOOHOO!!), I'll have more time to work on fixing my computer. I've been trying to avoid using HTML and updating the site, because right now my faith in this computer is so low that I fear it may tell me that my programs have stopped responding, thus deleting everything I may have accomplished by then. This would result in an angry Silver rage, which in turn may result in me punching out this laptop's screen, and making the computer in an even more useless state than it is now.

So, this will probably continue for a few more days, and THEN I go to Florida for two weeks (yay happy for me, but not so happy for you if you thought I was just about to say I'd have the site revamped by then. Sorry to burst your bubble if that was the case. ;.; ). But, I'm thinking I'll probably put the site up before then, just replace the hiatus page with a primitive entrance so that people can at least access the site how it was before. Maybe I'll have a little site update. Just a small one though.

Well that's all for now, and I'll try to have an update ready within a week of me returning. To the best of my poor knowledge, I'll be back approximately around the 17th or July, assuming I'm leaving on the 3rd as originally planned. While I'll certainly be going there to have some fun in the sun (y'know, get skin cancer, get eaten by sharks... yeah, the normal stuff. ^.^), I'm also going there on a bit of business, as well. I've got a few connections in Florida, and I feel they'll help me further my little independant webdeveloping company (not really a company, seeing as I'm the only one that works there... moreso "individually freelance").

About that, I'll be getting my own PayPal account soon, and then I'll be able to make monetary transfers much easier (a LOT easier than doing it through my sister's account, that's for sure...), so if anyone want's me to build them a website/make a layout or something, I can (my rates are pretty good, too, and I'm flexible). I'll be making a little separate page on WC for this, so more details will be located there.

Okay, NOW that's it. I have a tendancy to ramble on and on about things as I think of more things to write, but I'm done now. I promise. Cya in a few weeks, peoples! Or.... Wolf Cavernians? I dunno, gotta think up some sorta title to collectively call you all by...

Hello from Florida! I've been here for a little over a week now, but it's rained almost every single day so my almost scarily pale skin has yet to catch any sign of tanning. *sighs* ..Oh well, I kinda liked my psudo-vampiricness. <.< >.>

Anyhoo, my return trip to Canada's been rebooked to the 23rd. *whine* And because I've limited Internet access, coupled by being extremely busy, that means that site progress will require being pushed ahead for about another week. I know you may be disappointed, and so am I, but there's not much I can do about it. I mean, it's not like I can walk across the entirety of the USA.

But because of this, I promise that the site/forum update will be EVEN BETTER than what I said before. Yayness! So anyways, feel free to send me a PM or an email if you have any requests for page/forum updates or adding new pages/forums. Since I probably won't get many requests (if any), you can be just about 100% positive that I'll actually update/add what you ask.

Oh, and by the way, I'd like to take a moment to welcome our apparent new permanent member, Reiku the Fallen. I hope you have fun roleplaying and chatting with the other members (Evie and Ash, you two are now being collectively referred to as "other members" so that it sounds like there's lots of regulars here, okies? xD).

Just my luck, I have to revert to using my old laptop again. *le sigh* Long story, one that I'm not quite willing to go through right now. Let's just say that the result was a door knocking someone out, two nights of attempted repairs and me spending a few hours with a compulsive eye twitch.

Anyhoo, I'm FINALLY getting around to updating the site this weekend. I have a bunch of updates saved to Notepad that I haven't put up yet, so they should be up by Sunday at the latest.

Oh, and I also have to figure out how to change name colours. <.<' You can tell when you haven't accessed the Admin panel in a while when... Right, and Evie requested no pnik... I mean pink. So I'll honour that request, of course. I've never been one for pink myself, anyhoo.

And... I guess that's all for now. o.o' I'm actually going to start, y'know, role playing again instead of only doing my administrative duties and camping out on this News board. I've been having major rp withdrawls. And you guys have finally started making use of some of the other boards that weren't used much, so I'll head over there sometime too. Telling people why they suck and should be banned is always fun. xP

Anyhoo, Sil's compy is finally back up again. No more crappy 7-year-old laptops for meh! ^.^ Now I can stop neglecting this place. 0.o' There hasn't been much posting going on around here for a while, but Ash was around a few days ago. I think that was just to keep romaine_harper1974 from spamming, though (I'm not quite sure why you were posting so many ads, but, and no offense Romaine, your posts were becoming so standardized that I was beginning to think you were a bot or something. o.o'). In any case, I'm going to bulk email all of WC's members shortly. Which might be kind of odd, because people who joined years ago but have since forgotten about this place are gonna be like "What the heck is this?", and I shall laugh. xP

I've been kinda procrastinating even IRL lately; I'm failing two of my courses due to incomplete work, and my social life is practically nonexistent. ^.^' BUT, know that even if I won't be around all too much this weekend; I have not, nor will I ever forget about WC and everyone here. (The main site is having some new pages added to it, as well, and I'm planning a layout change soon. Remember to PM me with ideas! ^.^)
