so~ i'm behind schedule. usually i at least have a costume picked out before fanime and i'm procrastinating by now. but this time, i do not have anything picked out. so, i need your help. o_o;
i have a few ideas. all are a bit... insane, and there are some major pros and cons of each.

- hoopskirt. >: where would i get/how would i make/how would i store/how would i fit through doors with/in/whatever the thing?
- fabric choices. i found the PERFECT ("clematis" was even the name of the colour, it was fate, i swear) fabric for the top over a year ago, but now the store does not carry that anymore. plus, the fabric stretched over the hoopskirt would be a bit difficult to find.
- would i do the actual doll version or the amano version?

+ tons of detail with simple construction will be a nice break from my bodaiju, which was very complex construction and relatively little adornment.
- it feels too much like koe. i'm not sure that i want to do another one like that.
- while i like the costume, i'm not really "in love" with the costume, you know? like how i was with bodaiju.
- again, finding the material would be an issue.
- i've had two costume in a row with tons of flowing chiffon that gets stepped on and nearly ripped. not sure if i am up for that again.

+ it's made of PVC. :3 (PVC is sexy, easy to get, and brings the costume to a whole new level i have never been to.)

- the main thing holding me back would be those shoulderpads. i am afriad that i would have to vaccuform plastic, which would not be fun at all for me to attempt.
- it has pants. if you knew me, you would see why that would be an issue, as i cannot stand pants. :<

if you were in my position, wanting to choose a new cosplay (all hand-sewn, keep in mind, so no catalog), and could not decide, what would you do? is there something else that you would reccomend that i am forgetting? it's really hard because i am not really in love with doing any of the costumes i can think of (ningyou is the one i would like to do the most, but i do not know if i have the skills to make it, and utakata is the one i am least in love with), as i was certainly with bodaiju, and to a lesser extent, koe. it's such a tough choice. :/ what would you all reccomend for me to do?
