I can't see it very well either, but I *think* it's something liek this:

it's a V colar lined with black beads, LOTS of black beads and sequins. It looks like the sequins and beads go down towards the waist. Insidethe colar is some ruffles I think. Beside the colar is some tule ruffles. and beside it is some plain fabric maybe about 2 inches wide framing the sequins and beads in the V colar. It basically forms a fancy V shaped colar overall.

That's as far as I am able to see. I'll trya nd draw it thenscan it for you :)

however, i should have been more specific.

that is the jacket, not the dress. ^-^;;

on the dress skirt part, on the left side (when wearing- i always refer to the side when wearing) is a part where the fabric is pulled up in one spot. i cannot tell if this is simply a gather of the fabric, and opening in the fabric with ruffled edges, of even if there is anything underneath it. :/

but thanks to your picture, i think i have the jacket part pretty much down. i will have to look at a few more pictures, though. (also, what kind of materal should i use for the odd feathery-looking parts on the sleeves and dress? it is not feathers, as it is too stiff and clumpy, and it is not fur, so what is it? lace? i have never seen lace like that... i was thinking of using that eyelash yarn, but that sheds easily, unless i coat it with hot glue beforehand. XD)
EDIT: i have a picture of the jacet with enhanced colour if oyu wan tto see it... :D

which gave me the brilliant idea of taking a screen of the skirt part of hte dress and enhancing the colours in photoshop to make it more visibl1 MWAHAHAHA! XD (of course i have t wait until afternon today when i am back at my mom's and have virtual dub and a copy of the PV~~ :D)

O_< I'm currently checking the PV to see if I can help you find anything. If you're talking about the black fabric around her skirt I think it's basically tucked under the jacket. The PV is not helping at all T^T then again it might just be my poor eyesight ;_;

The skirt on the left. Odd part is the black fabric? Or maybe it's just because it's not visible in the picture T^T However I think I have a brief idea of the skirt.

I'm looking at the picture currently and it seems to be helpinbg. I'm making a picture of the whole dress as far as I can see it >_O.

the sleeve. I think it is actually puffed up sleeves around the upper arm. Around the elbow and the arm are wrinkled fabric and on her hand a glove. I think for the upper arm and the shoulder part it is basically puffed sleeps covered in tule ruffles. However they have little patterns and holes in it so I don't think they're feathers XD However it is tule ruffles with rather linear and "sharp" patterns I think. Which is why it is linear and feather looking, if there is such word XD

XD haha XD that is a possible way. however that's illegall! :P waitaminute there aren;t even rules -_-

i actually enhanced the PV right on virtual dub. :P i'm crazy i know.


what i found was that it looks like there is somehow extra fabric there, like how there is extra fabrc in a circle skirt, but only in one spot, and that is confusing me! XD i have no idea how she did that. o-o it also appears to be raised at that one spot, with a black underskirt.

also, the material of the dress has gotten me. crepe or chiffon? i think i might go with crepe, as the only chiffon that i can find in my area is all chiffon gerogette, which would not look good at all. D: (that is what i used for my koe, and it was a pain to work with and did not look very good in real life.)

i think with the help of deartest i can figure out how to make the jacket. o-o she promised to help meh if i need it, as she is so much better at sewing than i am. XD

and the fuffle cannot be tulle. tulle is too flimsy. are you thinking organdie? its sheer like tulle, but a bit stiffer and without the holes. i'll look into lace made from that. and if all else fails, i think that eyelash yarn dipped in a mixture of white glue and water and then air-dried while being brushed is a good substitute. ^.~

EDIT: oh, yes! i forgot about the random thing! there is a random piece of dress material (the same stuff that the train is made of, too) off to the right side of the dress in the PV (you can see it in parts where she is on the cliff and it is a behind shot), and i looked for it on the winina riders scan, and i found it-- on the left. now, this makes me go "wtf?" (what the freak, in case you thought i was cussing for a moment there), and ihonestly canot figure out why it is there, what it is, or how it is attached. obviously it can move around, so i am not sure which side to even put it on! i guess i will have to watch for it in other parts of the PV.

also, i realized that i will not be able to take off the gloves without taking off the jacket. XD i also do not think i would be able to use the restroom unless i took off the entire dresss, train and all. XD ahh~ i'm used to it, as i had to remove my entire koe costume and put it back on to use the restroom. it was a 15-minute ordeal. xD (i think once i was in a really big hurry and did it in 10.... xD)

there was one other thing... oh! the hat~ what kind of hat is that? i know nothing about hats. XD

I know nothing about English words for fabric T^T it's a fabric that looks like tulle. it might be what you're talking about because it's this kind of tulle like material but it's rather stiff, similar to the material for the veil on her hat. :)

I've never done cosplay before, so maybe you know better. :) But crepe and chiffon is quite similar so I don't think it matters. :)

A little help is always good I guess ;) *actually if I were cosplaying I would cheat all the way through and get a tailor XD that;s if I'm allowed to do a cosplay T^T*

What I can find about her skirt is this:
It's not exactly a skirt. From what I can see in her pv, she's actually wearing black leggings and her 'skirt' are actually layers of almost translucent fabric and the biggest*and perhaps most flexible, light and translucent one that "flies and floats around" best* one is the one tucked under her jacket and we can clearly see in the bodaiju scan we see everywhere. So it's actually leggings covered in fabric. Because the part where the wind is blowing, her whole 'skirt' is blown off and we can clearly see that the 'skirt' floats behind freely and it reveals her leggings. :) However, I cannot take a good look at her left side where the fabric is pulled up T.T Random fabric... >_O um.. I can't get a good look at it either T_T

to tell the truth I don't know much either. But I'll trya nd research on it. and get a look at it. Actually, it doesn't look anything that fancy from what I see. It looks something liek a simple round hat with no brim. It looks a little fuzzy, it's either the bad quality of the picture or there are fur on it. On top of it is a veil that covers the face and goes down to... the shoulder I think?



^I think the hat's shape is something like that. However without the fold around the middle and it's black.

actually I think I found the random retarded fabric on the left!!! :D in the bodaiju scan in the album :D Under her left hand I can see a piece of falling fabric. I think the fabric is the same as the floaty one tucked under the jacket. thsi one's also tucked under her jacket too I think just that this one is positioned more to the left. It seems like it, but I'm not sure XD I have bad eyesight ;_;

i totally love your breakdown, however, i have to argue with it. XD

you can clearly see it is a dress, not random layers of fabric, though that would explain the floatyness. it is in fact connected on that left side, up at the top there.

and the random thing i also found on the scan, but ont he left side, as you said, not the right, as in the PV. i think i said that.. maybe not. XD

hmm~ the hat. the hat looks to me like it is longer as opposed to rounder, like your picture. but i will look into those hats~ (and it looks like a soft, shiny materal, like taffeta, but who in thier right mind would have a taffeta hat? O_o;;)

i think that the parts of the skirt that fly out during the PV are part of the dress, but like, still connected, as it is a dress, you know?

hmm~ what should i do about sleeves on this thing? kep in mind that i will be wearing it in late may and i do not really want full dress sleeves under that jacket... XD half-sleeves, maybe? or i could go totally insane, not give it sleeves, and pin the jacket so it hides that. XD

i had more, but i forgot. o-o

as i said i dont have good eyes T^T it looks like the skirt is made of some floaty fabrics tucked under the jacket so when a gust of wind blows they can reveal the leggings like in the PV.

the hat, i think is basically brimless, and it is flat and rounded, maybe a little long. dont even discuss to me about the material XD *is clueless*

Late may is a hard time I guess o.O i suggest you use a lighter and thinner material for the sleeve, half sleeves is fine but i think it might change the overall look, or maybe you can just save a good store of ice and wear a complete outfit XD

okay, i canot find where that extra piece of fabric that was blowing in the wind comes from on most of the screens- i think that she might be wearing a diffrent version on the cliff. either that, or i am just blind. xD

okay, this is what it is:

there is a top layer of crepe that has a slit in it on the left side, and is also pulled up a bit in that spot. this blows in the wind from any side, and is seen when she is on the cliff and the wind is blwing towards her.

then, since crepe is a sheer fabric--- there is... OMG! a lining! :D this lining is fully intact and when being blown from underneath, as when she is standing in front of the cliff, it shows to be intact and does not cause the outer layer which has the slit on it to blow outwards. (though if you enhance the PV via virtualdub, you can see this layer moving)


so~~ now i'm happy. :D

now to go off and count the little jewel thingies on her dress. xD
