Obi-Wan sat in his dimly lit room deepening his meditation. His crisp blue eyes closed shut, and chin lowered a bit as he relaxed his mind. Minutes stretched out before him, giving him a first hand perspective to the energy about him. The Jedi temple was the clear beacon from where he began his ritualistic honing of mind and spirit. He could feel the tantalizing energy of complicated minds, the younglings in the training grounds, the Masters in chambers... Then his mind stretched out further, in the outreaches of the universe he could almost feel the minds of the other “Force sensitive” as if they were standing before him. His brow furrowed as he felt a vision come to him, the sight of something he did not want to believe as a possible truth or future.

Heat; molten heat and bright fires… the earth moving like yellow and red liquid… the clash of sabers and the face of a young man he did not know… His eyes flashed open, the candlelight illuminating his orbs into pinpoints of azure blue. Sweat had beaded upon his forehead, his heartbeat rapid, breath shortened… With a labored sigh, Obi-Wan stood up and walked to the lavatory, washing cold water upon his face. Hands gripped the edges of sink as he stared at his own reflection. His hand rubbed against his face again as he tried to push away the nightmarish vision. Tossing the hand towel aside he made his way out of the apartment and on his way toward the open grounds of the temple. It was a day of rest for Ben. He hated that. He liked to stay moving, keep his mind from drifting to the nightmares.

As the compartment traveled skyward, he remained stoic, but a school-boy smirk remained on Kenobi's face. Doors opened with a hiss, and he exited on the top floor of the temple. Here it was far different than the lower floors. Green, thriving lush plants and open walls… Padawan children ran and played. He walked to his favorite spot, a bench under the willow trees that grew in this man-made sanctuary, sitting down to observe. The Younglings ran about. One boy in particular caught his eye, a child that resembled Kenobi a lifetime ago. Round faced, rosy cheeked… his mouth an upturn of unadulterated joy as he ran alongside the others. They were playing a game, the object being to keep a small sphere from touching the ground as each team worked to make a goal. It was marvelous for him to see their Force gifts at work for something this simple; not for the fight, the war… The boy’s white-blonde hair was overly long; he wasn’t yet a Padawan, but his skills with the older boys and girl was extraordinary.

This was more than just a sanctuary for Obi-Wan; this was where he realized the gravity and magnitude of his duty as a Jedi Master. It was reflected in every face, every Youngling that passed him by with barely a second glance. This was what he was fighting the Clone Wars for... His feet were tucked up under the mass of brown robes, his dark blonde locks of hair astray, and now much longer than they had been before, dancing across his cheekbones, some tied back at the nape of his neck with a rushed hand. He was in need of a shave, but the light hue of stubble didn't spoil his look. Dark blonde locks danced across his cerulean eyes as he blinked at the gleam of the days dying light on the small pool of water. As he pushed to stand, his digits ran across stubbled cheek and mouth, legs carrying him back to the lift so that he could meet with master Yoda.

--

“Master Yoda, are you sure you want to put all of your trust into me for this mission? Don’t you think it would be better suited for someone who was not responsible for the error in the first place? If it wasn’t for me Anakin wouldn’t be in this predicament.” Kenobi walked with the small green Jedi toward the main vestibule, his tone lowered for obvious reasons.
“Blame yourself you should not. Walk his own path… the boy does.” He was right, Obi-Wan knew this, but it was hard to not instinctually feel to blame for something that had happened to his former Padawan.
“His own man, Skywalker is, Master Kenobi. Responsible you are not.” Kenobi folded his arms under the deep pockets of his sleeves, hiding them behind his back as the pair neared the open doorway.

Blue eyes squinted against the blaze of sunlight that was swiftly leaning toward shades of vermillion and purple. Twilight was one of his favorite hours on Coruscant, the traffic never seemed quite as monotonous, the sun wasn’t blinding off the sheen of every freighter and transport that came if for docking, and the minds of the city’s inhabitants were in a strange sort of harmony with the physical attributes of this living tapestry of motion and metal. As a woman walked toward them, Yoda greeted her and then presented Kenobi.
“Called for you I did, thank you the counsel would like.” Yoda gestured to the flaxen haired man at his side.
“Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, this is.”

Ben relaxed his stance, bringing his arms around his back so that he might offer the woman a warmer gesture. His hand closed with temperate strength about hers as he nodded slightly.
“It is my pleasure to meet you.” He released her hand. Yoda interjected.
“Excuse me you must, Obi-Wan will explain why summoned you have been.”
“I shall do my best, May the Force be with you Master Yoda.” The tiny green man nodded before turning to depart, his cane marking the slow tempo of his walk. Ben strolled with the woman toward the overhanging platform before continuing to speak.
“How comfortable are you with doing some more reconnaissance missions for the Jedi Order?”
He felt a twinge of something nearby on the surface, and then the screams caught his attention. Immediately his eyes brightened in agitation, and he looked to her.
“If you’ll excuse me a moment?”
With that he leapt up onto the railing and plunged down through the traffic of cars, using his gifts to slow his decent.

He was falling faster than he was comfortable with, not knowing if he was going to be able to slow himself enough not a break a bone; he didn’t have time to sit and meditate before the leap, prepare himself the energy to push upward with such a force that it ensured his safety, so a hand shot out with a tow cable neatly tucked into the palm. Tossing the line up and outward, Kenobi managed to latch it a hold the precipice of an adjacent building and swing between the crisscrossing traffic without getting himself pulverized.

He tucked and landed with a quick roll to his feet, and in seconds was off running toward the shots and screams at the end of the surface level street. Passersby barely had time to notice him as the blur of robes and sandy blonde hair weaved in and out of the pedestrian traffic. It was as bad on the surface as it was in the air… it was wonder the planet didn’t collapse in on itself from the sheer force of mental and mechanical concentration that resided here. Stepping into the seedy bar, Master Kenobi sized up the occupants. His breathing was still a bit heavy, but rapidly coming under control. It was easy to tell that something was amiss here. A dead man lay on the floor, a second badly bruised and bleeding leaned on the countertop, scared faces tried their best to look calm and occupied with other business other than the woman in Mandalorian armor.

Aquila Ceres Sarin sat in a lotus style position on her room's floor where she felt comfortable. The room was illuminated only by the circle of lit candles that she was position within the center of to help her maintain her focus. It was during this time, she received visions of the Darkside of the Force guiding her on what she must do to achieve her goal. That was to alter Anakin Skywalker's fate to change the Chosen One's destiny from becoming Darth Vader. Thankfully, her door was locked so her true form wouldn't be discovered by the Jedi within the Temple as her hair was midnight black once more and her eyes were ghostly blue in appearance because she was physically blinded from a battle years ago against another Jedi turned towards the Darkside, Darth Moirai. The vision she received was on a fiery planet of molten lava and rock where two jedis once allies now were battling each other. As it progressed she was able to see the identities of both of them, Obi-wan and Anakin. The Darkside was telling her that the future was remaining the same. A frown curled on her crimson lips disgusted with her failed attempt but she still had a chance to alter it to save Anakin.

Opening her eyes coming out of the mediation as it was time to meet up with Master Yoda glancing at the clock. Coming to a stand she blew out the candles before using the Darkside to alter her appearance once more to the way she was before her corruption to the Darkside. Her eyes were hazel prior to the blindness and her hair was brown. Clad in the traditional tan Jedi Knight attire instead of her black robe she exited her room heading to where Master Yoda said to meet.

Seeing the familiar green skinned Master Jedi and the other man which she had recognized from her vision although she had known Obi-wan Kenobi for quite sometime since her training within the Jedi Temple began years ago. Extending her arm out to greet him as she shook Obi-wan's hand with her black gloved hand hiding the ring she was wearing underneath, a gold band with a crimson stone embedded on the metal but it was felt easily as he shook her hand. "It is a pleasure to meet you finally, Master Kenobi."As Yoda was making his leave she said goodbye to him for now, "May the Force be with you Master Yoda.."

Turning as she walked alongside Master Kenobi as he inquired about her feelings toward doing more reconnaissance missions for the council. As he asked that question it sparked a memory of the last mission she did with her Master who was also her husband in secret, Master Taurine Du-Quai, a man who was also a cousin to the late Qui-Gon Jinn. That last mission was at a planet where they discovered the tomb of Exar Kun. It was where she found the ring and placed it on her finger corrupting her towards the Darkside. Little did she know that her husband was alive out there somewhere. Neither one of them realized the other was alive and had fallen to the Darkside as the Spirit of Exar Kun gave them both the false memories of them fighting and killing each other on that planet. Blinking some before finally snapping out of it she answered his question, "Yes, of course. I will do whatever I can to serve the Council and The Force's will." Smiling warmly to him as she spoke.

Sensing the disturbance as well and despite Obi-wan saying, 'Excuse me a moment' she followed leaping as well to assist him. Using the Force to help her land safely as she sprinted not too far behind able to keep up. Entering the seedy bar she scanned the area before coming upon the woman clad in Mandalorian armor which reminded her of Moirai but also of her biological father who was also a Mandalorian/Bounty hunter. Her eyes narrowed some as she started to approach the woman clad in the armor her hands at her sides close to the lightsabers she had hooked on her belt incase this confrontation turned to violence which apart of her wanted regardless. Aquila wanted that thrill of the battle. "Causing problems already?"

"Causing problems already?"
Ben shared a wizened smirk, "Me? - Cause problems? I think you've missed the debriefing on my tactics young lady."
Stepping into this haven of debauchery and gluttonous behavior, Master Kenobi was assured that he preferred the temples to this sort of seedy lifestyle, but he didn’t blame the society for its presence. It was all part of the spectrum of humanity. For every ying there had to be a yang; for every action there was a reaction. The place settled down as the Mandalorian woman ran out of the back door. He made pursuit to follow, until he realized that the bounty hunter wasn’t what had drawn him here. There was something darker, something that embraced the Darkside like a warm blanket… Cerulean eyes widened as he caught the aura the Darkside practitioner was emitting. Like a vapor trail from a passing ship he stepped to the side as the Sith neared him. The smirk playing off his lips as he deliberately bumped shoulders with him.

Perhaps it was arrogance, or simply his way, but Kenobi didn’t bother to try and conceal his presence to the Sith in question. He watched as he boldly walked past; even remained silent and reserved as this ‘thing’ growled in his direction and gave a few choice words. Aquila, touched his shoulder and the seriousness returned to his face. His neck popped as he tilted his head to the side, he turned toward the door, tightness in his jaw. He nodded to Aquilla that she should assist as he exited. Without hesitation or urgency Master Kenobi began to trail the dark apprentice. His psyche caught the Sith’s mental prodding, but he did nothing to shield that he was in fact following.

An offhanded glance caught the trail of smoke in the skyline; the ship that was nearing the temple was cruising in at such a fast rate he was internally wincing in anticipation of the crash. It was too far away for him to assist, and he could already imagine the amount of damage that was going to be done to the outside of the building. The structure wasn’t his concern it was the people inside… Eyes closed as he reached out toward the first available mind, touching briefly with Master Yoda to empathically warn him of the events that were unfolding. The mental connection wasn’t in anything as simple as words, but the empathic linking was easy to establish with the ancient Jedi; the general warning of danger was conveyed, he could only hope that it was in time.

His patient footfalls continued until he felt a spike in the Sith’s energy. He was up to something, the sickening sweet bile had returned to the back of his throat as the intensity of anger and malice had redoubled. For a few brief seconds the street, the pedestrian traffic, and the din overhead… it was all gone. Flashes of the near future came to him; Scratching at his mind with sharp talons. It was almost painful for him to experience the sheer horror of the sight; Chunks of building falling into the street. Screaming dismembered charred younglings crushed and mangled beyond recognition… Kenobi’s knees weakened as he realized what the Sith was intending to do.

His footfalls gave way to running now, his mindset on stopping him. As he turned the corner, his boot jarred the lip of the mine, nudging it ever so slightly. The Jedi threw his arms up in defense. The hits were in tandem. As the explosion hit, Kenobi managed to get a bubble of Force energy pushed out, separating him from a guaranteed death, but unfortunately sending him sailing though the air and then across the pavement into the side of a parked cruiser. The dent left from his figure was incredible. A shaky hand lifted to his head, he felt the tackiness of blood, and his vision swam as he noted his crimson-coated fingertips. The world went black and for a few long minutes he knew nothing.

Aquila merely smirked at Obi-wan as she spoke, "Perhaps so." Entering inside as the stench of debauchery and the gluttonous behavior was overwhelming. It appeared stronger to her because of her physical blindness although that was masked by her illusion embracing the Darkside of the Force to blind Obi-wan of who she truly was. Her stance staggered only temporarily before she recovered. When the Mandalorian woman left it was more apparent of the other disturbing presence within the seedy bar. Her hazel eyes shifted over to the glowing crimson silhouette, a male figure, one strong in the Darkside of the Force. This was how she truly saw people with her sight through auras. For those strong in the Force they emitted a light blue color to her, those strong in the Darkside casted a crimson almost blood color, and those with no Force connection appeared in a green hue.

Touching Obi-wan's shoulder letting him know that this wasn't the place to confront the Sith. Nodding slowly as they exited the bar in pursuit of the Sith. Following Obi-wan's eyes witnessing the smokey ship that was about to strike the Jedi Temple. Her lips thinned out of concern but she wasn't able to stop it either from happening.

Turning her attention back on the dark apprentice they were pursuing only then to witness Obi-wan being hurled into a parked cruiser from the explosion. Crossing her arms in an 'X' managing to shield herself with a Force shield however the impact was still strong enough to make her fall back landing awkwardly but she would survive. Getting up and sprinting over to him touching his neck with her black gloved fingertips for a pulse. Good, he's alive , She thought as she saw that Obi-wan slipped into unconsciousness.

Her hazel eyes narrowed as she glared at the dark apprentice letting her illusion fade for the time being as she tapped into the Darkside of the Force causing her eyes to revert ghostly blue and her hair midnight black. Angry flowed through her veins as she extended her hand out using the Force to choke the Sith lifting him off the ground. Her other hand raised as sparks of purple electric energy formed into lightning bolts having them pierce through him in an attempt to kill him.

Once she was finished her illusion was casted once again masking her ties to the Darkside turning as she headed over to the injuried Master Kenobi. Scooping up his limp form carrying him over her shoulder as she returned to the Jedi Temple taking him to her room so she could treat his injuries. Laying him on the bed she placed her black gloved hands hovered over his form concentrating as she manipulated the Force to heal his body using the midichlorians as an extra boost to help him recover. A faint red glow emmited from her left hand where Exar Kun's ring was located but it was concealed to a degree from the gloves she wore.

It was late, the drone from the constant stream of space traffic was a white-noise in the background, and he lay atop the bedding half in, half out of slumber until he sensed a presence in the room. Warm hands were pressed against his bare chest. A moan of protest worked up out of him as he stirred. Hand clamed about the wrist of the woman with Jedi reflex speed, gripping tight enough to bruise. Stomach tightened, and immediately he shifted to defensive mode. His brow was darkened with the possibility that he was in danger, but quickly his expression shifted to that of concern when he realized that he had just been sensing this young woman’s restless mind.
"Aquilla?" his words were clearly confused.

Embarrassment was apparent on his face as he looked down at this half robed attire. A lot of hair had fallen out of the tie-back at the back of his neck and as he shifted to get up it fell to obscure his azure stare. Letting go of her hand, Ben broke eye contact and then suddenly came back quickly.
"What happened on the surface? What of the Sith we encountered? And of the ship I saw about to hit the temples?"
Pushing up from the bed, Master Kenobi leaned to procure his robes from the back of the chair, surprised at how good he felt. His hand flexed open and then shut as he tested his reflexes.

Stuffing his arms into the sandy coloured robes, he folded the fabrics over his torso with practiced ease. Mind recalled how hard it was to figure out how things went together the first time he was given the attire of a Master. Walking toward the door, he swung the heavy brown cloak over his shoulders and glanced back, clearly worried.
"Thank you for your assistance, but if there's been an accident I really must go and assist Master Yoda."
Formalities and manners was part of the reason Obi-Wan was informally dubbed "The Negotiator" in many sectors of the known galaxy.

Aquila's eyes widened as she didn't anticipate her actions would stir this response as he grabbed her wrist rather tightly causing a bruise underneath the gloves. Feeling him sense her restless mind only made her become defensive as her mind put up a mental block as if to keep him from probing too far. She didn't want him to discover her connection to the Darkside of the Force. "Yes, Master Kenobi. It is, me. You are safe now."

Seeing him look down as he was partially nude speaking again, "I had to remove some clothing to help treat your injuries. You had a few fractured ribs from the impact and a few scratches here and there. Possibly a concussion as well considering you were knocked out." Aquila appeared rather exhausted as if using the Force to heal him had drained her it even weakened her illusion on her appearance having a few strands of black hair mixed with her brown hair. Even for a moment her eyes had reverted to their ghostly blue hue.

"The ship didn't strike the temple because Master Yoda stopped it from crashing. As for the Sith.." Aquila paused debating on her words before finally speaking she didn't wish to go in to detail as the way she had killed the Sith exhibited Darkside abilities which the Council considered to be unnatural. "He's dead."

Nodding slowly, "I shall come with you. Now, that you are in better condition I can help Master Yoda as well." Heading to the door with him exiting her room.

Col-bi watched as he the seasoned space pirate was strapped into the dilapidated pilot seat of the Vengeance (a worthy spacecraft; if you could ignore the looks of it) and work callused fingertips over the controls as easily as he tied his shoes. Seth Kenobi knew his vessel from the inside out. Like most of the motley collection of crewmembers, the ship had its quirks, but that was all part of its charm, much like its Captain. He thumbed the last drive cell above his head, grinning as the hyper drive engines roared to life. Flaps folded in, the drives worked fuel though the lines and then just before the crew all signaled in that they were ready, he glanced over to Col-Bi.
"Just waiting on you now Emban." Music roared though the system, in tandem with the drive. Seth howled along with the lines as he was kicked back against his seat. Stars flattened out, forming into a series of white trails as the ship roared though hyper speed.

Hours later, an eye-catching man saddled up next to the scruffy blonde haired rogue. Seth had fallen asleep in his chair, his boots on the consol. Sensors were bleeping that they were nearly in range of the Coruscant system.
“Sir...? Captain?” his deep voice boomed, as he shook Seth’s shoulder.
“Huh… what?”
“Sir, we’re in range of the system… did you want me to inform the crew?”
Sleepily Captain Kenobi yawned and nodded, sliding his boots off the controls, “Yeah, thanks Jonash… You know wait. On second thought, I’ll go and do it. I could use a stretch. You ok to bring her in on your own Emban?”
"It's under control Sir…" Col-bi looked up from her controls. Holding back the urge to tell her Captain that she'd been flying the Vengeance since he'd nodded out some time prior. Pointing out Captain Kenobi's faults and getting an earful of curmudgeon-inspired backlash wasn't how she wanted to start her morning. Eyes watched as he and Jonash departed, returning to the controls and the window of the cockpit.

“Come on you bucket of bolts kick back in!”
Her boot kicked hard against the jammed pitch control, glancing up as fire from displaced re-entry washed orange over the reinforced window. The Vengeance was punching through the atmosphere too fast and at the wrong angle. Thanks to one of Jonash's Solo's special modifications one of the ship's aforementioned 'quirks' had decided to shut down at the wrong time. Digits fished for her belt without breaking eye contact on her work. Her body braced for impact. It was hard to register where the ship was going to hit, anywhere on this planet of constant movement and near living steel would prove disastrous. Even with the aid of an escape pod the odds of surviving something like this was mind-blowing.
"Captain?" Col-bi radioed over the ship's loudspeaker, "…we have a little problem with our entry sequence, so we may experience some slight... turbulence and then explode." Digits replaced the receiver, punching her thumb against the reverse engine switch again.

“Come on baby, be nice to Momma, and start up.”
Flick of switches she felt the purr of her baby but it was too late to do much more then try to pull up then the engine stutter again.
"No, baby, come on.”
Head turned to the left checking the side as she spotted smoke coming from behind. Head glanced back to the voice of Jonash as he ducked through the entranceway of the cockpit, followed by Captain Kenobi. Thought of having that part fixed she grumbled under her breath.
"We're gonna explode? I don't want to explode!" he tried to joke off his fear of eminent death.
“Not much I can do now” Hand reached in front of her trying to get anything to work. Muttered words she knew if she did not get her baby to start she wouldn’t be in the land of the living anymore, which in any case didn’t really scare her. She’d seen too much as it was. Had killed just to survive and even stolen items at times just to get some credits. A jolt of the seat Col-bi’s head whipped back.
“Ok, that’s new” Slightly dazed she saw small orbs circle in her vision.
“Not today you aren’t”

Talking to herself was something to keep her mind occupied while she tried to figure out a way to get her mind around the fact that if she didn’t act quickly within the next two minutes she would be blown up. Crack of neck she did the only thing she could think of, trying to pull up again. “I blame you Jonash for this”

Just as Col-bi thought the ship would impact with a building, she felt a slight shift in her. Eyes looked to the controls, but nothing was working. “Are we floating in mid air?” Rise of brow she unbuckled leaning forward as she watched the ship's descent to the landing pad. When the ship touched down with a light thud, she turned to her Captain. “Don’t tell me, Jedi Temple” She was anything but happy to be landing there.

Wizened eyes did not fail to notice the minute changes in Aquila's appearance, but he refrained from comment for the moment. This wasn't the venue for inquiry, he was not making excuses when he made mention to assist Master Yoda. But although his eyes and mouth did not betray him, his mind instinctively reached outward to touch more deeply upon hers. The bite of what he felt stunted his probe. She felt cold, detached from the order, almost alien to him. Eyes widened slightly, and then turned down to the floor as he did not want to reveal what he'd experienced. He felt both frightened, and dismayed. Two emotions that were wholly not what he'd expected of someone who had just healed his injuries.

"If you wish, I'm sure Master Yoda will welcome the assistance."
A quick nod of his head, and Ben turned to depart; glancing over only once while they briskly jogged toward the point of near impact and the landing platform just adjacent. Strides fell back from hastened pace to an even tempered walk as he felt out the minds across the platform. Standing before the massive ship, the small green mentor stood with arms folded inside his robes. Yoda did not look upset in the slightest, if anything Obi-Wan ventured that Yoda appeared almost bemused at all of this.

His long-legged gait closed the gap between them, his own postures mirroring that of the dwarfed master. From under his brown hood, Obi-Wan again glanced over in the direction of Aquila, wondering about her. She appeared normal to him now. The imperfections of character that were apparent in her quarters all but vanished. Her eyes were no longer ghostly blue, and the deep ebony strands of hair no longer bisected the chestnut brown that she had tied into a knot at the back of her neck.
"I am familiar with this vessel…" he blurted with surprise, "This is the Vengeance. But what would this ship be doing here in the heart of the galaxy?"
Ben's words fell upon mute ears, the only response coming from the ship as it's ramp opened upon the deck with a hiss of hydraulics.

The other presence within Aquila, Exar Kun detected Obi-wan's attempt to reach out into her mind but he prevented Master Kenobi from venturing too far discouraging him as he wasn't strong enough yet to allow himself to be discovered. If Exar had not intervened considering Aquila's weakened state from healing Master Kenobi he would have succeeded in finding out the truth in greater detail. Looking at him although she didn't see him react only that his eyes widened revealing a look of fright.

"I'm sure he will." Referring to what he said about Master Yoda welcoming her assistance. Following with him now as they jogged to the impact sight. Coming to a stop seeing Master Yoda there with a bemused expression on his face. Crimson lips only curled into a smile which could be easily mistaken as a greeting but actuality the thought going through her mind was this, " Cocky, old, fool. His arrogance blinds him just like the others. It shall be their undoing.. "

Feeling Obi-wan's gaze upon her made her look directly at him Sensing his uncertainities however she didn't know the connection with them. "You know of this ship?" Raising a brow in inquiry as she listened to him. Detecting the occupants within the vessel one of them inparticular appeared to be very familiar to someone she had already known. "Hmmm.." It was all she said as the ramp began to form from the ship showing that the crew aboard were about to exit.

Focus was locked forward. Not that the entire mind was needed at this point. Over the years of flying, among other things, Seth Kenobi was a jack of all trades. Which didn’t come without bragging rights. He, as well as his crew, knew the man could fly this thing with his eyes closed. Though in all honesty they’d rather he didn’t. Driving wasn’t the issue, how well one took the turns was. Digits wrapped around the gear shift bringing it back as eyes caught glimpse of a flickering light. Form stretched over pushing the lit up button downward. Even breaths entered and exited his lungs as actions mimicked one’s heartbeat. It was natural. Hand reached up flicking one of the last switches needed. Hazel colored orbs lined up sight with Col-bi, “Just waiting on you now Emban.” Corner of his mouth drew into a smirk. Giving a wink her direction finger rotated a knob adjusting the music that had been unnoticeable up a couple of notches. “I cut my nails and I quiver my thumb, I’m real nervous ‘cause it sure is fun. Come on baba. You drive me crazy… goodness gracious great balls of fire!” Form leaned back in his chair bringing his feet up to rest on the consol. Using his boot, he pushed up the very last lever that would bring the ship into the kind of momentum that got you places, fast.

Body lay almost completely motionless. Only to stir when chest moved up as the body inhaled, moving back down once lungs exhaled. Eyes were shut, fast asleep. No visions of nightmares plagued his subconscious. Sadly, no dreams did either. “Sir...? Captain?” A hand reached out gripping his shoulder, sending a shock of precaution through a quiescent body. Arm shot up quickly hand clenching Solo’s wrist strongly. When the initial surprise set in grip lessened quickly, “Huh… what?” “Sir, we’re in range of the system… did you want me to inform the crew?” Nodding towards the young man, Seth couldn’t help but let a yawn escape. Limbs returned boots to the floor as body shifted in the chair. “Yeah, thanks Jonash. You know wait… On second thought, I’ll go and do it. I could use a stretch.” Form turned toward the blond seated to his left, “You ok to bring her in on your own Emban?” Seth knew all to well she was capable, but still he wouldn’t let that ruin the fun of asking. She always got this look to her, he often wondered when the young lass was going to snap. Once again, not this time. "It's under control Sir…"

Taking headway to the young man who woke him. The captain took the left leading to a small hallway. Silence seemed to cling to the atmosphere as the two men walked. Breaking it Seth gave a slight look back, “Sorry about the wrist… You know sometimes it’s better to poke a man with a stick then shake him.” Laughing slightly Seth saw the look Solo was giving his direction, “yeah, I know… wasn’t funny.” Body shifted to his right as he waited for the door to open. Once the steel slid aside, the captain took a step inside leaning on the wall. Finger pushed down on the intercom button, “Just, thought I’d let you all know we’re descending into Coruscant. Get rea…” His words were interrupted. “Captain? …we have a little problem with our entry sequence, so we may experience some slight... turbulence and then explode." Legs didn’t even wait for the last bit to come over the speakers. Her tone when she said captain gave off something wasn’t on. Quickly he retraced steps with a quicker pace. Re-entering the cockpit the captain kept with her sarcastic quips, “We're gonna explode? I don't want to explode!" Her neck arched toward him, “Not much I can do now.” Seth knew she was right, even it they could get the ship to pull up. The only difference it would make was a smaller explosion.

There was no rush to his seat, working to strap himself in. That would do nothing. Eyes looked at the approaching city, time had run out for use of the escape pods. Shoot one of those off there was a good chance it be right into another building. Smile spread across his lips. Least he’d go out in a ball of fire. Somehow with the earlier singing, that made the sudden wave of panic break. All one could do was wait. And… wait. “Are we floating in mid air?” Eyes remained locked on the outside. The ship had stopped. Mid crash, now it was paralleling out with the surface of the planet. Moving towards a launch pad as if this was a planned landing. He heard words uttered that only mirrored with his thoughts. “Don’t tell me, Jedi Temple” Tone was full of detest for where the crew had landed. Seth Kenobi also shared the high aversion to the outcome of the crash. With the line of work Vengeance crew members partook in, landing in Jedi territory wasn’t really a great idea. Still it was more of who he was that made Seth dislike these turn of events so much more.

Col-bi watched as her Captain’s jaw clenched and the look on Jonash’s face. Nothing new in knowing none of them were pleased at all to be there, but yet grateful enough to know that they had a been saved. Standing up she looked at the pair folding her arms over chest. “No way, don’t you two give me that look” She knew what they were thinking and be damned if she was the one to go out there and greet the Jedi. Simply put she would say something that would get her in a heap load of crap not only by the Jedi but also by the Captain himself. He knew she at times never held back her tongue, even when times called for it and this was one of the times. “A Jedi may have saved our ass but I’m not going out alone”

“Col come on you’re right for the job at hand” She heard Jonash remark. Glare from her Jonash gave that classic smirk she had come to know. “If you weren’t a friend I’d shot you right on the spot.” Steps took her out only to be lightly grabbed by Seth “No, we were joking we all go out together” Look to the Captain she almost breathed a sigh of relief. Knowing him and Jonash, they would tease her later about it. Keeping her cool around them was something she had mastered a time ago. They always seemed to want to see what would be her breaking point.

Pulling from Seth she walked out hearing them follow behind. Hit of button the ramp began to open. “Emban watch your mouth” She barely heard Seth over the hiss of the hydraulics. Giving a nod she waited until the ramp stopped; stepping back, she gave a sweep of the arm to Jonash and Seth. She’d follow behind them, not as protection but as a way of keeping her mouth shut. “This is going to be interesting” Slap of shoulder Jonash smirked giving her a wink before he departed. Taking a breath to keep her mouth shut she followed.

Eyes wandered around the landing pad as she came up beside Jonash. Uncomfortable she was to be there, the Jedi could sense from people what they were feeling, and right now Col-bi was holding down suppressed anger and the need to do something. She looked to Jonash who nodded indicating he knew she was edgy. He stepped closer to her “Just keep your hands behind your back and bite that tongue of yours.”

Oh, she would be doing just that if not stepping off to the side letting him and Captain Kenobi deal with the Jedi. The strides of her Captain faltered slightly then took purposeful steps towards the three Jedi; she wondered what had made him falter. Look to Jonash who had noticed as well gave a shrug of shoulders. Nearing the three Col-bi stepped back away from them. It might have been rude but the alternative was not something she wanted to deal with. Folding of arms across chest, she watched the exchange. Ears perked up slightly when Seth began to speak.

“Ben, how nice to see you” His voice had come out sarcastic and almost deadpanned. She looked between the Jedi and the captain and swore under her breath. So this was Seth’s brother, Obi-wan Kenobi.

She took notice of Yoda who had started walking towards her, straightening of shoulders she looked to Jonash for help but he was too busy taking in the conversation between the brothers.

“Much anger I sense in you” Yoda commented
She stood there watching him for a few minutes unaware that Yoda himself was seeing what she would do. Shift of feet she put her arms behind her holding them in place and bit her tongue. She was not going to say anything. At the moment she wanted to say everyone has anger, some show some not. She noticed a nod from Yoda as he turned back towards the others. Sigh of relief left her. She must have done something right for once.

"You know of this ship?"
"In fact I do." He paused hesitating to reveal more to Aquila and Yoda until he thought better of it. The truth of his connection would be revealed in a matter of moments regardless of his want to delve into personal topics.
"Unless this ship has changed hands, the Vengeance is captained by my brother."
He shifted his weight slightly, his agitation to why Seth was here biting at the foreground of his thoughts. This was not a region of space in which an unscrupulous pirate like Seth Kenobi would frequent, so it begged to question why now? The tow-headed Jedi Master stiffened his frame as figures made shape on the gangplank. A woman of strong stature trailed behind two men. Obi-Wan did not recognize her, but the men were both well etched on the Jedi's memory. Jonash Solo was hard to forget. A good chap by all accounts; mechanically inclined and a native of Corellia. And where Jonash Solo walked, Seth Kenobi wouldn't be far off.

Bracing himself for the inevitable, Obi-Wan Kenobi took in an even controlled breath. Now the bemused expression upon Yoda's face made perfect sense. Nodding slightly toward the trio of mercenaries, he forced a smile. At the moment he was wishing that he was anywhere but here. But life it seemed was not without a sense of irony. Thankfully Master Yoda broke the ice, stepping forward to make with the formal introductions.
"Apologies, you do not need to make. Warn us, Master Obi-Wan did in time."
The group walked toward the interior of the temples, the voice of his brother chiming up.
“Ben, how nice to see you”
"Ben… Now that's a name I haven't heard in a long time. Indeed it's been too extensive a period since we've visited. I trust that life on the rim hasn’t changed you much?"
Obi-Wan got in a dig of his own - subtle, but brother to brother it was clear. Obi-Wan never did approve of Seth's "career" choice.Eager to shift topics, Obi-Wan turned to Solo
"Jonash, your mug is a welcomed surprise, though I dare say I hadn't expected to see you here in Coruscant…. at least not without the prodigal son nipping at your heels. That is unless Jaina's put her foot down."

Travel and the black was almost all Jonash knew. It was how he was raised. How he lived. Ingrained as part of him as much if not more than what his past really should have been. It didn't matter he didn't want much more out of life. He lead one of adventure, danger and often by the seat of his pants. At the same he was a married man with a son to turn 9 in a weeks time. If that was the only legacy he would have left so be it. Cruising the galaxies with Seth, Jon got his fill of plenty. Tired worn features turned up as the ship started to go down much faster than it should have.
"Who's flyin this thing!"
His voice shouted as movements quickly carried him to the bridge following behind Seth. Eyes rolled at the banter between the two and the prospect of actually bursting into a ball of flames. When blame was pointed his direction it was all he could do. Hand gripped hard against the seat as he balanced himself. Voice roaring back.
"My Fault!?"
Jerk of motion brought him forward between the pair. Cornflower blue orbs looking out the bay window as the ship, the Vengeance, floated mid air. There were very few forces that could actually stop a ship in such a decline. Head turned up to see Kenobi's features set.

Jedis. As everything righted Jonash moved, though he knew he wouldn't need it, he never left without a blaster at his side. Hand gripped the broken, and worn leather jacket pulling it up. Listening to Col complain. Smirk spread across his features.
"Col come on, you're right for the job at hand."
Though his age might have been elder than both there was always an air of roguish tease about him. Confidence. If not cockiness. Movements carried him past the blonde with a slap against her shoulder and a wink. Trio clamored down the dock into the open air of Courasnt. Form leaned into Col giving her a last moment of advice, knowing full well where their predicament had landed them. Brow creased at the light then the words from their Captains mouth.

Even comments made to Emban. Closed fist came up just under his nose, muffling a chuckle, at the words. Pirate and scoundrel though he might have been, Jonash knew plenty more. Shoulders rolled against the jacket worn over white shirt and blood crimson vest. Tawny hued pants covered his legs with a navy stripe running down the length of either side. Clearly much loved boots came up high just below the bend of his knee. Strong stance remained until distance was closed between himself and the younger Kenobi. Hard worked hand slapped a greeting against his shoulder with a squeeze.
"Jaina is a lot like you my friend. Thinking Seth may be a bad influence...but don't fret. That boy of mines a Solo through and through. "

"Brother?" So, that familiar feeling she sensed from the crew inside the Vengenance was accurate. One of the crew members, the captain of the ship was Obi-wan's brother. Her hazel eyes glanced at the trio as they stepped out exiting from the ramp.

Lips curled into a smirk as she heard Yoda walk up to the only female crew member and say, "Much anger I sense in you". For the moment she was glad that her illusion even clouded Master Yoda's senses hiding the ties she had to the Darkside of the Force. Her main concern was still that Obi-wan may have seen too much however.

Eyes shifting over to the two men as she listened hearing Seth call Obi-wan, Ben. "I didn't know you had a brother, Obi-wan..He does look just like you though."

Becoming quiet once more as Obi-wan spoke to the other man Jonash deciding to let the men speak to each other she instinctively walked over to Col-Bi. "Bumpy ride I take it." Attempting to break the ice since she could feel the uneasyness within this other woman.

Col-bi held back slightly as they began to walk towards the interior of the temple. She half listened to the conversation as they walked. Feeling the female Jedi come up next to her, she tensed slightly more. Mind thought back to Seth’s earlier comment of watching her mouth. Easy stride followed the group. Head turned listening to Aquila’s comment. "Bumpy isn’t the word I’d use, more like, oh no, we’re going to die.”
Tension didn’t easy from her but she let out a chuckle. How many times had she said that through the course of her life? Probably should become her motto, if you can’t say it at least once a day then heck you weren’t living life the right way.

Growing up she had only heard of places like Coursant from others. For the most part she had kept to herself stealing food until she was older then learning how to handle a gun, that’s when things had become interesting for her. Living where the only people you met where pirates you learn quickly to follow instincts. Hands folding over chest one again. She suppressed a yawn, the trip here she had been awake, while Seth had slept. She preferred the odd hours of it all. Most times Seth sat with her only to dose as he always did. Sometimes she wondered if he just did it to get her going or just to get her to talk. Neither which he had managed. Something’s were better left in the recesses of a person’s mind.

The group had stopped; the conversation still flowed around her. As usual, Col-bi when it didn’t concern her thoughts drifted, though she may not appear to be listening she was always aware of what was being said. Eyes watched as Master Yoda took his leave. This time she was not able to suppress the yawn. Hand came up covering her mouth as she blinked. The rush of near death was gone replaced by the need for her body to want to rest. “As much as I’m enjoying this” She wasn’t enjoying any of it, but she was tired and didn’t much care to hear the rest of the conversation. “ Think I can grab some shut eye in this…” Glare from Seth she trailed off. Was she running her mouth again? Shrug of shoulders she didn’t care at this point. Later when she was more awake she would care. Even an hour of shuteye would suit her just fine.

Hiss of door Col-bi looked towards it. Maybe she wasn’t paying attention. Eyes fell back to Obi-wan and the others as they stepped inside. Curious Col-bi stepped in taking in the surroundings, an apartment suite. Feeling slightly out of her own element she leaned against the wall closing her eyes.
