Okay, people, the Winchester Asylum has decided to get involved with a new site called The Supernatural Underground. Here's what it's about: We are a network of professionals, collaborators and fans dedicated to promoting the CW television series Supernatural.
Created by a team of devoted Supernatural fans from across the United States and internationally, the SPN Underground hopes to bring publicity to one of the most well-designed, yet underappreciated, shows currently on network television.
The Supernatural Underground runs and maintains the largest pro-Supernatural promotional unit on the web, Watch Supernatural.org. Through Watch Supernatural.org, the Underground hopes to unite fans from all areas and regions in a common cause--to support and promote Supernatural.
The Underground is also currently working on or supporting the following projects: Watch Supernatural.org Operation: Winchester Fandom-Rocks Something Wicked Convention: October 26-28th, Richmond, British Columbia
The Supernatural Undergound network is open to all fans of Supernatural who are interested in joining.
Welcome to the Underground. And here's the link to the site: Supernatural UndergroundGo and check it out. We'll keep you all posted as to what happens with this site and our involvement with it.

Okay, I didn't realize that I was going to be getting emails that should be posted on our site here. As a result, I'm a little behind, but here they are: July 26, 2007***URGENT: To all SPN sites: Please remember that the upcoming Supernatural series of magazines issues by Titan ARE UNDER COPYRIGHT PROTECTION. All elements of the magazine belong to Titan, and should not be reposted without their express consent. Legal consequences may arise. Sites wishing to promote the magazine can contact Titan via their contact page to inquire as to permission and procedure: http://www.titanmagazines.com/app?service=page/Contact*** Operation:Winchester: If you haven't already, please direct your fellow fans, website members, forum partners and general website perusers to http://www.operationwinchester.com. Operation: Winchester sends care packages out to troops serving overseas, and includes a special treat--a Supernatural Season 1 DVD! Word is the soldier's are loving these packages--and the show--and of course, they share the DVDs with their friends! Please help Operation: Winchester by volunteering to sponsor a soldier, or just donating money towards the purchase of the supplies and DVDs. http://www.operationwinchester.com*** The HALLOWEEN PROJECT: Supernatural-central.com is preparing for "The Halloween Project", where fans of SPN can send in their own creative, Halloween-themed item for the cast and crew of the show. The project is accepting everything, including fanfiction, though authors will need to disclaim rights to the work. Keep an eye on Supernatural-central.com for more details, or email the Underground (ideas@supernaturalunderground.com) if you'd like to get involved. In other fan news: Supernaturalfans.co.uk is celebrating their first anniversary, and they invite you to take a look at a special video they created in honor of it. Tres amusing! (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=5NJGJyLVku4) August 2, 2007We're going to have some exciting news in the next few weeks for those of you really wanting to be proactive in support of Supernatural. Underground is going active! What we need right now are people REALLY invested in helping with a 'promote our show' organization. Though I know everyone wants to help, Underground is looking for leaders who would not mind heading up projects. Organization and professionalism are a must--please don't apply if you're not completely devoted to the show (or might consider leaving support of the show if you don't like where storylines go, etc). These activities will take time, money and effort--if you're willing to put forth effort, please let us know! Also, we're always open for IDEAS. If you have a promotions idea, let us know too! Check for the upcoming reports to find out when the Underground will officially open for all members. And now for the Report--PLEASE post this information to your websites to help spread the word: ** Creation Entertainment Convention Scheduled for November 10-11, 2007 : Creation Entertainment is proud to host a convention in honor of Supernatural, Smallville, and Buffy/Angel! The conference is scheduled for November 10-11 in Chicago Illinois. Confirmed guests include JARED PADALECKI (that's right, Sam'll be at this one, providing he doesn't miss his flight!) Samantha Ferris (Ellen) and Nicholas Brenden (Xander from Buffy). And they're not stopping there! More guests have yet to be confirmed. Rooms are going FAST. Log onto the below link to find out information about hotels, times, and to keep updated on who else signs up for this fantastic convention. http://www.creationent.com/cal/supernatural.htm**SPN_Postcards to welcome in the 2007 season: Livejournal community SPN_postcards is starting their 'Welcome Back' campaign for the cast and crew of Supernatural! Last year's campaign resulted in the production offices being wallpapered with viewers good wishes--and SPN_postcards hopes to have the same result this year! If you want to participate, please visit SPN_postcards livejournal community for all the details. http://community.livejournal.com/spn_postcards Nothing fan special was sent to us this week--if you have anything fan fun you'd like to share for next week's newsletter, please let us know. August 7, 2007A real quick update: the Underground is getting ready to go active--our Leaders are working to get everything set up for you, so that no matter where you hang in the Supernatural web world, you'll have easy access to SPNU events and promotions. Remember that the Underground is a promotional site, not a show site, so those of you with awesome SPN websites, have no fears. We're directing all our members to check out the membership sites for show news and information. But...we do need to have contacts everywhere on the web, which is why I'm asking for members to step up and become a part of our team. I need a few individuals to develop a myspace page for the Underground, and also one or two to represent the Underground on the CW website. For the myspace page, we'll literally need someone who knows myspace well, and can develop the page, run it, and report back to the SPNU main site with information that is shared on it. Underground's Myspace will be your turf, so to speak, so we need someone who can organize it well and someone the Underground can trust to keep it running. On the CW Lounge, we just want someone who can chime in from time to time on behalf of Underground events. You can work under your identity or create a new one for the Underground--but just be a presence so other CW fan members know you're there. If you're interested, email Erika at supernaturalunderground@gmail.com. Thanks! The next Underground Report will be released Friday due to a few surprises websites have asked us to keep under wraps until then. August 8, 2007First off, a huge thank you to everyone who volunteered to help us enlarge our network. After only one day, we now have a Livejournal community, a myspace community, and four representatives at the CW site. It is obvious Supernatural fans are EAGER to promote the show, and the Underground is grateful to all who have agreed to help. You can find our new communities here: Myspace: http://www.myspace.com/supernaturalundergroundLivejournal: http://community.livejournal.com/spn_undergroundIf you are a member of either myspace or Livejournal, please feel free to friend these communities. Myspace is run by the team over at SPNU myspace; to find out rules for posting, etc, visit them. Livejournal comments are welcome to our posts, and anything promotion-oriented that you'd like promoted as an official entry will be considered in our moderation queue. We are still looking for more Underground members, so help us spread the word! The larger our network, the better a chance all your events will be shared with all Supernatural fans--and beyond. Help us share information about the Underground. Over the next few weeks, we will continue to reach out to Supernatural sites, myspaces and LJ, as well as actor sites and forums. If you're connected anywhere that isn't a member, please politely share our information with their webmasters and leaders. Remember there are no obligations attached to the Underground, and no affiliate requirements. We are only as strong as our membership makes us. Finally--work is being done on a central location where all Underground members can meet. This will be the final element to unifying the Underground, and we promise, we're working hard to open it for you. SPNU has an official Leadership Council formed to start promotional work and ideas as well. More on them in the coming weeks. Please check over the member list and make sure your LJs, myspaces, and websites are listed there. We've had a lot of members join up, but not everyone has a linkable website and there are a few that may have gotten lost in the shuffle. Please notify me of any websites missing on our members list. (Websites where the webmasters/heads have not contacted me cannot be listed, sorry--I don't want to step on toes.) Thanks! The Fourth Underground Report is headed your way Friday. If you have any official promotional events or fun fan campaigns you'd like mentioned, please let us know. August 10, 2007You've already heard about our new Livejournal and MySpace communities. We are also excited to have teams in place to work the boards and forums at the CW website and TV Guide.com. But we need a few more brave volunteers to help us think out locations we need to have a presence. Mentioned were forums at TWOP and possibly E!Online. If you're interested, or have a suggestion, please let us know! Now, the Report: * Supernatural Planet Script-Writing Contest , sponsored by The Invasion: Supernatural Planet is sponsoring a scene-writing contest for Supernatural Fans! If you think you can write a script featuring Rubi or Bella, Supernatural's two new characters, hop on over to Supernatural Planet and enter the contest. The Deadline is August 24th. For prizes and further information, please visit http://www.supernaturalplanet.com. (Please note this is not sponsored by the Supernatural Division of Time Warner, but it IS officially sponsored by the Warner Bros. upcoming release The Invasion). ** The Supernatural Central Team is in need of volunteers who can help develop a GLOBAL Supernatural Site. In conjunction with Supernatural Planet, Supernatural Central is hoping to develop a site that will offer different episode names, air dates, info on the various channels, times and days, as well as possibly transcripts and regionised links, etc. They need some avid Global Volunteers from across the continents to make this happen. If you're interested, please contact curly@supernatural-central.com or tee@supernatural-central.com. http://www.supernatural-central.comhttp://www.supernaturalplanet.com***UPDATE: YELLOW-EYED DEMON FANS, LOOK OUT! In an update to our recent announcement of Creation Entertainment's Chicago convention, the Creation team has just announced that Fredric Lehne, better known to Supernatural Fans as the "Yellow-Eyed Demon", will be attending the convention, along with fellow SPN co-stars Jared Padalecki (Sam Winchester) and Samantha Ferris (Ellen). Also on the guest list are Nicholas Brendon of Buffy Fame and Singer/Songwriter Steve Carlson. The Convention is to be held on November 10-11 in Chicago. For more information, visit their Official Site. http://www.creationent.com/cal/supernatural.htm****UPDATE: FANDOM ROCKS is 75% reached! Fandom-Rocks, a charity group which raises funds in the name of Supernatural fans everywhere, is 75% to their goal, with only 21 more days left to go! Help them reach their $2000.00 goal by contributing sometime in the next 20 days. For more information on where the donations will go this cycle, please visit their OFFICIAL WEBSITE. http://www.fandom-rocks.comAs always, if you have something to contribute for upcoming Reports, please let us know. If you don't know if your event qualifies for the report, please email us at ideas@supernaturalunderground.com, and we'll be glad to let you know. Something exciting is heading Underground in the next two weeks--stay tuned... Click on the above link to be directed to the Supernatural Underground.

August 14, 2007Hi Underground, This week is going to be a slow week for Underground activity--we're still working on finishing up our website so all individual members can have a place to weigh in. One thing I will say--for all of you who have asked to sign up on an individual basis--we're really excited you've joined. If you could see the emails we get in about wanting to join, the story is always the same: 'I'm a HUGE Supernatural fan, I've converted all my family and friends, and I talk about it all the time--I'd love to help!' We're working on finding a way for you to help. All of the devotion to the show is really heartening, because it means, perhaps, when Underground fully launches, we'll have a really strong team of people whose purpose is to help us promote the show as vigorously as possible. And if that enthusiasm has converted your family and friends, you know it can convert the million or so more viewers we need to keep the show going. Only a million! That's our goal! Now for something that has unfortunately been brought to my attention, which all members, if you can post this wherever, it would be appreciated (sorry if it sounds preachy!): Please note that in the web world, there are two kinds of etiquette--there is the kind that respects the show you're supporting, and the kind that respects your fellow fans. In respecting the show you love, you are apt to be obsessive about everything show related, and this is good--it helps promote the show. But in promoting your show, you have to remember to respect your fellow fans. Not only their opinions, but the hard work and effort they put into everything they create and do to show their support. How you do this is simple-- credit them for their work. Anything a fellow fan writes or says, creates or designs, should be credited with their name and their website. It's not a hard process, really, and it connects you to your fellow fans by networking--their name to yours, and your name to theirs. These rules are unspoken on the web, but they're well-known and 95% of the time, they're respected. Legally, we're all bound to credit (and actually, not to steal) copyrighted material. With fandoms, this becomes a gray area because of who owns what, and what we could do if we weren't allowed to use copyrighted material. But when it comes to crediting those who own the work, we should always try to be as clear and as respectful as possible. Please respect your fellow fans as we all work together for the same thing. If you don't, they're apt to show you the same discourtesy you've shown to them, which doesn't benefit any fan, or any fandom. I'm still looking for people who are interested in helping out at other forums and fandoms: some names mentioned include TWOP (Television Without Pity), Facebook, and being a rep at E!Online. Let me know if you're interested. Also, we still need websites! Partly this is my fault, because I haven't been on the web as much due to personal endeavors. If you have names of websites you think would be good candidates for the Underground, please let us know. I'll try and contact as many people as I can in the next week, before the movement moves into Phase II. Thanks! Erika Click on the above image to be directed to the Supernatural Underground.

August 15, 2007Hi Underground, This has been a light week for events and promotions, so if you have any fun fan projects or things you'd like shared with our now nearly 90 members (not including those on our livejournal and myspace pages!) please let me know by tomorrow morning, US ET. I've seen some things posted up that websites are doing, but please shoot me an email to let me know about them. The reason I ask for that is to make sure I get everything correct, direct from the source, when I send it out to the Underground and post it on our sites. Thanks for the great response from everyone as far as helping us with places to promote a presence. With everything you've done, we've not got a livejournal, myspace, Facebook, and people representing us on tvguide.com, cw's official site, and a few other entertainment media locations. I'll list our addies for those items at the bottom, if you want to join. One thing we definitely need that I didn't think about before is ambassadors to other SPN sites. Can you write up a good email notice and send it out to your favorite sites? If you feel confident you can, let me know. Hopefully we'll be busy with projects and things sometime in the next few weeks, but we still need to reach out and get as many SPNU fans under the Underground banner as we can. Let me know if you're interested in helping. We have draft letters you can use, too. If you're curious as to which sites still need to be contacted, our updated member list is here: http://www.supernaturalunderground.com/members.php We haven't harassed anyone--most sites have only had one contact, though some of the boys fansites have had two. And we're needing other of the actors fansites (for people like John, Ellen, Jim Beaver, YED, etc) so if you know of some of those, let us know. Alright--I'll stop talking now. let me know if you websites have anything (updates are good too), or we'll skip the Underground Report for this week. August 17, 2007Hi Underground: While the week has been relatively quiet, we did get quite a few new and welcome members to the Underground. Thank you to everyone for being a part. While we are waiting for a few new developments to really get our promotions end going, seeing the number of people eager and willing to help promote Supernatural just demonstrates how great our show really is. We are proud to be working in partnership with Team Winchester , another promotional unit on the web, and one that is currently running promotional projects. Please visit their (great) site for more information on their group. (http://www.teamwinchester.com ) The Report: * Fandom Rocks is 83% to their goal: This fantastic charitable organization has accomplished many things during their first campaign, not the least of which is raising $1,700 for their chosen first quarter charities, the Lawrence Community Shelter and SOS Children's Villages. While you can find an update about their events HERE, they are not quite finished--their deadline for fund raising is September 1st, which means you still have two weeks to donate to their worthy cause. Together, by spreading the word, we CAN help them reach it. If you have a website or forums (or a myspace page) please post the links back to the organization and causes so they can reach their goal of $2000. Supernatural's creators, producers and the actors (including Jensen, who was informed of Fandom Rocks in person) are aware of this fund raising entity, so if you'd like to help, please visit their website! http://www.fandom-rocks.com** The Supernatural-Central Halloween Project has begun!: Supernatural Central, in partnership with Supernatural Planet , has begun a creative and unique project to help 'scare up' a laugh or two from the Supernatural cast and production team! If you think you're talented enough to frighten the Supernatural crew with an original drawing, sculpture, or story, check out the project now. Even better than giving Jared a fright may be knowing that because of your submission, SNC is donating $7.00 towards two charities: the SPCA and Young Life. The project will accept submissions of Halloween-inspired creations through October 20th, and can include everything from fanfiction and sculptures to drawings and other unique creations. For more information, general rules (including size and copyright rules), and mailing options, please visit Supernatural Central's Halloween Project website. (And be scared by their rotating layouts!) http://www.supernatural-central.comhttp://www.supernatural-central.com/_thphttp://www.supernaturalplanet.com Click on the above link to be directed to the Supernatural Underground.

August 18, 2007Hi Underground, The Underground will have a big annoucement for you on Monday, so stay tuned! Also...this sounds silly, I know, but since I've seen it bumped around a few places (and some have made mention of doing this), I thought I'd send out an email. As fun as it is to poke fun at "Hurricane Dean", considering the metaphor seems to fit, we may want to try and keep joking to a minimum until this dangerous storm passes. Anyone seeing the aftereffects of Hurricane Katrina, which hit the US 2 years ago, knows how scary these storms can be. So whether you live outside the US (or in) please try and be respectful of the damage this storm can do. Even if the namesake is one of our more favorite destructive characters. Thanks! August 20, 2007Hi Underground! We have a major announcement this week--what I've been promising for a few weeks now. The Underground forums are officially open! For weeks we've been planning a way to get those of you interested in working proactively on Supernatural promotion a place to chat it up, and now, it's here: http://www.supernaturalunderground.com/forumForums are open to everyone, and you are welcome to register now. You will see our list of forum threads, including places to post information about your website, as well as areas to talk about promotions. Right now, being new, we are definitely looking for you to spread word of your promotional activities! Anything mentioned in the Underground Reports are invited to post in the 'campaign' thread about their current activities. We do ask you to check out our FAQs about the forums and campaigns, just to familiarize yourself with the rules, so everything will run smoothly. Any site wishing to have Underground support, please note in your explanatory post that you'd like to be considered. Hopefully this will give the many of you who are individuals a place to theorize, work on, and develop ideas for Supernatural promotion. Our first event is coming up--Dragon*Con! If you are going and would like to help promote The Supernatural Underground, please check out the Dragon*Con thread in our "Events" forum. We are proud to continue working for all fans in support of this show, and as of today, can truly offer you a sincere "Welcome" to the Underground. Fans of CW's Supernatural to Present Donation to Lawrence Community Shelter
Dana Stodgel, of Illinois, representing Fandom Rocks, www.fandom-rocks.com, a website for fans of the CW television series Supernatural will present a donation to the Lawrence Community Shelter on Sunday, September 2nd, 2007, at 12:30 pm on the front porch of the Lawrence Community Shelter, 214 W 10th St, Lawrence, KS. Fandom Rocks has been collecting donations from Supernatural fans from all over the world for two chosen charities, the Lawrence Community Shelter and SOS Children's Villages. The charity campaign began June 18, 2007 and culminates September 1 with a goal of $2000.
Fans took the much-loved quote from Supernatural's first season to heart when choosing the charities for the first campaign. Along with the geographic connection to Supernatural, the Lawrence Community Shelter's focus on families, children, and people in need - a major theme in the series - resonated with fans. As a result, two deserving charities with strong missions to improve the lives of people across the globe rose to the top of the list. The Lawrence Community Shelter, www.lawrenceshelter.org, provides safe shelter and comprehensive support services and programs that provide a path to a positive future for people experiencing homelessness and people who are at risk of homelessness. SOS Children's Villages, an international charity operating in 132 countries and territories worldwide, will also receive donations raised during the first campaign.
Lawrence is the hometown of Supernatural's fictional Winchester family, two brothers who travel the country searching for their lost father while fighting supernatural threats (Supernatural airs on the CW, KCWE 29 or Sunflower channel 17).

August 23, 2007Goal: One Many of you have been raring to go in the quest to promote Supernatural, and the Underground is going to give it to you. We've begun our first campaign, and the Goal is simple: One. One ratings point. One more viewer. One more fan. That's our mission, to all our Underground members and hopefully beyond. If we're going to see the show through, we need at least one rating point, on average, per show, for SPN to make it to season four. If each of us can convert one viewer into one fan, we might be able to get it to work. So we're beginning a widespread campaign to get that one ratings point, and you, SPNU, are the ones in charge of it. In the coming weeks, we'll be announcing a variety of ways in which our members can help be a part of Goal: One. One of our first Goal: One movements is flyers for widespread distribution--if you want to contribute a flyer style, please contact us. For now, we've got two things we're especially in need of: --Representatives for Dragon*Con: Dragon*Con is coming to Atlanta!. We're going to be there, handing out flyers to people. If you are attending, please let us know, and we'll find a way to meet up. --PRESS TEAM: Part of Goal: One is going to involve contact press people--from tv to film to magazines--about the campaign and the show. To do this, SPNU is holding auditions for press writers to help with the press team. If you have experience in writing professional letters, please contact us. We need semi-experienced people who are willing to devote a little time contacting press vehicles with news about Goal: One, SPNU and Supernatural. This is not for spam campaigns; we are writing extremely professional letters in a professional, business-like style. If you think you can do this, please contact us! And now, the Report--couple of big things to promote, so bear with us! FANDOM-ROCKS REACHES THEIR GOAL!: If you want to know how strong we are united, look no further than Fandom-Rocks, the charitable organization formed by Supernatural Fans. With a little over a week to go, Fandom-Rocks reached their goal of $2,000 for their first campaign, and you, Underground, deserve some thanks. The group will be making a personal presentation to one of their two supported Charities, the Lawrence Community Shelter on Sunday, September 2nd, 2007, at 12:30 pm. You are more than welcome to attend if you are in the area. The Shelter is located at 214 W 10th St, Lawrence, KS. Please contact Fandom-Rocks for more information and the game plan for the day. Congratulations Fandom-Rocks, from SPNU, and thank you, Underground for all your support! You are still welcome to donate through the end of the campaign, September 1st. http://www.fandom-rocks.comSPN FANS: WANT TO MEET DOWN UNDER? A group of dedicated SPN fans from Australia have come together to try and form the first SPN-themed convention in Australia. "Oz Con" is currently under construction, and needs the support of all SPN fans from around the globe to become a reality. They've started a petition to help get Oz Con set up, and it needs your signature to become a reality. You can find the petition here: http://www.jraunlimited.com/site/aussiecon/index.php . You can find out more information by visiting the Oz Con myspace page: http://www.myspace.com/allhellbreakslooseozcon . The group is in partnership with JRAUnlimited. Good luck, Ozzers. http://www.jraunlimited.com/site/aussiecon/index.php. - Along with our LJ and myspace, The Underground now has a Facebook: if you'd like to become a member/friend, please visit us here: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=9952175532The Winchester Love Fanboards have a petition currently going they would like to send to the creators and cast of Supernatural in recognition of their efforts to create a great show. All you have to do is visit their forums here and sign your name, along with your well-wishes: http://winchesterlove.proboards99.com/inde...7476846&page=1). You can also sign at the Underground Forum ( http://www.supernaturalunderground.com/forum ) where they've set up a thread for the petition. http://winchesterlove.proboards99.com/index.cgi As always, please email me (supernaturalunderground@gmail.com) if you have an event, promotion or campaign you'd like the Underground to promote. Thanks for your patience, SPNU, as we've gotten off the ground. Hopefully in the next few weeks we can hit it running--and reach our goal of ONE. September 3, 2007Hi SPNU, If it's seemed a little quiet around here--well, it is. I suppose this is what could be called 'the calm before the storm', but the last few weeks have been somewhat quiet due to a number of matters we're clearing up--not the least of which includes a nasty bout of "demon style" flu, class schedules, and some other personal matters. Rest assured, we'll be gearing up and ready to go when Supernatural: Season 3 premieres. Until then, thank you for your patience, and don't forget about us! In the next few days I'll have a report from our presence at Dragon*Con, a Report (that was due out last week, sorry) and a few new team members to recognize. Hopefully our forum activities can start jumping and our Goal: 1 campaign can start to get into swing. We are still committed to doing everything we can to get our show promoted and on to a few more seasons worth of enjoyment. As always, if you have any questions, let me know, and please continue to help us spread the word about SPNU. If you have any other websites you'd like to recommend, let us know, because the next few weeks will be devoted to increasing our membership even more. Thanks, Erika Click on the above link to be directed to the Supernatural Underground.

September 14, 2007Hi Underground! I know its been a while...thank you for being patient as we sorted things out and started organizing our drives for the year. The first major campaign we are proud to be a part of is the Creation Entertainment's Salute to Supernatural, Smallville, and Buffy/Angel, November 10-11th in Chicago. The heads of Creation have been nice enough to give us our own presentation at the convention, where we will be talking about Supernatural's fandom on the web, as well as giving tips on how to promote Supernatural on-line and beyond. As you can imagine, we are very excited about the opportunity to speak at this convention, and hope we can do justice to our show and our fandom (and see Jared and Jensen in person!) SPNU will also have a table at the Convention, where you can meet some of our Team Leaders in person, and learn more about the upcoming SPNU campaigns. Since the Underground is primarily about YOU, we are, of course, opening up participation in our part of the convention. For websites who are interested in helping us to flesh out our discussion about SPN on the web, we'd love to hear from you! Our presentation head is Melissa, and you can either email her ( melissa@supernaturalunderground.com) or you can go to our forums, where we will have an ongoing discussion about the Convention. Not everything can be addressed completely during the presentation, but if your site is a member of the Underground, we will have lists available for the audience to learn about what you do on the web. (Personal sites will not be included for privacy purposes, but we will make mention of the strength of places such as Livejournal and Myspace). We are also accepting volunteers to help us manage our table throughout the two days. The head of promotions for the Con is Deej, and you can email her at dana@supernaturalunderground.com . We're in need to volunteers who want to help introduce the Underground, explain the purpose and ongoing campaigns, and just represent the loyal fans who want this show to succeed. I hope you will help us develop the best presentation we can, representing all elements and aspects of the Supernatural online fandom--after all, that is who we are--YOU. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me. And if you haven't logged on to our forums, please do so--we'll continue to discuss our Creation presence there, and we'll be posting sign up sheets and other volunteer positions in the Creation Threads. Thanks, and as always, if you have anything to promote, let us know! Erika Click on the above link to be directed to the Supernatural Underground.

September 24, 2007Hello Underground! This week's report is going to focus on a couple of things you can do to help support Supernatural and perhaps make a stir. As always, if you have contests, info, or events to promote, please let us know, and we'll include it in our next Report. * New NIELSEN BETA SITE!!!: For those of you unfamiliar with the Nielsen ratings, they are the television ratings which advertisers, networks and production companies use to judge how popular a show is, and whether it deserves a seasonal renewal or cancellation. Now, Nielsen is affording viewers the opportunity to voice their opinions in a site called "Hey, Nielsen!" Right now the site is in Beta format, with an official site opening sometime this fall. But that doesn't mean you can't sign up! PLEASE POST THIS TO ALL YOUR FANS VIA YOUR WEBSITES!!! If you sign up now, you can post your opinion about why Supernatural is so under appreciated! Right now the Jericho fans have submitted over 800 positive reviews about Jericho--and we have 7! We need to bump SPN up to the top ten--get your members and watchers to sign up now! http://www.heynielsen.com/* The People's Choice Awards website: The People's Choice awards is an awards show where viewers and fans get the opportunity to select the nominees. You are welcome to sign up and vote in their buzz polls, and perhaps be a part of the selection committee which will select shows and actors for next year's awards. To do so, please visit their website and sign up now! http://www.pcavote.com/pca/index.jsp (Thanks to Brenda for the heads up!) If you are interested in having your website mentioned as a part of our Creation presentation--or a part of our list of websites at the con--please let us know. We're currently developing our presentation. We are also planning on being a few more events down the road after Creation, so stay tuned! Thanks, Erika Click on the above link to be directed to the Supernatural Underground.
