I had this idea while taking a shower after swim practice today. Really random, yes, but I thought, why not? It all came about because I had a dream that Haru was on YouTube and found the video I made of him... o.O I have weird dreams. Annnyway... the chapters can concern any anime/manga, and if anybody wants to add a chapter, feel free!
Summary:
Souma Hatsuharu is surfing the web one day when he decides to read a bit of fanfiction. After arriving at the well-known fanfic site, a new category in the anime/manga section catches his eye: Fruits Basket. Haru's never heard of Fruits Basket, so, curious, he clicks on it-- and is stunned at what he finds. He enlightens Kyou and Yuki... and pretty soon nearly every one of the juunishi becomes informed of the site!
Chapter One:Souma Hatsuharu was bored. He had snuck onto Shigure's computer while the inu was out of the house, and Kyou, the only one who knew Haru was there, could care less what the ox did in the dog's room. He had been to every site he could think of: online RPGs, chatrooms, even reading Shigure's half-finished books. Finally Haru decided that even though he didn't read too much manga, he read some, so why not read fanfiction? It was better than whatever Shigure was writing...
So Haru entered into the computer the URL of a fanfiction site. He scrolled through the list of anime and manga, looking for one he felt like reading. There was a new manga listed, and it caught the ox's eye:
Fruits Basket.Fruits Basket? What the hell is that? Haru wondered, only half-interested. He clicked on it out of curiosity.
His eyes widened.
Haru stared. He blinked. He rubbed his eyes and stared again.
Haru's jaw dropped. "No way..."
"Oi, Haru," came Kyou's voice suddenly, snapping the ox out of his reverie. "What're you up to?"
"Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh......................." Haru said. In reply, he pointed wordlessly at the screen.
"What the hell is up?" Kyou asked, bored, looking to see what it was Haru pointed at. The cat reacted exactly the same as the ox had.
"No way..."
There was a long pause. "Well, read one!" Kyou said suddenly.
"What?" Haru asked, surprised.
"Read it!" Kyou repeated, impatient. He grabbed the mouse and clicked on the very first fanfiction.
Okay, how it's going to work is this: the fic they're reading will be in bold font, and then in between will be the reactions of Kyou and Haru to whatever they're reading in either script or paragraph form, that doesn't matter. I'll write a chapter when I stop procrastinating.
