So, Kripke did not even pick an Angel that was of that linage... probably due to not wanting to swing one way or another in the Christian realm. And seeings as most of Sam and Dean's hunts/demons/spirits/monsters and other ghouls are Occultic in origin, he probably stayed in that linage as well. [shrugs]
